1. FB: You will have before you the Ass'n. of Nat'l Investigators, Inc., the officers and trustees of this Ass'n., and the contemplated work through the various committees of same. You will answer the questions which we will ask you pertaining to each individual associated or connected with the Ass'n. giving advice as to correct fitting together of these Committees for the best results to be obtained. You will answer the questions pertaining to every phase of the work, giving the correct procedure for each phase, and the correct attitude of each individual and the Association as a whole, in order to maintain and keep first and foremost before self and the public the correct ideals of the Ass'n.

2. EC: We have the Association, as individuals and groups, which - combined - form the physical body, Association of National Investigators, Inc. In the approach, first we would give that as is to be considered at this time, when the Association through its committees would function to and for the public. As is understood, or seemed - but RARELY understood - that which is the holding or interesting factor with same is an air of mystery, and the mystery fades when the truth is apparent to the individual; yet there is seen in the make-up of human mentality that which seeks for the unknown, and this air; yet the simplicity of the ability of individuals to apply that as may be obtained from their own subconscious self, cosmic forces and universal consciousness (or call it by whatever name the individual may choose) - THIS is the great truth that MUST be apparent to the layman, the individual, the scientist, the mathematician, the historian, the individual seeking information through these sources finds this apparent. A comparison of these - there will be seen that in whatever age, from Adam to Galey (?) [GD's note later: I think this word was Halley], this has been the same condition EVER existent - that this force is

apparent in the earth's development at this time through another form or manner is only the expression to individuals that all are a portion of the divine, the creative energy, the whole, and this purpose kept first and foremost is that sure success of the approach of committee, individual, and Association, to the public. Remembering, these must ALL be taken into consideration. Not by a phrase or a catch-word, but rather by the exemplary life LIVED, and not by precept, or even word. The fruits of the fig declare this to be a fig, even as the seed of the tare declares it to be dross. Ready for questions.

3. (Q) Should Morton Blumenthal continue to be President of the Ass'n. of Nat'l. Investigators? (A) He should.

4. (Q) Should Edgar Cayce remain chairman of the Board of Directors? (A) Hasn't been made so yet. Should be.

5. (Q) Should a Board of Governors function? (A) There certainly should, and should not comprise more than three members - made up of trustees, who outline policies for trustees' action, working under the authority of the charter granted. Do not attempt to overstep same, or even call this into question.

6. (Q) Who should be the members of the Board of Governors? (A) These should be altered or changed as the manifested work is spread to others. Many will seek these sources for all CHARACTERS of information. The policies should be outlined by the Board. These should be acted upon by the trustees and same should be distributed through that committee as would be the "go-between", as it were, to the public. Those most vitally interested in the welfare of that being attempted. That being attempted, that just outlined. As to individuals, in names - let those speak from the heart, and the work will go forward - forward march.

7. (Q) Should Mr. Kahn be chairman of the Board of Governors? (A) Very good.

8. (Q) How would Mr. Land, Mr. Tim Brown, and Mr. Edgar Cayce function as committee on readings? (A) These should come under the physical supervision of Cayce, with the assistance of Land and Brown - for no one may say who the body would or would not give information to. Hence this should be presided over by that individual, see?

9. (Q) Should this committee classify readings as to kind? (A) They should.

10. (Q) Should they have a sliding scale of income as to kind? (A) Provided the income is not considered first. While, when the information is classed as worthy of consideration, certainly there should be contribution commensurate with the

254-46 Page 3

service rendered. Yet the individual must be satisfied, and this presents then a matter of business - also one of due consideration before a definite stand should be taken. Remember the charter provides that readings shall be given to members and members only, unless a personal reading from the subject. The sliding scale is in accord with good business, provided good business is not made objectionable to the purport of the work attempted.

11. (Q) Should a program be started for developing assistants to Edgar Cayce? (A) This should; for, as has oft been given, the force of that that is creative in its nature will NOT defeat its purpose, PROVIDED the application by that which is a portion of Creative Energy itself does not misapply that in the way of bringing other than the purport of that in creation. This, then, should be begun as soon as there is able to be definite data given from that as has already been accomplished by that one around whom the present work is builded, and it should take the form of that as of the giving [assistance?] of the future; yet this must be approached with prayer and fasting, for such can only be accomplished through prayer and fasting. Not as man counts fasting - doing without FOOD; but one that would abase himself that the creative force MIGHT be made manifest. This will be presented even as such is made known to those studying such phenomena, as physically called, in the process of operation.

12. (Q) Should we take this up with the Scientific Society of America? (A) No! Take it up rather with God!

13. (Q) Should there be a committee on public contacts? (A) There should, and these should be of those that are in the position to KNOW the psychology of education, of salesmanship, of application - to the young and to the old.

14. (Q) Should any effort be made to contact the psychic research society of New York? [Amer. Soc. for Psy. Research] (A) When it approaches the work being attempted. Do not seek! Let those who are seeking find in that being MANIFESTED, as has been given, the answer to their seeking. "Seek and ye shall find", this has been given from Him who is the giver of all, and others must seek that that being manifested before man is the ANSWER to the heart and the core and the DESIRE of that from within that gives that free understanding of knowledge as truth.

15. (Q) Is it feasible to have a finance committee of five headed by Edwin Blumenthal? (A) It is, and is necessary - and the purport of the

254-46 Page 4

expenditures should be in as much in accord with that being attempted as in the receipts of same.

16. (Q) Is a Chicago member of finance committee desirable? (A) Very good. Those that are interested, such as those who have among their own loved ones those conditions that are not understood. When these are made known that there is able to be brought to the understanding and consciousness of self and that loved one, a better understanding - then financial assistance in the direction of service on such Board may be obtained. DO that. Worthwhile for ALL concerned.

17. (Q) Will income from hospital, readings, sale of appliances and literature eventually make our movement self-sustaining? (A) There has been given aforetime, give sufficient that the half of the building will meet the overhead. There will be seen the Forces will give, even as has been said, sixty and a hundred fold, for the "silver and the gold is mine saith the Lord, and the cattle on a thousand hills". He that applieth that in hand in a manner in keeping with making known the manifestation of the relations existent between Creative Energy and man, and man AND man, is in accord with those forces that - though the rains may come and the winds may blow, the foundation is laid in Him that is strong as the earths themselves; for in Him is light and the light shineth into the darkness, and man seeing that light seeks to know from whom, where, same may be gained in the soul - for it seeks its Maker!

18. (Q) Will endowment be necessary? (A) For expansions and for growth, sure. Be sure the foundation of purpose is laid aright, that the expansions will never be turned into the coffers of INDIVIDUALS AS INDIVIDUALS.

19. (Q) What special way is good for raising quick funds? (A) Manifest that as is set forth - using that judiciously that is in hand, and carry ON - for I will supply saith the Lord, to him who builds MY house. We are through for the present.
