Time of Reading 4:30 P. M. Eastern Standard Time. New York City. (Body & enquiring mind - questions regarding mental & material affairs)
1. EC: We have the body, the enquiring mind, [257], present in this room - this we have had before. Ready for questions.
2. (Q) Is there a safe speculation to yield big returns in next three weeks for benefit of Cayce and I? (A) For the next three weeks - for the next three months - there will be more unsettled condition in speculative, or speculation, than there even has been in the last two years. While there are - and will be - some very decided changes, these will be so SUDDEN that it would be a REAL speculation. Rails offer the safest, though the slowest, of any of stocks.
3. (Q) Should I make any changes in list of stocks in hand? (A) These are very good in list. We wouldn't change, as we find.
4. (Q) Why do I have feeling of distrust for Ben Lauterstein, when even the reading advises continued association? (A) That feeling comes from insecurity of present experiences, and - as has been given - well for the association, for the development of the body mentally, and for the meeting - as it were - of karma.
5. (Q) What should I do now as to future association with Lauterstein? (A) There are some associations and connections that have been made that will be well, and would be well to continue in, until there is at least the working out of the propositions. As we find, this would be well for an association, so long as kept in the manner in which has been outlined, for it will not only make for a development in the body as to watchful waiting, as it were, but will make for the abilities - not the sharp practices, but the abilities as to many of those conditions as HAVE been - and are apparent - in and with the association.
6. (Q) With Boskey [Meyer Boskey], the attorney? (A) This has been, as oft before, rather the matter of the
257-73 Page 2
warnings as respecting that association, and would be well that this be watched very closely, that there do not arise those conditions that would in any way tie the body in such a way as to prevent the activities in the way desired by self.
7. (Q) In other words, should I control everything myself, that I am in with them? (A) As has been given, this should be - but the associations are well for the developing of the business acumen for the body, but not the sharp practices.
8. (Q) Should Lauterstein and Boskey be included in the manufacturing of Midget Maid? (A) That has been set, or it is understood that they are to be included in a way and manner. We would not have the association in any GREATER extent than that that is already understood!
9. (Q) Why Boskey's attitude of not wanting to sign agreements he enters into? (A) That's the sharp practice of the man himself!
10. (Q) What is the real attitude and purpose of Lauterstein to my future association with him? (A) Very much in the manner as the body presents self when alone in conversation as respecting the activities of both. This may be as an illustration of that condition as exists: To the body Lauterstein, [257] is as the right hand. Why would the desire be to be associated? How would one like to do without the right hand! Just as the activities then are, while there may oft be that there are those grudges as may present themselves, those attitudes wherein seemingly there are still underhanded things, this is as that that will make for the body [257] to be more on the lookout, more alert in the activities, more positive and more sure in the end of things.
11. (Q) What should I say to Lauterstein in reference to the past due indebtedness when new propositions come up, and profits are to be divided? (A) As has been given, there should STILL be held that as an overhang, or overlap, as it might be, that until these are settled in an equitable and agreeable manner to all, then the the larger share, the larger holdings, MUST remain in [257]'s control.
12. (Q) What should I do now in reference to Cayce Hospital dissolution? [Work:EC] [See 254-57 Reports.] (A) That, as seen, has been done. There should be the surety of self as respecting that as was given as the RELEASING of self from any indebtedness as respecting same.
13. (Q) What attorney should I use for that purpose?
257-73 Page 3
(A) One that's well acquainted with the whole situation.
14. (Q) Better Norfolk or New York? (A) It is incurred in Virginia, in Princess Anne County. Better use one in Virginia, or in Norfolk.
15. (Q) Is it right to use the same lawyer, Parsons [Lester Parsons], that is being used for the Association? [A.R.E.] (A) Or some one of the firm - there's many in that!
16. (Q) Will I be held liable to the Building & Loan Ass'n if I do not file suit against [900] and [137]'s to release me from my obligation on the notes on the hospital? (A) There WOULD be, unless there is a change of attitude as to what they would do respecting same! for the Contract Company is made a party to suit! Hence they should be put on notice that that is not held good as an individual, see? [See 257-61 & Reports.]
17. (Q) Where can I get profitable business to keep Federal Wood Products Corporation going for next sixth months? (A) We would still go back to government!
18. (Q) What branch of government? (A) Either that in the Post Office department or in the Customs Building.

Those of the regular lines in the various departments of same. These may STILL be carried on in their regular channels.

23. (Q) What should I do to aid my attorneys collect my money due from Albert Pick and associates? (A) These are working out very slowly in the various channels and the various ways that have been set. We would follow along those same lines.
24. (Q) Is there any way I can upset the original sale of assets of the Sterling Furniture stores and regain several millions on accounts? (A) That has been set in motion through some channels, that
257-73 Page 4
if followed up - as we find - may TIE it up, and eventually upset the whole conditions.
25. (Q) What basis have I for making claim against Federal Wood Products Corp.? (A) Only on the original, or on the contracts as exist.

29. (Q) Should Mrs. [310] of ..., Ala., be agent for Pittsburgh Chemical products, for their mutual profit? (A) This may depend upon the necessities or the needs in the directions. This MAY be made as one AIDING in making the connection for same, rather than being an agent! [See 310-4 Reports.]
30. (Q) Should [1963] [my father-in-law] move to N.Y. to represent or connect with Pittsburgh Chemical Corp.? (A) This would be, as we find, very well - for the associations should be both beneficial and helpful to all concerned.
31. (Q) Is there any other business that would be better for him? (A) This would be well, as we find, and would be one of the best.
32. (Q) How can I be certain to get Westinghouse Refrigerator order for Gibson factory in October? (A) Just keep on working in the same direction, and in the same line as has been set in motion!
33. (Q) Who is proper and best man in Pittsburgh for me to see to assure me of the business? (A) In the same line, or same channel in which the operations, or the starting of the order has been in.
34. (Q) Will Charles Gibson keep all his promises to me? (A) Unless there's some unseen sources of things to upset conditions, he would.
35. (Q) How much money will my first order with Westinghouse amount to? (A) Considerable sums!
36. (Q) As much as a million?
257-73 Page 5

41. (Q) And make the merger also? (A) And make the merger.
42. (Q) Why don't I get General Motors business? (A) The basis, or changes that have come in the policies of those through whom, or to whom orders go, has made a variation in the General Motors orders. These, as we find, may be overcome now WITH the changes that have come about, or will come about with changes in the delivery, or the manner or way of delivery - see?

[See 348-7, Par. R7.]
67. (Q) Is Pittsburgh Chemical organized properly? (A) This would require a great deal of detail to look over and to see as to whether it's organized properly! Best to set out as to what the variations or reactions from each! There are some parts of the organization that may cause question.
