Time of Reading 7:50 to 8:25 A. M. Eastern Standard Time. N.Y.C. (Body & enquiring mind, in regard to his mental and material affairs. Questions.)
1. EC: Yes, we have the body, the enquiring mind, [257]; this we have had before, with those conditions mental and material that have and do become problems in the experience of the entity at this time.
2. Ready for questions.
3. (Q) What is the significance of dream I had Sat. night, regarding some big fine green beans on the sidewalk. Sam Ungerleider asked me to get a bag to put some in to take home. I went and tried everywhere, finally got a bag and saw Mr. Tompers, Jonas' partner, who said: "Take this name and this man will help you with Asheville factory." (A) In dreams, visions and experiences, each individual soul passes through or reviews or sees as from a different attitude those experiences of its own activities. And these are, in dreams or visions, as emblematical conditions in the experience of that soul-entity. At others we may find the activity of the body-physical regarding the diet or the activities in any experience of the mental body. This, as we find, is rather the vision, indicating the reviewing of the body-mind and its associations in and through the material things that it is passing in the present. This indicates first the activity in which the body has been in its body-mind trained or active in. The changing with individuals as the associations that may come about, but require that the activities of self be put into motion to profit through those associations, and in a manner that is as a container is indicated necessary to be found by the body. The associations in the bank and with the factory, that as of how through these varied activities there may come about the associations leading to that in that direction of activity.

Then, this is as an emblematical condition of the experiences through which the body-mind is passing in the present. In making the application of same, then, these must be - as seen in the dream - sought out by self. One leading in a natural step from one to the other. As to what is to be accomplished, that self will not be bound save as in a manner that gives the body-mind and the whole of the entity's activity to act as it is inclined through the associations.
4. (Q) Has my life's work changed from what the past 10 years have laid out, according to my Life Reading? [257-10.] (A) As we find, it has not materially changed as yet. The time is not full. That there may be other associations, other connections, has been indicated, as to how the body might apply self in such a way as to make for the greater associations, or greater diversity of associations. As we find, however, the life's work will remain in the greater part in those things that make for what is termed success in those associations that have been indicated in the past.
5.(Q) Just what field is best for this period of 10 yrs. labor and work? (A) In that position as to being one to bring about the associations of individuals and groups as related to the activities of others, or in the relationship either of the - not distributor himself, but as representing distributors of the various activities in those lines.
6. (Q) What plan will be quickest and safest for my best interest to work now? (A) That in which the activity of Morris is to carry on in his own way; for, as he has not given his whole consent in himself for others to meddle in HIS way of working this out, then let him have it and work it out in that way and manner!
7. (Q) As to Asheville wood working plant, of the following plans which is best to develop: To go thru N.Y. office of Federal Reserve and lay out a plan and submit, just as if they had jurisdiction, and when they say it is okay submit thru Carolina agency. 2. Since Carolina Wood Product Co. is a Delaware corp., submit thru the Eastern Division. 3. Go thru Mr. Perry Osborne of 21st floor, 48 Wall St., Redmond & Co., and work out a straight financial plan. 4. Let Morris work out alone his own way, with assistance of Mr. Henry Steffens of Asheville? 5. Have David Goldman, Vice Pres. of Pacific Eastern Co., of 8th floor #1 Exchange P1., Jersey City, N.J., work a plan to operate and open the factory.
8. (Q) As to plan Morris and I have been working on with Perry Osborne, as to refunding bonds of the City of

Asheville considering the Mayor of Asheville, County Commissioner, Gilbert Morris, Banker and all the rest of my associates, will I be able to carry it all out and how best to proceed now? (A) Proceed through those same channels that have heretofore financed the bonds of the City of Asheville, or through Perry and his associated.
9. (Q) Considering Mr. Henry George, Vice-Pres. of Metropolitan Life Ins. Co., with whom Morris and I met in his office, 1st floor #1 Madision Ave., N.Y., what is best manner and means to put this deal over without cash? (A) As we find, this will be better if attempted through the other associations than with the Metropolitan, for these will not under the present considerations or conditions of the Metropolitan, and the financial situation and condition that has existed with the City and the activities there. Hence will be better, though a portion of this may be accorded to this very organization.
10. (Q) What price for bonds necessary to pay? (A) Four's.
11. (Q) As to Distillers & Brewers proposition, I am to meet with Abe Ungerleider and Lon Starke in their offices at #20 Exchange P1., Jersey City, this week. Can I now make a success of the liquor business, even tho I have delayed in following advice of the Forces so far - (A) Make the success in any of those activities, provided the self is not bound by the activities so that only the relationships are such that these are for the whole time, but there should be allowed time for the other associations and the abilities to make connections under a certain given time and activity.
12. (Q) If advisable to go on liquor deal now, what places should be quickest returns for big business for James E. Clark Distilling Co., which is part of Distillers & Brewers? (A) In any of those portions that have been outlined, and - as we find - these are the only manners in which there may be - and, as seen and given - are gradually being filled up, but will require the activities being in such ways as to carry on immediately.
13. (Q) What is best selling plan for me? (A) Directly!
14. (Q) What kind of contact best for my future success, if liquor deal is advised? (A) These have already been made, and are being made, as for those associations. This must be decided within self.
15. (Q) Ralph Jonas of 115 B'way, asked me to handle the new screen which they are financing. How can I avoid going
257-136 Page 4
into this and keep friendship of Jonas at same time, as I feel I am spreading myself too much? (A) Then, place same with any of those associations that may handle this through the same sort of channel as self would be directing same.
16. Q) Considering fall is here, conditions with me and of the country, what should I put entire effort to in Sept. for my certain financial success and mental happiness, and advise how to proceed? (A) Whiskey business.
17. (Q) Since Chas. Wasner of the Foreign Vintage Co. of 31st floor, Radio City, 30 Rockefeller Place, N.Y., has resigned from Standard Oil Co., and is now in position to consummate deal with Geo. Trommer of Apt. 32-G, Waldorf-Astoria, Tower Apts., N.Y.C., to purchase part of Trommer Brewery - how should I now proceed to reopen the matter? (A) Through those same associations and channels in which it has been approached by those who are in the position of being in the closer associations even than self has been, and with this and through these associations these may be brought to such an activity that will be worth while. But don't confuse self and get confused as to which one you are selling for!
18. (Q) When is best time to approach Trommer again? (A) These shall be carried on through the manner as formerly indicated for the activities in this direction.
19. (Q) How much will be required to purchase 1/2 interest in Trommer plant by Wasner, so I will know how to plan the merger and deal? (A) This has already been worked out.
20. (Q) What will be best day and month to again see Trommer and get his full attention and cooperation? (A) Don't forget who you are selling for! Have you gone to selling for Trommer, or are you selling for the Foreign Vintages, or working with the same sort of associations with others? Best be handled through the individual and self be only connected with same in the minor capacity. Let [426] handle the deal!
21. (Q) As to Asheville, which is most beneficial plan for me to work, entire financing outside of Gov. channels or partly both? (A) As indicated, best be carried on through Morris and his plan and way of carrying it on! And keep self in readiness for the handling of any of the activities, provided these are made in the way and manner satisfactory for self.
22. (Q) Please analyze my development, mentally, spiritually and materially during past 3 mos. and advise me
257-136 Page 5
what best now to do to further improve my ability and approach to further my general equilibrium? (A) As has so oft been given, find self and analyze what prompts the impulses in the various directions of activity. Not alone have these been, nor should anyone's activity alone be - for the IMMEDIATE alone, or for the sustenance even of life as physical alone, but rather know that the self must be guided by that which is ever constructive in the experiences of all who are being guided, aided or contacted through each activity. For unless same is ever constructive in each phase of the activity it must eventually turn and rend thee. Look into thine whole seven-eight years of associations and see what has been the prompting formula of thine own self in thine associations. To follow the lead, to be guided by the lead, or has it been for self-exaltation that there might be boastfulness here, there, or in this manner, or that self might be exalted in some position irrespective of who was affected by those activities in other directions? Then, as ye know that like begets like, as ye know what seed ye sow ye will reap the fruit of that sown; for men do not gather figs from thistles nor grapes from briars.
23. (Q) As to my physical welfare, what is necessary now to do to further aid this? (A) Keep an even, normal balance in diet of body, diet of mind, and the use and associations of same in every way; for as a man thinketh in his heart (not as he speaks, but as he thinketh in his heart) so is he. So, keep the body fit, keep the mind fit. Do not allow little antagonisms of body OR mind to undo that thou hast builded in thine experience.
24. (Q) Shall I continue Atomidine? (A) Occasionally.
25. (Q) How many more treatments from Reilly are necessary, and what type? (A) How many more times are you going to do much of that you've been doing? Depends upon how many times you are inconsistent with what you eat and what you do; because you'll need a treatment each time!
26. (Q) Should I continue Citro-Carbonate? (A) When necessary.
27. (Q) What exercise best for next 6 weeks. (A) Walking.
28. (Q) Any other advice for the body at this time? (A) Study to show thyself approved unto the Creative Influences that guide and direct thee to keep thyself CLEAN in body, in mind.
29. We are through.
