1. GC: You will have before you [257], present in this room, about whose mental and physical condition and improvement of same we will ask questions, and also about the financial condition of the entity, with the Federal Furniture Factories, whose officials are at their Chicago offices, 666 Lake Shore Drive, 12th floor, Chicago, Ill. We will ask about the condition of the entity itself and also the condition of the firm with whom he is associated. After you have finished by questions, you will then give the complete information that the entity should have to make this the most successful year as made out in the horoscope.

2. EC: Yes, we have that condition as regarding [257] and associations, and those necessary to make the success of those conditions as surround the entity. These we have had here before. Ready for questions.

3. (Q) Examine all teeth and tell what is yet to be done on them to bring to perfect condition, especially the lower teeth on the left side of mouth. (A) Those next to the stomach teeth need the particular attention, on the left lower side. Those in the front on the left side also need attention. One needs removing in the upper front side and matched with the others for the better looks and for the better use of same in mastication. One lower in the right side back molar needs attention. Also low down close to the gum. These will be in very good position when these are used in this way and manner. Use Ipsab to keep these clear from the tartar and from the condition as in the mouth, see? This not interfering with that of the use of any of the wash that is used, so that not too much acid is in same. Ipsab would be used twice a month. This sufficient, taken in the mouth, rinsed out, washed off thoroughly, around the gums and around each side.

4. (Q) What will stop the bleeding from the gums where the last two teeth were put in? (A) Just given it.

5. (Q) Can the rest of the front teeth be saved by special

257-13 Page 2

treatment, and if so, what is it? (A) We have given this.

6. (Q) Is the present treatment of the hair [for baldness] being properly applied? [See 257-7.] (A) Having the results as the applications are applied, rather than applications as to bring desired results. As we see, would be more in keeping with that as has been given for this to be applied by entity itself, but he doesn't take time to do it! In the application to this at the present, were this being used by someone else, take the massage of the crude oil oftener. We will find this will bring better looks.

7. (Q) How often should Listerine [for dandruff] be used? (A) Once to twice a month.

8. (Q) Is there any way to replace hair that has fallen out? (A) Using the crude oil.

9. (Q) What has caused the ill effects to the body's internal condition during the past two weeks, and what will restore it to its normal condition, to keep it in perfect equilibrium? (A) Too much worry and too little consistency used with meals.

10. (Q) What should the body eat and when during the next three months to bring its condition to normal? (A) Well that this be adhered to by the body: Well was it said, "When in Rome do as the Romans do." When in that portion of the country where there is that which grows in that portion of the country, use that. Do not apply to the body, under the present strain under which the body labors, much of those food values grown in other than the section of the country in which the entity is residing at the time. When in the South eat Southern food. When in the far North, eat that that grows there - not that which grows in the South. For a counter balance this may often be found well, for the entity, as has been seen and has been given often, needs that which will give better results through the assimilation and digestion in the lower portion of the body, see? Well, then, that those properties as of small quantities of olive oil (which the body likes very well) be taken as food values, see? Not sufficient that this becomes rancid in the system, see, but that acts as a lubricant and as a food for the digestive system, especially that below the duodenum.

11. (Q) What physical exercise should the body take and when? (A) As much outdoor exercise as can be taken will always be well for the body. Well that the body, as has been given, guard well the physical conditions of the body in the next two to three years, if the body would gain the benefits from

257-13 Page 3

the efforts being put forth. Not well to spend self in making money, then spend money in making self.

12. (Q) What laxatives or purgatives should the body take and when? (A) Olive Oil would be sufficient, used in the proper way and manner, with the food as has been outlined, see? for, as is seen with this body, as with most bodies, especially with this body, in keeping its equilibrium and balance, well that the foods of the climate of the country in which the body finds self be used - not shipped foods, for necessary that those that keep closest to nature, without the contamination of other influences in shipment, be used for the body, and with that the application of the Olive Oil as the lubricant and as the food forces for the digestive system, this would be sufficient for the digestion, for the whole equilibrium, from the food standpoint.

13. (Q) What causes stiffness in back of spine, especially the neck? (A) Brain work.

14. (Q) Are all the organs of the body in perfect condition? (A) Never in perfect condition, or rarely, for occasionally, of course, somewhere about three o'clock in the morning, they are in perfect condition. In the general forces of the body we find these are very good at present. Necessary that this care and attention, as has been outlined, be kept, [257], we are speaking of.

15. (Q) What will improve the mental condition of the body, to bring it to the normal equilibrium it should have? (A) Listen often to those who know more than the entity does. Keep quiet when he is listening, and this will apply in any line in which the entity is studying, or in that which the entity intends to apply self. Be a good listener as well as a good speaker.

16. (Q) What should the body do in the way of reading to improve the mind for its future work? (A) No specific reading at this time would we outline for same, unless that as pertains to those of the ancient builders of wood carving. This would be well. Such will be found in any of the libraries, especially as that as pertains to the French, to the Italian, to the German, and to English, also some Norwegian. This will be well to apply and to aid the body, being the line in which he is already engaged in building in various portions, for, as is seen, these may be added in whole or in part and built as special for special individuals and conditions.

17. (Q) Is the mental attitude of the body correct as to its association with people in its daily walk?

257-13 Page 4

(A) This has never been decided or corrected. These are very good. Do not apply self. Listen more.

18. (Q) What arrangement should the body make with members of its firm for the coming year, beginning July 1st? (A) Two propositions have been offered the entity as in regard to these, and the second proposition should be considered the more, though eventually the entity will accept the first, for they will be combined into one in the near future, by the end of the Mart.

19. (Q) What is the second proposition? (A) That of connection with the firm in a specific way and manner. Best to be taken in the general way as has been first outlined, for be necessary, we see, for some changes in the next three years.

20. (Q) Has the body the proper standing and respect of the members of the firm? What can he do to improve his standing and value to his firm? (A) Better keep what it has and improve that as he goes along. No corrections to be made. Do not overdo it!

21. (Q) Will his firm show him financial consideration without bringing up the point, or should he introduce the subject to them, when he feels it necessary? (A) They will present that, as we have given, at the beginning of this new consideration. Then it will be necessary, of course, to be presented. It will be brought by the firm, then the entity presents its own. Then be a second consideration, and to which they all agree.

22. (Q) What is his future with this particular firm? (A) That to be made himself, for, as has been seen and as has been outlined for the entity, there is entering into these conditions a great field, in which the entity itself, as well as the firm and those associates (and there are others that will be associated from time to time) - as this grows, and as this is advanced, then the entity, in the abilities of same, and in the ability to think and see the action done, will depend upon the entity's self, rather than of others.

23. (Q) What is the firm's future as to financial growth, during the next two years? (A) Better make it three, for they will be changed at the end of that time, when there will be the greater financial conditions for the firm. This change will be through some changes as to the scope of the territory, and of the character and kind of furniture as is to be put in on the various factories which are represented in this concern, see?

24. (Q) What definite plan should the body follow to

257-13 Page 5

introduce the firm's merchandise to the leading centers of the country? (A) Keep in that way in which it best presents and works out some of those ideas as perform and have been performed. Let them ferment and work out. They will work out!

25. (Q) Does the body know how to approach big buyers and can he close them? (A) He's doing very well. We would not make much correction in the present, except keep on keeping on.

26. (Q) Is the present policy of the firm the sort of policy that would be appreciated by big outlets? (A) As a whole, yes. Individuals, there may be exceptions. These exceptions must be over-ridden, see?

27. (Q) Should the body specialize on large dealers or responsible jobbers? (A) Takes both! Well that both be considered as they go along, for the outlets are not all centered in jobbers, neither are they all centered in large dealers, see? for, as is seen in the output of which this entity represents, these cover not one field, see? and there are various characters of fields, as is necessary, that when there are lean times in portions of the districts the others will take care of the conditions, see? These will not be handled much through one. While this is a day of specializing, it is also a day of generalizing AS specialists.

28. (Q) Should the body divide his attention between the regular Federal merchandise, or should he follow last year's policy and handle other factory lines as well? (A) These to be considered at the end of the Mart, rather than at present, depending upon the character of work in which the entity is to be wholly engaged in at the time, for this will begin about the first of August, see? Now then, the consideration as would be at that time would be general, as has been given - that while specialization is necessary, generalization must be done for the best interest of the concerns interested or known in the Federal Furniture Factories.

29. (Q) Has the entity followed the advice of this source to merit the respect and admiration of the treasurer of the firm? (A) He has.

30. (Q) What can the entity do to further the respect of the treasurer, whose ability and friendship he respects and appreciates? (A) Keep on.

31. (Q) What should the entity do in his actions toward the president of his firm? (A) Keep very much in the same way and manner in which the entity has outlined for itself and his action towards same

257-13 Page 6

in the last three or four months, yet do not be two-faced about it. Don't try to carry two baskets on each shoulder, or to carry two baskets one on each shoulder.

32. (Q) Has this entity's standing improved in the eyes of the president? (A) Considerable, I should say!

33. (Q) What causes the present attitude of the president to the entity? (A) These in self rather than anything else. Doesn't like to consider that he concedes anything.

34. (Q) Explain this more fully. (A) The president has given word, or has said, he didn't care for the entity's efforts. He does not like to concede that he was wrong. That's why the attitude. That is, as this: The president says one thing one day, and the actions go to prove the next that what he said was not true, see?

35. (Q) Will the plans of the Federal Furniture Factories for a big consolidation work out? (A) Work out.

36. (Q) Is there anything the entity can do to assist this to a quicker culmination? (A) No. Don't push a thing when its in its crux now, for, as we see, this combination will be consummated now in the next eight months, see? or less time.

37. (Q) What will the entity be in the culmination? (A) Vice-president.

38. (Q) Where should the entity use his efforts towards this end? (A) Spreading the gospel of the good tidings, as is found in the merchandise that the entity expects to dispose of to the various centers. As in this: There are certain policies that are only used, as might be said, by that combination in the Federal lines, see? This is gradually taking hold of the centers - distributors of furniture, see? It is also gradually working into the minds of many of factories that through such channels much better times may be had by these factories, see? and, as the combination of this comes to each, that's spreading the good tidings to both, see?

39. We are through for the present.
