1. GC: You will have before you the body and the enquiring mind of [257], present in this room; also his business associations, personal affairs as concerning his family and associates, his financial affairs, and his physical body. You will answer the questions which we will ask you regarding all of these.
2. EC: We have the body, the enquiring mind, [257] - this we have had before.
3. In respect to the physical conditions of the body, these are very good in many ways - yet some of the warnings as have been given respecting overtaxation of the mental and physical without sufficient of the relaxations, would be well to be heeded, or else there must be the penalty paid for such, and these the body is aware of. Do that. Ready for questions.
4. (Q) What causes the annoyance in stomach? (A) Overtaxation and nervousness.
5. (Q) Does orange juice cause any of this condition? (A) At times it does.
6. (Q) What should body do in next 90 days for exercise and diet? (A) Perfect relaxation after the work, and work and play as well. These are the better through this period, and through any other period. When the body has finished the work, leave the work there - not carry it along in the mind continually! Do not shirk responsibilities. Be BIGGER THAN responsibilities. These the body could do by RELAXING sufficiently, so that when that as is necessary to be taken up, is ready for activity.
7. (Q) Should the body play golf? (A) Very good relaxation.
8. (Q) Is present treatment given twice monthly sufficient to save the hair? (A) Very good.
9. (Q) How often should body use vaseline on hair? (A) As has been given, twice a week.

10. (Q) What is future for [257] with Albert Pick Co? (A) This would involve considerable considerations of the changes as have been contemplated, of the associations of the body in various directions. As far as the consideration of the conditions as regarding the body itself, and the company in its PRESENT condition - these are very good, and is assured. With changes, these might be a different condition.
11. (Q) Is [257] making an advantageous step, moving offices to the Pick Building on Lafayette Street? (A) This has been set! Why ask the question? It's already been set!
12. (Q) Through whom can [257] best keep contact with Goldman Sachs? (A) With that introduction as would come through Isaacs.
13. (Q) Which is best member of Goldman Sachs to meet? (A) That one through whom Isaacs would have the body become associated with.
14. (Q) Should [257] be confidential with James Newman, his associate, of 419 Lafayette St., N.Y.C.? (A) SEMI so; not wholly - until the body is better acquainted with the surroundings, the conditions and the motive impulses of the body Newman.
15. (Q) How long will [257]'s associates, Isaacs and Lauterstein, remain with Albert Pick? (A) That depends upon circumstances. As we see it at present, it would be two years - possibly more; or, if some of the circumstances and conditions would change immediately, it would be only a few months.
16. (Q) How can Lauterstein account to firm for [257]'s past due commissions not being entered on books of Co? (A) That's with LAUTERSTEIN to account for; for they must be there!
17. (Q) Is this the time for [257] to urge his full settlement or wait, as Lauterstein suggests? (A) It's time for it to be accounted FOR! As for the settlement, that may be waited for - but let it be accounted for, and the proper entries made for same.
18. (Q) If Lauterstein leaves firm, is it best that [257] become his partner or remain in firm? (A) This may be best determined by the set-up that would be arranged between the two.
19. (Q) What plans has Lauterstein for [257] at present? (A) At present he HOPES to be able to carry him with him in the new changes, if the changes are to come about. These have not ben fully determined as yet.

21. (Q) Should [257] be confidential with Isaacs at this time? (A) He may.
22. (Q) Should [257] renew his contract with Ike Lande [Isaac Lande], attorney, as to his stocks - in order to get the June and July profits? (A) He should.
23. (Q) How long, if advisable? (A) June and July! It's just been asked for! That was given!
24. (Q) Goldman Sachs being owners in Sears & Albert Pick, should [257] discuss probable merger of his Wood Products division with them in May 1930? (A) He should.
25. (Q) Will Sears-Roebuck and Montgomery Ward merge this year? (A) No.
26. (Q) Should [257] see Ward bankers in May or June and suggest merger Radio division with Sears and Federal? (A) Be very well. Along about the middle of June.
27. (Q) Who would be the best man in N.Y. to see on this? (A) Those handling that division.
28. (Q) What stocks should [257] buy for big return in next two weeks? (A) These would be too questionable to say for two weeks, though there are many that may change - but these are rather questionable, for this has been outlined respecting this.
29. (Q) [257]'s will is in his hands. What changes should be made to properly and equitably handle all situations? (A) Wouldn't change it!
30. (Q) Reference Solon Turk, a young attorney helping my sister [459] to settle her estate, is he a worthy type of man for her to associate herself with? [See 459-1 on 12/28/29.] (A) Very good.
31. (Q) Has he great ability? (A) In some directions.
32. (Q) Would he be a man for her to be serious with? (A) In some channels, yes.
33. (Q) Would marriage with him be advisable? (A) No, not as yet.
34. (Q) Will [459] ..., my sister, be successful in the girls' camp work in Maine as an executive secretary? (A) She would.
35. (Q) Should [257] advise his sister to associate herself with Mr. and Mrs. Gorfinkle, the owners of the camp? (A) She should.

R.R., in the Northwest Arizona Gold Belt district - in the Thum Butte - does ore persist in depth? (A) Ore is prevalent in this vicinity, yes.
37. (Q) Does the ore carry commercial values at depth? (A) Certain lodes and leads do. Some of them do not.
38. (Q) What is the average width of ore? (A) These vary so MUCH, that they may not be given as average without going over a great deal of district. Some consist of leads, some in pockets and vary as to their activities; that is, as to their commercial valuation. This would be of commercial worth, though.
39. (Q) What is the average grade of ore? (A) Dependent upon - but [257] hasn't anything to do with these; so why give these from the outside! This is only speculative! Let this be set up, if we would give information concerning it that would be worth while! We are through with this portion of it!
40. (Q) What can [257] do during the summer to help the Cayce Hospital and Atlantic University development? [Work:EC] (A) Interest those who may be interested in this phase of the development; for there are both that have their own departments and their own phases of development. This may be done by personal contact, but leave off the commercial side!
41. (Q) How should he make use of, and get the interest of, Goldwasser [?], the secretary to the Foundation of which Mr. Lester Hofheimer is a member? [Nathan Hofheimer Foundation, Inc.] (A) Do not make use OF! Acquaint him OF the channel through which the foundation may be of aid, if in keeping with that being attempted BY the foundation. 43. (Q) What is the best advice that [257] can counsel [341] with? (A) First know self and self's own purposes, and that as is to be attained, knowing the ideal and work towards the ideal.
