Time of Reading 6:15 to 6:50 P. M. Eastern Standard Time. N.Y.C. (Body & enquiring mind. Please review his visit to Chicago and tell him what the results will be from his contacts and associations; also advise him as to his next moves and as to his health; informing him as to further protection. Questions.)

1. EC: Yes, we have the body, the enquiring mind, those conditions and circumstances that have confronted and do confront the body at this time, [257].

2. As to the physical forces of the body, these in many respects are much more satisfactory than when we last had same here. Still, the body is not entirely rid of the congestion nor the tendency for the hepatic circulation to still cause uneasiness, loss of appetite, and inability to function nominally in relation to the eliminations of the system; producing a feeling of a "flush" and of temperature, dull mean headaches at times, burning in the eyes, dryness in the throat, pains in the shoulder, neck and head, and still some of that disorder which arises from the collection of refuse forces in the soft tissue and muco-membranes of the throat and head.

3. We find that the better applications in the present would be the more mindfulness that there are less and less acids and acid-producing diets, and more of those things that will stimulate the activity of the liver and hepatic circulation BY the alkalin condition in the system. Not those things that are so much as purgatives, but such as Upjohn's Citrocarbonates once or twice a day will be very beneficial to the body - if the foods are kept more alkalin. The dosage would be a heaping teaspoonful in a tumbler, or six to eight ounces of water.

4. Also we find that the sweats and rubs will still be MOST beneficial.

5. We would do that.

6. As to reviewing those conditions in and about the activities of the body on the recent visit to Chicago, this

257-131 Page 2

of itself might require a great deal of analysis for the correct interpretation of same to be of real value to the body. But in a general manner, we find:

7. There have been connections made, the outcomes of which will work to the advantage of the body - if they are kept alive and the body does not get too anxious about the outcomes.

8. Because there have been disappointments in not being able to place orders in certain quarters (notably in Ward's) should not discourage the body in the immediate conditions. We would let the circumstances only be an incentive for making the proper connections that will enable the body to succeed, as the circumstances justify the placing of other orders that will naturally arise - from some confusions in the present association of this organization.

9. The associations with Warner we would leave rather in the hands of those with whom the body is making the contact for the activities in this direction.

10. We find that the attempt should not be made in the immediate to press collections, where the body feels that there might be commissions due for the associations and connections made already. But there are still needed the connections and associations in the various states as we have indicated to the body in the past, and had these indications been kept somewhat nearer in touch with - that as the body might accomplish in this connection with Ungerleider and associations - they would have proven very profitable to the body by this time. Then, through making such connections may not only the present needs be met but such an association made that there may be quite a satisfactory income from such; the various states and the various characters of activities, as to how states or various individuals of states are making the associations and connections for the shipments of the products that to the body are necessary for the activities in these directions - through making such connections, what is desired and finding same. See?

11. As to those associations in the radio activity, and those that the body has contemplated in the East, through Westinghouse, these would be the connections that would be the most valuable for the body to press at this time.

12. When there have been those associations made as given, the body should go in person with others from the Carolina associations to Washington for the express purpose of making such a connection through the proper channels to induce the activity in that direction. For, as we have given, unless these can be positively shown the activities that would

257-131 Page 3

ensue by the opening of such a plant, for sufficient number of individuals who have been and are dependent upon other offices of the National forces and activities, then there can be little expected to be accomplished - unless a greater amount of the initial capital is to be shown from some other direction. But as indicated for the body, through the channels as indicated there should be the ability to show that such an activity will take care of sufficient of those in the immediate territory for it to be considered worth while. Then the voice of self and associates will enable those in such offices and capacities to supply such funds in the right direction.

13. Ready for questions.

14. (Q) Is there anything or any proposition within my reach that I can turn at once into a closed deal to earn money enough to cover immediate needs, or any new idea for me to handle? (A) Just as indicated. Make such associations as desired with Ungerleider, for those portions felt by the body can make the opening wedge, see? making the connections with states, groups and individuals that are at this time placing orders within this very association and connection. And these, as we find, will be the channels through which the IMMEDIATE needs may be supplied. The body should only review that given in this connection, as to the various states and the manners in which the product is to be handled; these should be studied, and the needs and their requirements met by the activities of the body through those channels which may supply the product.

15. (Q) Will I get an order from Mrs. Alice Hasterbeck of 115-119 W. Grand Street, Chicago? What is further necessary to do? (A) As we find, this is quite questionable. While it has been in a manner promised, there has also been some chiseling in on the prices - and some associations in other connec- tions in this particular instance; such that we find it would not go through, unless there can be the attitude overcome - not with price or price "fixing" but with the SERVICE that may be given - and then this may be handled. And through those channels that the body has indicated would attend to and care for this activity, would the pressure be brought.

16. (Q) How can I help Carl T. Mason to be successful in selling to Stewart-Warner and other accounts? (A) Best to leave very much as he is, and only aid in making the associations and connections in the right centers and channels for this activity. This is most in reference

257-131 Page 4

to the Warner. And make it so in the other connections also. ENCOURAGE one another. Do not lose faith in SELF, for if faith is lost in self and self's abilities to accomplish, then there is already defeat staring thee in the face! This would be true for every individual. Becoming discouraged only lessens the capacities of individuals to become aware of that consciousness of the divine forces and divine rights that may be sought by each individual, if it is doing that which enables it to look its Savior, its guide, its Lord in the face and say, "I have done my best."

17. (Q) Should I introduce Oscar Landstrom, Pres. of Landstrom Furniture Co. of Rockford, Ill., to Gilbert Morris of Asheville, to aid in refinancing and re-opening Carolina Wood Products Co., or work solely through Gilbert Morris as started? (A) Be very good associations, for making not only the proper connections but for carrying out the very things we have indicated again and again are necessary! Why, O why, dost thou NOT consider all the things that have been given! It was given thee that it is necessary for those people in the immediate vicinity of Ashville to INDICATE, by activity of power and force IN NUMBERS, as to what the advantages would be to the district. It'll have its influence! And unless this can be shown, it appears too much as personal axes to grind.

18. (Q) What day and date should I meet Morris at Washington? (A) Soon after the day that those things as told the body are necessary have been done and are in hand; not only from individuals, the populace, the citizenry, but the fact that those in charge of this particular district DO NOT interfere. Don't try to override the regular channels. Short cuts are seldom satisfactory. Do RIGHT, through the regular channels; for these have been set. The WAYS have been shown thee. It requires time, patience and persistence, but the stronger rock is worn away by persistence in the right direction.

19. (Q) Should I talk to Harvey Gibson, 55 Broad St., N.Y.C., about going to Jesse Jones again? (A) Provided those things necessary are set in order. To go without these being provided for makes self and associates appear as overanxious, and selfish in the motives of approach.

20. (Q) When and how shall he be approached, considering the fact the government does not want to open closed plants? (A) Because of this very fact the conditions and how to overcome them have been pointed out to the body; as to how it was necessary to get those conditions set so that the opening and the activities would fulfill the very offices of

257-131 Page 5

much that has gone towards expenditures for activities in this immediate vicinity that are only temporary; while if the factory is allowed to become active it will make for a permanent recuperation in all lines in this vicinity. And without such an approach, as we have given from the beginning, little hope may be expected in this direction.

21. (Q) Considering all my interests, when will I be able to feel safe in having a definite income? (A) When the immediate conditions may be met as indicated, and when other activities have been set in such a motion as to bring in the very actions those things that will stabilize the associations and connections.

22. (Q) What will the contract between Elliman & myself, with Jack Solomon of 1718 Suite, 203 N. Wabash, Chicago, mean in the liquor business? (A) This depends upon HOW same is applied in the light of those things that were GIVEN the body respecting the various issues and conditions to be met in many of the territories gradually being opened. And these extend yet, as is seen, some for fifteen and thirty and ninety and a hundred and twenty days, and some a year yet. All of these should be carried forward properly and the situations studied (which should have been done months ago) and solved for those in these particular lines of endeavor. As to how much the contract will mean depends upon how well these conditions are solved for the various peoples and activities!

23. (Q) Will Elliman & I be successful in selling "Kings Reserve" and "Kings Choice" Scotch Whiskey in the U.S.A.? (A) If carried in the proper way and manner, yes.

24. (Q) Will I be able to claim my commission on liquor bought by Sam Ungerleider of 21 West St., N.Y., from Bronfman Bros., distillers of Canada? (A) As indicated in this particular field and activity in the IMMEDIATE future - now - it is not to be claimed without other work done and associations made. This has been given, and should be reviewed. And if the body will do these, in TWENTY DAYS he will have money - plenty of it! DO IT!

25. (Q) Will I be able to sell Westinghouse at Springfield in 1934 Radio Cabinets? (A) As indicated, this would be the line in these directions, to be carried on - if this portion of the activity is to be considered in the present.

26. (Q) Why have I had such a hard time getting back on my feet & carrying out my plans, since I've only the greatest desire to use the gifts of God for the good of my close friends & relatives? (A) Because there has not been the proper consideration of

257-131 Page 6

those warnings and policies that should have been pursued by the body in its connection with the various endeavors that have been pointed out for the body. This should be considered much in this way and manner: If there is a policy assumed or decided upon by a body - ANY character of policy - and then only halfheartedly carried forward, can it succeed? Unless the policy eventually rides over everything, it can't EVER wholly succeed. Choose the policy! As thou wilt choose that thou would present in the face of every condition that may come into thine experience. Then work THAT policy! Do not overburden self with a lot of prospects that are so far off that they only portend PROVIDED that certain conditions arise. But keep going!
