1. EC: Yes - two o'clock - we have the enquiring mind, [257]; this we have had before, and those conditions and circumstances that are the experience of the body at this time.

2. Ready for questions.

3. (Q) Reference the advice that [257] should make a contract with Sam Ungerleider, [257] followed the approach and did the work. Please advise what happened that changed Sam Ungerleider's word, once he had given it to [257] and Jack Eisman that the deal was closed and all the atty. would have to do is draw the papers. (A) If the body [257] will refer to the former information given him respecting the associations and the approaches to Ungerleider, there will be seen much of the experience that has come to pass. That the papers were to be drawn, that to [257] the deal or contract was made, should be the evidences not only of the warnings in the first approach but in that given respecting Eisman and [257], and Ungerleider, that there should be as given then - that if Ungerleider, [257] and Eisman were to be associated each must draw his own position in such measures and manners that there might be no misunderstanding. From much that has gone before take a warning. There has been given oft that the measure ye mete is measured. And oft the body [257] has been in the position as being misrepresented in the associations with this, that or the other deal. These should all, in their proper place, in their proper sphere, be analyzed; and there will be seen much that would be worth while in the experience of the mind, the body of [257]. Then, the question is: What has caused this apparent change of attitudes on the

257-138 Page 2

part of the individuals in this particular deal? Not that there is the unfriendliness, but the fear on the part of Ungerleider of the associations becoming too broadly spread in the activities through the voice of [257]. For the policies, the attitudes towards the activities of these are very far apart, as we have indicated. It will then require time and understanding and relationships in such manners as to bring about a closer relationship, if these are ever to be in the way of being amiable or worth while.

4. (Q) What can [257] do now to make something out of the situation for his benefit? (A) Only through the association with Eisman, that the effort was on the part of both and that each should share in the immediate situation.

5. (Q) Will the Ungerleider firm be successful with the plans as outlined to [257] and Eisman? (A) If these are, as we find, altered (as they were in part); or if there is the basis of a successful operation necessity will demand some alterations in the developments of the plans.

6. (Q) Which member of the family should [257] counsel with to get the consideration that he feels he deserves? (A) As seen and known, all look to Sam in the final analyses of the situations. Then, IN the manner as first given should the approach and the association and connections be made with this body by [257] for the more amicable and amiable situations. And, as given, this requires time; will require the right sort of activity that makes for the creating of the air of responsibility, of ability to meet situations in all of their phases, and to show self ([257]) as being reliable in EVERY sense, and able to keep counsel and to keep the word without any show of passing on to others in ANY manner.

7. (Q) Who is the one party that [257] will have to straighten out, if he expects to work with them? (A) As given. No straightening out; just make the situation amicable.

8. (Q) What will be necessary for the firm to get in cash to be successful as [257] has in mind? (A) As indicated.

9. (Q) Should [257] attempt any association between the Ungerleider firm and the Mission Dry Co. of 11 W. 42nd St., etc.? (A) This will depend upon being able to show self as being in the position, from every angle and sense and phase, as we have indicated with Ungerleider.

10. (Q) Will [257] be better off working with Mission alone?

257-138 Page 3

(A) This AGAIN depends upon the situations that have been given. Either they must be localized or centralized or concentrated on the efforts in one direction as individuals, each sharing one with the other and then dependent one upon the other in the manner formerly indicated, or BETTER that they work alone. If it isn't possible for [257] to MAKE self - as it were - in a manner indispensable to Ungerleider and associates, then best to work alone, or with those individuals whom [257] has been told again and again that they are a balance one for another - [257] and [426].

11. (Q) What association can be valuable between Eisman and [257] since he has the present arrangement with Ungerleider as arranged by [257]? (A) This has been given before and here iterated, that they - [257] - Eisman - can form an agreement with one another as a pact, and as in regular order, that they work TOGETHER; though they may be working on different propositions, see? If this cannot be made entirely satisfactory - now this is outside of Ungerleider; this is Eisman and [257] ... ENTIRELY satisfactory - to both - than work alone!

12. (Q) Does Sam Ungerleider feel any obligation to [257] in the Eisman matter since he changed his word to [257]? (A) This is in part a "feeling out" of [257] as to his adaptability and dependability in the associations; as he does - as these are his tactics. As to the obligation, it is not as an obligation - as business as business associations and business tactics - choosing the way that to them, to Ungerleider, is the better, the more economical, and the more far-reaching. Hence the necessity of [257], not as to good graces but as to abilities and qualifications in meeting the situations. This isn't selling sticks of wood, nor metal and wood; this is an entirely different condition - dealing with different characters, individuals that think from a different basis!

13. (Q) What should [257]'s next move be to Ungerleider? (A) First analyze all that has been given through these sources; correlate same with the situations as they have developed step by step; then consider within self as to whether it is worthy or worth the trial, the attempt, to make the effort, or is it the better for self's own interests, self's own way or method or policy of doing and associating in business and in business relations, to make the effort to make the grade, as it were, for qualifying - and then choose.

257-138 Page 4

For, as has been said and oft given, unless an association can be and is wholehearted one with another, knowing and being able to depend upon one another in every situation that may arise, it CANNOT be EVER made a congenial or a developing or growing or worth while situation.

14. (Q) Please advise [257] as you did years ago in the Albert Pick-Federal matter, what he should do step by step to again be successful in this field. (A) As given and outlined here, and given again: First take all those situations that confront the body from every angle, and after analyzing them, comparing self and self's abilities, self's qualifications, the qualifications, the tactics and the policies of those with whom the body would associate, and who would be the better. Then work and PAY that necessary in effort, time, endeavor, to make the connections in such a manner as to meet every situation.

15. (Q) Will [257] be able to close a deal with Mr. Perry Osborn for an association? (A) (Interrupting) This will depend upon [257]'s doing as has been indicated here. IS such an association and connection DESIRABLE above all others? If this is the decision, after the whole analysis of the tactics, policies and manners of the individual in EVERY angle, then MAKE of self such an one - in whatever the needs and qualifications are - to MEET those. As to whether he can, to be sure he can if he will meet these. Is it the most desirable of ALL? That should be the question first, and that should be answered within self - rather than through such information as here - as to which is the best, which is the better to be sought in the associations of self.

16. (Q) What can [257] do for Osborn to prove his worth and ability? (A) As stated. It isn't the desire on the part of Osborn, Ungerleider or any ASSOCIATE of this nature to be shown, other than the abilities, the qualifications, the straightforwardness and the ability to CARRY ON! How may this be shown? Not by bragging about what HAS been done, but MEETING the situations - if these connections are the most desirable of all!

17. (Q) What will [257]'s next move be on the Asheville Bond refunding to show Osborn how he works? (A) It has been given in the whole situation as to what point the situation is at this time. Then make the move necessary to follow those instructions that have been given respecting the Bond situation, showing self familiar (if familiar, and if not don't pretend to be!), meeting the associations and connections necessary; show self to be in the position to make those contacts - if it IS true within

257-138 Page 5

self. Don't OVERSELL self, as sometimes the body does!

18. (Q) Mr. Joe Murphy - 6th floor Federal Reserve Bldg. - (A) (Interrupting) We haven't him, but we have [257] and his associations!

19. (Q) (Continuing) has given [257] advice how to obtain the loan - (A) (Interrupting) Then follow it!

20. (Q) (Continuing) Can Murphy work it out for me as he advises? (A) Doesn't he rather advise something that [257] is to do respecting what [257] has said that he knows, and whom he knows, and who he can go to? Isn't there something for [257] rather than Murphy? If [257] does so and so, then Murphy can work it! Accept it, if you can do it! If you can't, ACKNOWLEDGE that you can't.

21. (Q) Considering all the facts and new conditions, will whiskey still be the quickest returns for [257] in view of present circumstances? (A) This depends upon the decisions that are made by [257] respecting the various connections that are asked about. But when it is asked about the various ones, and for the best in this, how can it be best in Bond and in whiskey at the same time? Which can be used or made to make the quickest return? The one that is in the position to be made the more active in the more IMMEDIATE future!

22. (Q) Wherein did he err, and advise him how to correct if err he did? (A) As has been indicated and given!

23. (Q) What will be the outcome of the [257] - Bronfman negotiations for commissions due [257] on the sale of liquor - (A) (Interrupting) Carry this on out, but let it be in the same sort of attitudes. There CANNOT be - as [257] KNOWS (or should know) - fighting a man and trying to work with him, trying to introduce him to give self a show - and at the same time fighting! Either collect one or settle, get out and change, or DO those things necessary to show self active! What is the outcome? What is the decision of [257]? [257]'s mind in respect to the various things changes as oft as Ungerleider's or Bronfman's! Then, which is to be considered as even a basis for specific or certain activity? [257] is seeking - then [257] must set an IDEAL way and manner, and not be wishy-washy about what his intentions or desires are!

24. (Q) Reference an association with Edward Whalen - (A) (Interrupting) Again, here we find - as [257] sees - he is working with an individual who is already associated with associates that [257] is attempting to make connections and associations with, and [257] should be and is aware that

257-138 Page 6

all of these negotiations or activities go immediately back to the Chief and to those whom the body has attempted to make associations! These only make confusions. Either separate self and work with individuals, or work with the Chief!

25. (Q) Please interpret the dream, a copy of which I hold in my hands. [GC held copy of dream in her hand as written out by Mr. [257] on 9/11/34: "We have a lot of beautiful cars, some look like street cars and some buses and some carriages. There are 5-6 of us, and we start to clean them outside. I get a lot of rags and soap and furnish my friends with clean, lovely bathrobes to cover their clothes. I, too, am assisting, and when I go to cleaning I take as my car one in a corner, and all of a sudden, a wasp comes out of a quiet nest, just one, and attacks me. I call and call but no one seems to hear me, and finally one of the boys rushes over and aids me to defend myself - just in time to save me from a terrible stinging, as I seem to be caught in a corner. Please tell me which associate whom I've done business with, or am doing with, represents the wasp."] (A) First the body should analyze in self that which is - as given the body oft - the basis from which the activities of the mental self are given, whether from the activities of associations and their relationships with same, of from activities of things within the body as may be correlated with the body. The BODY may analyze same, interpret same, BETTER; for it can do it better for its own activity than were it done by the most wonderful of all interpreters. And so may it be given to all. Save when there are those periods when there is the seeking as of the King even into the courts of the prison for those that may be raised within the effort to those positions of affluence for the carrying out of those things that are necessary; then these show themselves in their relationships even as then. So in this vision, analyze self and self's relationships and how these are given; for these are as basic truths: From the spiritual or divine there may come dreams or visions that show that the higher forces are in association, or desirous of warning or aiding individuals in their activities, or they may - through the very indiscretions of the body-mind - come from influences that are in the activity with the body's assimilation, making for a connection with the activities of the body mentally and physically; and thus are as warnings respecting the physical body, dealing not at all with those activities in the material or the mental or the spiritual welfare of the

257-138 Page 7

individual. THESE the body, as each has been given, should analyze for himself. If it be from the higher forces it will be shown thee again, even THREE TIMES - then the interpretation maybe given.

26. (Q) Any further advice for [257] at this time? (A) Take the time, [257], to analyze all that has been given. Thou art capable, thou art trustworthy, but thine activities oft to those in authority or in power belie these very conditions in THEIR own analysis of thy efforts. Why? Thou art unstable, then to the extent that thou presentest not the same character of front, the same character of dependability, the same character of activity; but as those of your underhand tactics in going in and enquiring in through the back door oft. "Not by might nor by power, but by my spirit, saith the Lord of hosts," may those that make pretentions to enter in at the straight gate and go in the straight and narrow way, that would ask or seek of demand of the spirit of truth for aid. Don't blind self, for the way is opened - the Lord is nigh unto thee. Thou alone oft block thy vision of Him and what He would do with thee.
