There are some conditions as surround this association that have been called in question by some individuals, both as to other influences, other surroundings, as well as the associates of [257]; yet with this kept in the attitude and spirit of service as [257] has laid out, this will prove to be the more satisfactory way to handle this group and the associations with same.

4. (Q) Does his associate, Russell Davis, know what and how to do to be successful in the jobber trade of Atwater Kent in 1929? Advise as to the assistance as may be rendered one to another, for in union there is strength.

These, will the body but consider as has been oft considered, will make for self and for associates a better understanding, and a better association.

10. (Q) Should [257] insist on General Electric paying the amounts he has set down for the changes on cabinets? (A) Insist on the necessary amounts to meet the needs of the necessary expense in the changes as have been made in the various models. That is, here: Let's clarify this just a bit! There are, in the various changes, some that are not expensive - are actually saving in the long run, yet is a change in the machines of the factories. There are others that are expensive WITH such changes, where the changes involve an extra expense. DEMAND same! Show CAUSE for same! They'll pay it!

11. (Q) Will [257] be able to hold this business in 1930? (A) That's a long ways in advance. Many changes for various models and many new connections with [257] during this period. Will [257] WANT the business in 1930? In these changes there will be many conditions to be considered. So far as the PRESENT conditions and outlook, there appears there will be some split and change.
