1. [257]: You will have before you, [5597], an associate of [257], and [257]. When you have located these two bodies, [257] will ask you questions which you will give the information, slowly and distinctly, telling us for guidance of [257] and [5597], present in this room.
2. EC: Yes, we have the body, [257], present in this room, his associations, relationships. This we have had before. We have the body, [5597], present in this room, associations, relationships. These in their mental forces we have had in an association in a general relationship, we have many different associations and relationships between the two [See 257-66, Par. 83-A--86-A on 3/28/31]. Ready for questions.
3. (Q) Has [257] taken the proper stand and a just one as to his settlement with Lauterstein and the firm? (A) Dependent upon the point of view. As to just what [257] has taken the proper stand as has been outlined, as close as that outline is adhered to, will be the proper stand as we find.
4. (Q) Has he made a good selection in the lawyer, Chas. Riegelman? (A) Very good, as we find.
5. (Q) What advice should Riegelman have to represent [257] properly? (A) That that [257] may give him.
6. (Q) Should [257] work for a definite settlement in the form of a compromise or would it be possible to wait six months and get it? (A) Be better to work for a definite compromise. Six months in the conditions as surround everything pertaining to this associations or relationships of those involved might make a vast deal of difference, to be sure. To get that as a satisfactory basis that the mental body, the mental relationships and associations of the body would be definitely settled, then would be better to settle as soon and not wait. See?
7. (Q) Should Mr. Riegelman go to the banker, Gibson, and associates, or through Goldman Sachs first? (A) That should be decided by Riegelman as to their various

relationships. There are some that NEED the going through the one while there are conditions that apparently need going through the other channels; claims that are made in and for a settlement. Then the better manner would be for the body to make their [his] own decisions as to which is to be pressed the most. See?
8. (Q) Has Riegelman a good plan in mind? (A) These change as conditions develop.
9. (Q) How can [257] definitely prove that the factory arrangement was cost plus 10% on each cabinet? (A) From the agreement made.
10. (Q) Why does Lauterstein refuse to give this in writing? (A) Ask Lauterstein; not from here.
11. (Q) Should [257] take on new furniture factories at this time who will carry the accounts that the present firm refuses to accept? (A) Upon the advice of Riegelman you might put in without same, for do not jeopardize the whole situation or the conditions by doing that which it would not be in accord with the best interests of all concerned and the relationship as has existed.
12. (Q) In reference the refrigerator proposition is [257] justified in not going to the meetings until these other matters are settled? (A) Why, to be sure, there may be caused more of a moral difference by refusing to go on with those things that have been started under the relationships of all concerned, this only makes for barriers. Why should not that be settled along with the rest?
13. (Q) Mr. Riegelman requested that Lauterstein give a letter stating that [257] would not need give his whole time to Federal and Lauterstein refused to sign. Is this the proper attitude? (A) Very good attitude for one side but not a very good attitude for the other. The conditions and the circumstances as surround same have been or are understood. Then whether these are given or whether these are not given, they are held then as a portion of that that may force an issue in a direction. [Miss Sidelman's note: At this point, the cloth fell on Mr. Cayce (his etheric body?) and he was unable to speak further, and he was then suggested to wake up.]
