Time of Reading 5:30 P. M. Eastern Standard Time. New York City.

1. GC: You will have before you the body and the enquiring mind of [257] ..., New York City, and his development - mental, physical and material - since his last reading. You will answer the following questions, as I ask them.

2. EC: We have the body, the enquiring mind, [257] - this we have had before.

3. There has been some change in the physical, mental and spiritual development of the body. These are, in the general, for the good. There are many conditions that are worrying, aggravating, fretting the body; yet these, would the body follow in that way as has been persistently given that the body should look toward self's application and the renumeration will be forthcoming - while true these seem to be unsatisfactory, and there seems that there is not the proper cooperation or understanding that there should be - viewed alone from the materialistic, or viewed alone from the individual standpoint, this may or may not be true - but viewed from the larger sense, the conditions will be made satisfactory.

4. Do not lose the temper and say things that the body will, or would, be sorry for. Rather consider what would be said to self were the conditions reversed. This, possibly the body would say at first hand, could not exist with positions reversed! yet, were the body to take stock of self, innately there will be seen that oft times have there been conditions when there was not so much in ACTION PHYSICALLY in the same direction, but thought, intent, and the DESIRE was put in motion, and the body reaping the fruits of that force, power, let loose in - would you say unguarded moment? No, but rather in the training, in the making, of one capable, with the abilities to handle not only small things but large things, large deals, large INDIVIDUALS in mental capacity! large undertakings as an executive. While this not the policy wholly, but the body was just a bit too PREMATURE in some of the things expressed to its associates - NOT superiors, no! ASSOCIATES, yet in the capacity of

257-34 Page 2

superiors, when it comes to the FINANCIAL end of the proposition.

5. Has the body adhered to those suggestions of using pressure through the banking interests, (or those who are to the associates subordinates) as respecting the usage of moneys in the expanding of business? No! Then follow THOSE in a consistent, not too persistent manner - unless genteelly and gentlemanly presented, and in a manner as the body would have such force, such power, exercised towards self were the conditions just reversed.

6. The business, the associates, the association, has been, is, and WILL be, too much worth while for the body to allow some unkind word, some slur, some LITTLENESS - in even subordinates - to bring to the mental forces of the body such a state as for the body to present the dues - yes, the justice of self's own associations, self's own position, in such a way as to destroy the work, the labor, the name, the position, the power; for the body - mentally, physically, materially, is gaining that position where it may soon BECOME a REAL power, even with and among his, its, their, associates and association.

7. Then, act in a way befitting the bigness, the realness, of the position the BODY - physically, mentally, claims or sets forth that the body occupies in a material, or in the manner of position WITHOUT the remuneration as is felt that should be given. This WILL be given. This is necessary, that often demands be made, which are unsatisfactory, but do not let these conditions worry. Do not MAGNIFY that which the body would overcome in self!

8. Ready for questions.

9. (Q) Is it advisable for me to organize the new company which I discussed with Lauterstein, in which I am to be a partner? (A) In the line as discussed, this a very good BASIS to work out - but not JUST as planned at the present time. This would be well, though, to organize.

10. (Q) How much stock should I receive? (A) That as would be classified in the exchange for services rendered. Let Lauterstein be the judge in this particular point, under the present state of mind. This may change, but under the present state of mind Lauterstein would make it sufficient.

11. (Q) What was the advantage of the meeting Sunday morning between Isaacs, Lauterstein and myself? (A) Quite a difference in the attitude when the various ones - or Lauterstein, or Isaacs - from under the influence of some other subordinates. The advantage is, that there is a more perfect understanding in sitting down quietly,

257-34 Page 3

gentlemanly, talking over the condition, than ranting or making threats, or making demands that cause threats from others.

12. (Q) What should I say to Lauterstein in reference the moneys which are due me for the past five years? (A) Continue to insist in the manner and way as has BEEN suggested time, time, and time again.

13. (Q) Does Lauterstein intend to pay this in full? (A) In full, as has been outlined. Not in full as the BODY sees it, but as Lauterstein will, and does, work same out - which will be justice, UNDER the present state of mind! This may change, but PRESENT STATE OF MIND!

14. (Q) How does Isaacs feel to me now? (A) Rather how does the body feel to Isaacs? It's reflected in Isaacs' thought of the body!

15. (Q) How does Lauterstein feel to me now? (A) As indicated by what has just been given!

16. (Q) What steps should I take following this condition at factory? (A) Just as has been outlined!

17. (Q) What damage was there to the factory? (A) Only those as has been stated. From the FACTORY, not here!

18. (Q) What time, considering all conditions, will it be safe for me to go to Asheville? (A) March 4th or 5th!

19. (Q) What should I be careful of during next nine months' business dealings and investments? (A) This too far ahead for the various things which the body intends and contemplates in. The body should be warned rather of too much anxiety and too much overtaxation of the body physically and mentally. Rather take thing easily, or rather take things conservatively for the next nine months.

20. We are through for the present.
