Time of Reading 10:15 to 10:50 A. M. Eastern Standard Time. New York City. (Body & enquiring mind, advice, counsel & guidance as to all phases)
1. EC: Yes, we have the body, the enquiring mind, [257], and those conditions that surround his life, physical, mental and material. Ready for questions.
2. (Q) Please check my general physical condition, giving the cause & remedy for pain around my heart. (A) The general physical conditions are very good in many respects. It has been given that the body should not use self's strength in the physical and mental to such extents as to make for such great strains upon the physical body. Those conditions that have disturbed the body are rather warnings than organic disorders, and are the outcome of poor digestion, improper eating, not taking time to be in the position or condition for digestion to take place in a normal way and manner; hence making for strain on the digestive system and producing those intercoastal and secondary cardiac reactions as to bring some disturbance. There is no need to be unduly alarmed about such conditions, but BE sufficiently alarmed to take care of the body mentally and physically! BE consistent in the eating. Eat at regular times. It has been given that it would be well for the time, the activities, to be budgeted in such a way and manner as to give the proper reactions for the whole system. Have regular hours for arising; as regularly as possible for the relaxations; as regularly as possible for retiring. Have regular periods for the relaxation as to walks, as to physical exercise, as to mental relaxations, thinking of other conditions - either those that deal with general conditions of the country, associations with others; regular time for some reading, whether newspaper, magazine, books, plays or the like, and regular periods for the activity of meditation. These will make for a much more evenly balanced attitude for the body.

3. (Q) Advise me on Finance Plan which is under consideration between Truscon, C.I.T. & [257] Corp. What are its defects? (A) As indicated, the proposed contract that is arranged in the present will be satisfactory for the beginning of the operations in the present. When the distributions or the progress of operations have reached such proportions as to demand or require a greater latitude in the operations, the present proposed basis will be equitable way or manner to proceed. Then, under the existent conditions we would make those arrangements in this way and manner. Inasmuch as it has already been agreed upon, follow along. The amounts that are in the present ratio, or up to this amount - 250,000 - is sufficient in the immediate, see?
4. (Q) How can it be strengthened? (A) It's already set! The strengthening will be required when it has reached greater proportions, or when there is the necessity for other expansions.
5. (Q) What will I now be able to accomplish thru its adoption? (A) As soon as these are clarified, and there has been sufficient of the papers or advertising, or set-up (as it may be best termed), then there only needs to be made those contacts, those groups through whom and by whom the distributions of the products may be necessary.
6. (Q) Is the amt. limited to 250,000 guarantee a danger to the business, or what effect will it have? (A) Will be required, just as has been given! When the proportions have reached such that it is necessary for extensions, then this may be changed or strengthened - see?
7. (Q) Please discuss the next program for me to get quickest business, to insure broadest profits. (A) Follow those leads that that have already been made in the grouping of individuals' operations in apartments, hotels, and the various channels through which these distributions may be made; as well as following those that require more of the associations with departments and department distribution.
8. (Q) Should I do anything at present to aid in getting Stewart-Warner business of Chicago, or can [1565] handle this? (A) As we find, unless there arise some unforeseen situations that would make [1565] feel the necessity of [257]'s presence it may be best handled by [1565] without interference. Should such situations arise that [1565] feels it IS necessary, then it would be well to aid in the directions that may be made for such emergencies.
9. (Q) Considering political changes, to whom should I go first to endeavor to get government business?
257-96 Page 3
(A) As given, through those channels that made for the distribution to those various quarters that are being strengthened and re-furnished throughout the country. This comes through the general quartermaster supervision. Those individuals that have been in contact will aid, if the body will make those contacts in such a manner as to come through their regular channels in the manners that is required in making or giving specifications and prices for the furnishing of such equipment to the reconstructions in the various portions of the country. While the prices would require that there be made some definite cuts, the very fact that such was supplied to these various divisions in their various quarters would enable the body to have a background that would be very valuable to the further distribution in many quarters.
10. (Q) Thru what individual will I be able to get proper guidance? (A) the same that has been given! We haven't changed it; neither have they lost their job or been changed!
11. (Q) Is this the time to sell Mr. Odlum, who controls the Carolina Wood Prod. Co., to negotiate a deal for the factory, or should I devote entire time to refrigeration? (A) As contract calls for, the greater portion and the entire time should for the present be devoted to refrigeration; and as conditions arise regarding this factory or this negotiation, there will be in some months a much better opportunity through a different channel that would make for much more satisfactory conditions, should this even THEN be decided upon. Devote the time to refrigeration; for, as it has oft been given, the dividing of self in its interests oftentimes works hardships that are not only unsatisfactory but leave too great an impression that self is so MUCH divided as to be unstable in the operations. Self is attempting to build now for self in manner known in one particular field. While self has been an outstanding figure in the radio field, this has been so disturbed - and is yet to be disturbed, until many changes come about in the manner of the policies, the manner of the character of reception sets - that it would be unwise for self to INTEREST self in such a way and manner as to divide the interests from something that requires now so much attention to be gotten on the proper basis!
12. (Q) What opportunities, if any, will the court decision on radio corp. dissolution bring me? (A) Better leave it out just at present, as signified. There may be later some conditions so this may be made to be helpful to the body; but get that which is the line now FIRST SET!

13. (Q) Is it advisable to buy the stock of Radio Corp? (A) Not right now.
14. (Q) Which stock would be advisable? (A) None!
15. (Q) What will be the trend of the market for the next 18 weeks? (A) This has been outlined before, and we do not find a great deal of change; not advances that are not of too great a speculative nature for one, unless they are to make that their business!
16. (Q) Reference Paris Medicine Co., considering change in Kuhn-Loeb & Co., would I be safe in seeing Elisha Walker & discussing a plan for its purchase or sale? (Q) Be very good.
17. (Q) Thru what channel should I go to get proper introduction to Walker? (A) It's already been laid out; go on through, if it's going to be determined in that way and manner!
18. (Q) Will Gen. McRoberts be able to get an offer from Mr. Richie of Canada? (A) He will be able to open negotiations. As to whether the offer is to be made depends upon a great many changes that are to be considered between now and the first or latter part of January.
19. (Q) Who else should I see at once to get renewed interest in the medicine deal? (A) That has been one of the great troubles; TOO MANY have been bickering and NONE have been approached in a manner that is to be considered as a closed proposition! Take one lead and follow it to an end; and then if you throw this down take another one! Don't open too many negotiations! The time to play one against another is when you are close to a closing!
20. (Q) Who is best man to see to get an inside to State of N.Y. business, on refrigeration & water coolers? (A) Go right through he comptroller's office in Albany; or, as will be seen, it would be best through those acting in the capacity under Lehman - lieutenant governor - elect.
21. (Q) To City of N.Y. (A) This would be very dangerous business in the present situations, but after these are clarified somewhat - after the first of the year - then there may be the opening through those regular channels that handle the buying or the placing of the various equipments. Go through the regular channels. Do not climb over or around any of these, for the regular channels - in these changes that are being made - will be considered and be given the better and first

consideration at this time.
22. (Q) What system or plan most adaptable for immediate results? (A) As indicated, apartment and hotel equipments; not losing sight of those various channels that have been indicated from time to time.
23. (Q) Please advise next move on [3734] suit? (A) Best to follow that indicated, in making the settlement if possible in that direction; otherwise follow the suggestions first given in CLEARING self of the whole situation.
24. (Q) Please advise me on a comprehensive plan for the successful organization of a Cayce Club in N.Y. to lay before the N.Y. people contacted this week, such as Harry Goetz, Wm. Cravis, David Levy, Ernest Zentgraf, Maurice Pereles, Morris Rome, Thos. Sugrue & others. (A) This should be organized as a group or organization for study of the various phases of phenomena that may be set or selected by the various groups in same. Have their regular secretary, whose business is to look after the various portions or departments of same, and to obtain and to give such instructions or enlightenment on the various conditions that may be presented from time to time.
25. (Q) Who else for first meeting will play important role? (A) That depends upon who else is approached, and HOW! There are the various ones. These should be opened, and it should be someone's business to look after it, see? to look after the collections, look after the various correspondence, the various distribution, the various activities as may be had.
26. (Q) Which one of those just named would be best for this? (A) Neither one! Should be someone whose job it is, and their only job! Someone interested; someone that at least has some tact, some ability in knowing how to contact and how to keep before each one that necessary in their various departments. It has a purpose, it has a place in the experience of all of these. To arouse that which may be helpful, that may aid other individuals, would be the work of the group. Meetings once a month, at some definite place; oftener when the circumstances or conditions require, or it is needed. Do that. Any one of these may be the chief- executive of the group, but we would have one that would give their whole time to the activities of the whole work - see - secretary! [1/13/33 & 1/16/33 See 2733-2 & 2733-3 in re Mrs. [2733]'s fitness for taking chg. of the N.Y. office of EC's work.]
27. (Q) Advise me as to my present budgeting of my time, laying out a daily plan until Jan. 1st.
257-96 Page 6
(A) This has been given.
28. (Q) Any further advice for the body at this time? (A) Be mindful that all which has been given thee, in the various approaches to that information which may be helpful, must be considered as one; for Life, Life's experiences are as a chain, and is no stronger or weaker than the weakest link. So, in the development for the mental, for the material, for the spiritual welfare, for those secular things of life, remember all depend one upon the other in this material plane. That one builds through their mental attitudes, their mental and physical activities towards the spiritual truths, deals with the spiritual life and is a portion of the physical and material.
