Time of Reading 8:30 A. M. Eastern Standard Time. St. Louis, Mo. (Body and enquiring mind - questions)
1. EC: Yes, we have the body, the enquiring mind [257] - this we have had before. We have also those conditions as surround the body at this time respecting those changes and conditions regarding the business which the body desires to procure. Ready for questions.
2. (Q) Should [257] remain in St. Louis through the 12th as informed, and what should he do yet? (A) There has been much accomplished by the contacts as have been made respecting the proposition in hand. While the attorneys, bankers, may declare it necessary that the other party be in the position of declaring self - and it IS necessary, for signature and sanction - yet through these very ones that the body has already talked with will this be consummated, or brought to the proper conclusion. Hence the stay is only necessary through that period when the body [257] is satisfied that there is a thorough understanding and agreement between those that may handle same and self.
3. (Q) What is Curran's opinion of [257]? and can he be expected to help in the matter? (A) We have no Curran - We have no Curran!
4. (Q) Was Mr. Hammett impressed with the Cayce information? and how does he feel on the points told him about? Can Hammett be trusted? (A) Hammett can be trusted in so far as it is of Hammett's interest!
5. (Q) Was he impressed with the Cayce information? (A) In so far as it interests, and may be of interest to Hammett!

7. (Q) What is the opinion that Hammett holds for [257]? (A) As given, through these channels there may come about the proper negotiations and the proper way in which this may

be handled. As for the opinion - these may change, and while at present - an interesting, and the conditions are such that they may be MADE to become worth while.
8. (Q) Should [257] see Holliday, who is the new attorney for Grove? (A) That dependent upon what the bankers' opinions are upon Hammett's advice?
9. (Q) What will be the result of the conference with Orr? (A) That depends upon the approach and upon the conditions through which the body may act. As has been given, easy is it to say too much. As the body recognizes - [257] we are speaking of - there are many interests to be considered in such an undertaking. Not an easy thing for such an undertaking to be moved entirely from out a district without causing a great deal of comment - moving out meaning, not the physical but the financial and the returns in many channels other than purely physical.
10. (Q) Should [257] submit proposition in writing as suggested by Hammett? (A) Don't put it in writing! until there is more declared. Let Hammett put that that he me DO in writing - then there will be more opportunity, for if he desires to put in writing - let him put HIS in writing!
11. (Q) Should [257] put proposition in writing as suggested by Orr? (A) If Orr will make a proposition, or counter proposition and include it in same, it may be - to Orr.
12. (Q) Did [257] handle business with Orr at the bank properly? (A) Very good.
13. (Q) Can he be depended upon for help further? (A) Provided there are enough promises made to Orr to make it worth while!
14. (Q) Has [257] seen everybody that he should? What should he do next? (A) Get in touch with Grove!
15. (Q) Personally? (A) Personally! Best to be approached socially. Go to the place where he is and then meet him!
16. (Q) By appointment, or just casually? (A) When it's socially, it must be casually!
17. (Q) Any further advice for [257] that will assist him at this time? (A) Follow this (and give it to him at once).
