1. GC: You will have before you [257], also the reading given on this body by Edgar Cayce the 5th of July, 1926, and you will continue with the [See 257-13] answering of the questions regarding same, as I ask them.
2. EC: Yes, we have the information as has been given. Also the body, the mind, [257], of Irving Furniture Factories, New York City, New York.
3. There are many changes in the physical conditions of the body since we had same, with that information as has been given. There is, with the full correction of the condition in the mouth, and with the teeth, that as would be necessary to destroy the condition as produced in the gums, by too much of the acids, as the entity has been warned of, and this we would find would respond to those conditions as have been given to be used for same. [Ipsab]
4. As for those conditions respecting the questions as have been asked, and the information as has been given in same, we find there are many of these conditions as given that have been shown to be the condition existent with the body, as related to the business associations and of conditions as would arise. There are others that are arising from time to time, and some that are giving some trouble to the body at the present time, especially some as regarding the associations of some others as are being considered for a change. Well that many of these be considered, for, as has been given, the entity should surround self with those to do the detail, while the greater portion of work may be handled in the entity's building, and the conditions as surround those of the expansion of the entity's labors, and the contemplated trip as is seen at present, this would be well, and the entity should consider more than one field of endeavor while in trip - that is, the general line and the specialist shall be considered in their various places and spheres. Do not mix, for oil does not mix well with water. Neither do the conditions as necessary to interest those who would act in the capacity of jobbers mix well, then, with

those of the larger department stores, and of the unified accounts in many places. Those, all, must be considered in their way and manner.
5. Ready for questions.
6. (Q) Should the body make the trip that is contemplated? (A) As just given.
7. (Q) Should the entity keep in close touch with other factories anticipating this consolidation? (A) Certainly.
8. (Q) Where should the entity use his efforts towards this end? (A) As given.
9. (Q) What new innovation or suggestion can the entity suggest to make him a prominent figure in the furniture industry? (A) Too great a field for the mind, even of the entity at present. Work out what he already has in hand. Don't get the cart before the horse, see?
10. (Q) Should the entity consider a consolidation between one of the wood working plants with a large radio concern? (A) This has practically been set in motion for the consolidation. Why change the plans as have been set, if they will work? They will!
11. (Q) What states should the entity attempt to make connections immediately for the sale of large quantities of merchandise for the firm? (A) Any or all of them. As many as can be covered in the reasonable length of time. Don't get too far from base of supplies. While demand may be made in many portions of the country, work well that in hand, and do not cover too much territory, until the expansion in the production end is equal to that of the consumer's end.
12. (Q) What are the prospects for business during the next six months? (A) For the next nine months it would be better to put, for we will find there will be a greater expansion in the Spring.
13. (Q) Should the entity keep his two brothers with the present organization, or place them elsewhere? [[4162] and [2653]] (A) Present organization at the present time. We will see there will be portions of the organization in which they may be added, to further good of the entity and for themselves later. Rather, then, one should be made specialty, one be made a general.
14. (Q) Should the body continue to make investigations in other branches of the business for the betterment of the firm, or should he tend strictly to selling? (A) Investigation in other ends keeps the entity in touch with many conditions wherein selling is well advanced also.
257-14 Page 3
Not too much, but keep well balanced in the production end, in the selling end, in the distribution, in its many various channels.
15. (Q) What errors have the body made that should be corrected in this direction? (A) Too much of self projected, rather than of the business, is the greater error.
16. (Q) What safe investment can the entity make in the near future that will bring in large returns quickly and with safety? (A) Too many of these may be considered at the present time. They might be more specific before we would give information of such nature, for there are many various conditions to be considered.
17. (Q) Is the entity handling the affairs of his family properly? (A) These are very good.
18. (Q) Is his policy in reference to them being established in New York the best for themselves and the body? (A) Best for selves and the body.
19. (Q) Should the body contemplate marriage within the next two years? [See 257-12, Par. 13-A.] (A) Might contemplate, but I would not succeed in doing it.
20. (Q) What should be the attitude of the body to the person with whom he is now corresponding? [903] Will she be the girl he marries? (A) That depends upon the entity.
21. (Q) Give advice to the body fully on this subject as to where the girl is, and when the body should marry. (A) When the body has made more of that settled stand for self, and others being considered, should the entity contemplate marriage. We should say it would be in two to four years.
22. (Q) What should the body consider when taking this step? (A) Too numerous to mention in one question.
23. (Q) What do the next two years hold for this body financially, and where? (A) That depends upon conditions. Too many variations to know. These as set, and those conditions as outlined for the entity to follow, and the ways and the means will be open for the financial success. Be sure that the physical is kept in that way and manner that it may enjoy the successes in the physical world, and forsake not the laws of the Fathers, nor that the laborers are worthy of the hire, nor that to whom the depending ones should give of those means to make the life the well-rounded life. Forget not that as has been given in: First know thyself, and make thy paths and thy life conform to the will of the Giver of all

good and perfect gifts. Forget not that as has been given as concerning him who would build larger barns for the successes of the worldly goods, when to him the Giver has said, "Thou fool, this night thy soul shall be required of thee." Consider well, then, those spiritual relations - not as they may be USED in social or business, but rather as the duty to the Creator.
24. We are through.
