1. GC: You will have before you the body and the enquiring mind of [257] of the Irving Furniture Factories, 206 Lexington Avenue, N.Y. City. You will give him advice for his physical, mental, spiritual and business success for 1928 - and show application of his numerical associations with his daily activity, and advise him specifically how to conduct his daily life. Then answer the questions which I will ask you.
2. EC: Yes, we have the body, the enquiring mind, [257] - this we have had here before, also those relations in the business ways and manners as respecting the body.
3. Now in the first, as respecting the physical conditions of this body - this first should be given due consideration, for should the body desire to function properly in business, social, moral, spiritual or financial relationships, the body should be kept physically fit. As has been given for the body, there is the possibility and probability - and under the strains through which the body subjugates self - to overtax same to the detriment, to the undoing, of those physical and material betterments of this individual. There is seen there has been the return of some conditions that have aforetime brought distresses to the better physical conditions, and unless care, precaution, and the proper administrations for the physical good of body are kept in more perfect accord, there may be other conditions arising that would be even more unsatisfactory.
4. We would give, then, this as medicinal properties to add to the system at this time, to bring the better physical reaction in the system (present). Take this, then, as a tonic, and as an assistant for creating of better conditions. Do not overtax the body physically or mentally for some time, and refrain from too much stimulants in the way of high seasoned foods or condiments - that would produce too much of a system under stress and strain, mentally and physically. First, to four (4) ounces of
257-26 Page 2
distilled water, add: Essence of lactated Pepsin................4 ounces, Tincture of Valerian....................1/2 ounce, Elixir Calisaya.........................1/2 ounce, Essence of Celerena, or of Celery.......1/4 ounce, Sassafras Root Oil, or oil of Sassafras..40 minims, Tincture Capsici..........................3 minims, Balsam of Tolu............................1 dram, cut in 1 1/2 ounces of alcohol - add this to solution.
5. Shake solution well together before the dose is taken, and be consistent and persistent in taking this whole quantity - teaspoonful in water (or plain) upon arising of morning, the same quantity just before retiring - and retire before twelve o'clock too! in evening, and keep plenty of water in the system. Be consistent with the diet in the manners as outlined. Do that for the physical. [4/7/29 See baby son's rdg. 759-2, Par. 12-A--18-A in re care of [257]'s health, how to keep down his weight, treatment for dandruff, etc.]
6. As to the numerical influence in the body, or for the body, during this present year - as has been given, Tuesday's and Saturday's - numerically are the better days for business, and for the days or numbers in the month, those as divisible by three, or the multiple of same. These are the better things to remember as respecting numbers; that the application of self with the foreknowledge of that as is an urge, or as astrologically or numerically speaking, ARE the better days or seasons, and upon such occasions may the entity wholly apply self in application of self's abilities.
7. In the various changes as are coming in the present year, first of all keep self more physically fit - would the better conditions be manifest for the body; for without this there must come those conditions that are not satisfactory. The first portion, or first half of the year, will be the more satisfactory in some, particularly the radio end of the business. Through the central or middle portion of year will be unsatisfactory. This especially through July, August, and portion of September. In the later portion, through, October, November, December, much better. These are indicated from conditions existent through which the entity is at present associated, though - as seen - may be changing by varying attitudes and conditions arising in various portions of the country through which the entity, or body, may operate. Ready for questions.
8. (Q) Reference bringing to successful termination the
257-26 Page 3
prophesies regarding [257] and his association with Federal Furniture Factories of N.Y. & Irving H. Isaacs Pres. & Ben Lauterstein Treasure, both of N.Y., & L. Francis Factory Supt., Asheville, N.C. - why have the owners failed to pay [257] his earned moneys? (A) Just for the same reason as has been outlined for the entity, time, time, and time again - that there are those elements entering in same, for the various reasons as have been given, and that may be forced and issues may be drawn by the entity, but that to draw such lines would not prove the best for the entity. While the policy of waiting may be irritating and unsatisfactory, yet it (the policy) is giving that training as is seen necessary, of that element even of the warning as has been given body respecting the health, the strength, the vitality, the abilities - and look how they have been heeded!
9. (Q) Give definite way and manner to bring about the meeting and what to say to them to bring a happy satisfaction, and friendly settlement. (A) Consider that as has JUST been given, and see within self if that would be the better policy, with that as has preceded and as has been given concerning the better way to handle these conditions. Then make it if so desired - then bear the consequences!
10. (Q) Has [257] progressed as he should have with the new developments? (A) Very good - satisfactory in many ways, though - from the purely financial standpoint - not as satisfactory as the entity feels SHOULD be. Do not be impatient, but with that same manner of activity as has been so often given to the body for its better development, work out that as is set before thee, and ONE at a time! Not that all ends, all consideration, may not be given, but it SHOULD be given for each condition as it arises, but do not rush - for fools rush in where wise men fear to tread.
11. (Q) What will be his future with the firm? (A) As outlined, as has been given, if proper conditions are adhered to, a member (and a valued member) of the firm - with the physical abilities to attend to that as is GIVEN for consideration, proper remunerations will be the NATURAL OUTCOME OF THE ASSOCIATIONS of the body with those as has been set forth!
12. (Q) Will he be successful in getting radio cabinet business from General Electric, and what is next move for him? (A) These, as has been given, are working out in the right way and manner; for, as given, more changes are to come - and do not insist on too much business until the changes HAVE come; for, as may be seen by the signs of the times, as
257-26 Page 4
it were, concerning radio development and radio management - as is seen from the various combinations as being formed - SHOULD be sufficient criterion for one interested in the development and in the gaining of business through the various channels, to see that there is at hand some change (and big change) in the way these are to be handled. Just keep, then, in that close touch - that's the move! Close touch - and in the proper graces! Doesn't mean buying, and it doesn't mean selling! but keeping in the proper graces with those that are in charge, in hand of the changes as are coming with the association of General Electric with the radio corporations.
13. (Q) Has he used good judgement in seeking and handling various situations with General Electric? (A) Very good - above the ordinary, and hence that as given - keep in touch. Keep in close association with the various ones and various channels through which the body has already labored and entered.
14. (Q) Will he get business from Westinghouse purchasing agent at Springfield, Mass? (A) A portion of the same - and comes under the same heading. Yes, we find SOME business - don't seek too much of it!
15. (Q) Should he begin to push Federal Brandes of Newark, N.J.? (A) Very good. Let 'em be sure that these are in that proper classification for their pushing and distribution.
16. (Q) Will the radio cabinet business be large volume for [257] in 1928? (A) Satisfactory.
17. (Q) How should he proceed to make it successful for benefit of factory and firm? (A) In the ways as have been outlined. To make the MOST successful, be the more careful for these changes that are to come. For why should there be stacks and stacks of cabinets for various styles, when these are to be changed entirely by the development in the manner of reception, and in the manner or way of the cabinet presentations? See?
18. (Q) What progress has body made with Francis of Asheville factory? (A) Very little, as yet.
19. (Q) Is Francis sincere in his desire to help [257] succeed? (A) That's the man - that causes much dissension in many various ways. These, as has been seen, have not been satisfactory; for, as has been given, too many are pulling at that individual. [257] may make self solid through some of the channels already opened. He may also bring much that will NOT prove satisfactory, by insisting in certain directions.
257-26 Page 5
As to those that the body, or [257] is to insist upon, and those directions not to insist upon - choose for SELF, for THESE are as that the body should understand self and self's ability, and not to - through information as may be given - move a man as but a pawn!
20. We are through for the present.
