1. GC: You will have before you the body and the enquiring mind of [257], present in this room, who desires guidance for the handling of his business affairs in order that he may be able to follow the physical advice given by the Forces and go away for a few weeks to Florida. We will ask for definite complete information on the Paris Medicine Company deal, and also the personal affairs as pertain to Federal Wood Products Co. and personal investments, and you will have his various associations, and conditions, and associates. You will answer the questions which we will ask regarding any of these.

2. EC: Yes, we have the enquiring mind, [257], and those associations and relations as regarding the business and deals through which various associations and contacts are made. These, in many phases, we heve had before. These conditions and variations, as everything, change - as there are definite outlooks upon the same conditions, bringing about the varied activities in the minds of individuals, and the varied responses as are made. These variations create circumstances, conditions, and changes.

3. As respecting the Paris Medicine, this also shows a change in individuals and their reaction to conditions as have arisen, and are to arise, as respecting same. As has been given, and as is sound and basic judgement, there are those channels through whom the body has conducted much of the negotiations. Remember that there has been given that another banker, also, would be in the picture before the settlement was made; yet those surrounding conditions are such that [257] needs only to hold that one in the moral sense responsible for the position he, [257], holds as respecting offers, or counter offers, as may be - or as WILL be made; for, remember also much of that as bonus depends upon the activities of that individual [Gen. McRoberts?] as what is bonus for himself, and he is NOT any more likely to cut himself than to cut [257]; but be mindful that the

General's word is his bond. Keep in that same relation as has been outlined, and do not consider even HE allowing OTHERS to come in, or to carry TO another a proposition, or to approach another unless at his OWN behest (the General's), in [257]'s favor; or in the same position as he now occupies, both with the Paris Medicine and with others who seek to hold the offices of same. The greater portion of the St. Louis offer is a hoax. Don't be too fearful of it, but CONSIDER it rather as being used as to see what may be accomplished as to the position held by those who hold papers. REMEMBER, the General is to furnish the money, and will be aided through others, that he himself may enjoy a portion of that bonus.

4. As to conditions as regarding [Carolina] Wood Products, these - too - are in the change; yet, as has been given, much of that as has been accomplished in the last few months (sixteen) is of the pioneering nature, and should not be charged wholly, other than in such a way and manner. Others should remember this in their actions and activities, and do not fear but what it IS considered.

5. In the branching out, or in the deals for those of the cabinets - these, as has been seen and given, show considerable falling off in various quarters. As has been given, time and time again, much CHANGE would come - and many changes have been SEEN - in the variations; and, as is seen, these take on more of a UNIFORM nature for the next eighteen to twenty-four MONTHS; then an entirely different change will gradually come about. They are made more in that proportion of furniture, or occupying a definite space or place. PERIODS are considered, as well as the VARIATIONS in the different conditions as arise. Remembering that such things are in the minds of those seeking for such, and while one may appeal for one character, another will be in the appeal for a different status, with the public in general; while the general OUTLOOK will be following along more definite or specific lines. Larger in some respects. Some showing less of the fancy, filigree or dressing up, and others more IN that direction to fill needs in certain quarters. Consider all of these.

6. As in relationship to the consideration for the health, that should be given FIRST place - rather than second. So, put self's house in order - for an ounce of prevention is worth many pounds of cure, often - and once on the down grade hard to pull up. Rather stay on the even keel, that there may be no listing to either this or that manner. Keep the skirts clean in business, also in the relations one to another. Ready for questions.

7. (Q) Will Kolster products of Newark be a profitable customer soon? (A) They should be!

8. (Q) Will they be safe to sell in 1930? (A) They will.

9. (Q) When is their stock a good purchase? (A) As speculative, rather in April or May. As a holding, wait until the policies are changed.

10. (Q) Why didn't [257] get order from Atwater Kent? (A) Price!

11. (Q) Should we change our price now, on Monday? (A) Rather hold the same price, but work like thunder for the next order and get more of it!

12. (Q) Will [257] be able to sell General Motors in Dayton, Ohio? (A) This was a lead given by the Forces. Keep on working at it! If you don't succeed at first, try it again! These - part of these have already been placed, but there should be a feeler, at least - and there will be, as we see at present - from this source.

13. (Q) Anything to be warned of to prevent errors? (A) No. He can handle it very good!

14. (Q) [257] and wife, Cayce and wife, plan vacation last week in January in Florida. Is this alright, considering everything? (A) Last two weeks would be better, or the second or third week would be better than the last!

15. (Q) Should the [257]'s take the baby [759] along? (A) They should!
