1. GC: Please give the body a review and suggestions concerning the material situation as concerns himself and associations, especially as to the American Furniture Co., the [994] Co., and the Brunswick Co., and answer the questions on these subjects as well as the physical body. After you have advised on the above generally, please answer the questions.

2. EC: Yes - we have the body, the enquiring mind, [257]; this we have had before.

3. As to general conditions as related to self and associations, in general we find conditions in the furniture line as a whole will be greatly improved between now and the spring market.

4. It would then behoove the body and associates, in connection with the products of the American Furniture Company, to press activities especially in those lines of the refurnishing of homes, apartments and the like.

5. These - as with the specialty line in same, with the occasional pieces - will be found to be those that are to have the greater movements.

6. In associations or connections of the body with the [994] brothers or company, here we find the situations a little different, owing to the needs for expansions in some directions. As we find, the connections are being greater and better cemented, and there needs to be kept rather the close association with the president of the organization for the assurance of the carrying on in the activities in the present considerations.

7. As to the Brunswick organization or corporation - these activities of course require a cooperation with other organizations that in a manner depend upon the activities of the associates of [257], and the general selling channels through which these are distributed.

8. Then, there needs be kept that activity not as of buying the place or position but to make such cooperation with the

257-200 Page 2

manufacturers of the period connections or plans as to keep all in accord and in the direction that has been and is gradually being taken.

9. The greater activities or movements as we find will be in the fields that have been indicated of the period programs or pieces, or the connections between the preparations for the outlet of same in more than one way or manner. These are to be kept in the fore-front in all of the connections being made, through which as yet there has been rather the lead as it were.

10. In varied sections, or in sections throughout the country, it will be found that there will be greater demands for certain characters or periods. This will at times, with the manufacturers, make something of a confusion. Then, this is to be kept in abeyance by the necessity of the cooperation and coordination of all portions, not only of the channels or outlets through which the distribution is to go but as to the amounts and the characters. And for the fall and the spring trade these are to be pressed or hurried SLOWLY in the present activities.

11. As to the physical aspects of the body - here, as indicated, there needs to be rather the precautions in these directions indicated. The specific activities or disturbances that arise are to be met in the manners that have been indicated.

12. Make and keep rather this as the consideration: When there is to be any application for ANY disturbance or disturbing factor within the physical body, in whatever channel that there is the need for assimilation, know as to whether those balances are being kept as to what have been indicated as being the weaknesses or inclinations for disturbance in portions of the body.

13. These done, we will find not only will the body (mentally) gain a better knowledge of how it may care for self but as to how to advise and counsel with those who have disturbances in their own experiences.

14. Ready for questions.

15. (Q) Should I continue injections to stop the hemorrhoids, or to dry them up? (A) As we find, that consideration should be taken in the same sequence as we have indicated for the body. Understand and know what these injections are to act upon, or what they are supposed to do - and if the tests of the blood indicate that such may be accomplished under the existent conditions of same. If these are to be followed, then know as to whether those administering same are they themselves experimenting or acting from experience. If they do not

257-200 Page 3

know and give expression for a consideration of such as has been indicated, you may know they don't know their business any too well! Then don't do it with THEM!

16. (Q) Will Tim cure or dry up these hemorrhoids without any other action? (A) Consistently used, it will not only remove the cause but remove the hemorrhoids.

17. (Q) Could Tim be put up in a suppository form to make it easier to handle? (A) It could be put up BETTER in the injecting tube than in the suppository.

18. (Q) How far up are the hemorrhoids, in inches? (A) Inch and a half.

19. (Q) Should I apply Tim with the finger now, from the jar? (A) Very well, or better still use with a tube as for an enema or the like.

20. (Q) How is that done? (A) It is put in the tube and on the tube, and then injected and then pressed out.

21. (Q) Should the body take the calcium or Calcios now? (A) Calcios is calcium. This would be well to take, at least once a week.

22. (Q) How often should the Tim be used? (A) After each stool, and occasionally use in the tube when necessary.

23. (Q) Is it good for the system to soften the stool with a salts which I am now using? Carlsbad Salts? (A) The use of the Eno Salts would be preferable. Here is the variation: Eno is a vegetable or fruit salts, while Carlsbad is a mineral - and hence active more upon the upper portion of the duodenum and through the upper portion of the jejunum in creating a great quantity of the lymph circulation. And read or study that which we have indicated, as to what takes place with the lymph in the activities of assimilation. The fruit salts would be the better, and occasionally an oil.

24. (Q) What oil is best to take? (A) Usoline or Russian White Oil.

25. (Q) Does that have any effect in causing the pain on my left side? (A) No cause for this save the condition in the colon, in the descending or a portion of the transverse and descending. Hence, as indicated, there are the needs of taking professionally at times the colonic irrigations for the removal of all forms of fecal forces through the colon area.

257-200 Page 4

26. (Q) I have this pain every morning. How often should the colonic irrigations be taken? (A) Once a month; and if the Eno is taken almost every day - and the oil occasionally - we won't have the pain.

27. (Q) What will stop the blood immediately which shows up so much? (A) This is in greater part a reflex from the strain or the diet. But this must be gradually taken care of, where there have been the cuttings or the puncturing of the inclinations for the tubular conditions in the rectal area.

28. (Q) Does the blood come from the lower part where I can reach with my finger? (A) Only from those portions.

29. (Q) Will the Tim also have the desired effect to stop the blood? (A) Tim will stop it if it is used properly! But to use the Tim and then disregard the diet is not very good common sense!

30. (Q) What meats am I allowed to eat? (A) Preferably fish, fowl, lamb.

31. (Q) What vegetables, especially? (A) ANY of the vegetables if they are well prepared, preferably in their own juices.

32. (Q) Asparagus or cabbage detrimental? (A) The red cabbage is not detrimental. Asparagus is not so good.

33. (Q) Raw tomatoes? (A) Raw tomatoes are well.

34. (Q) Canned? (A) Canned tomatoes are well.

35. (Q) What cereals should I eat? (A) Any of those just so they are not taken with citrus fruit juices at the same meal. Cooked cereal - Maltex. Dry cereals - either Toasties or Puffed Wheat or Rice or Corn.

36. (Q) Is the system affected by Grape Nuts? in this condition? (A) Unless well masticated, these are not very well.

37. (Q) What bread is best for the body? (A) Whole wheat or combination of the wheat and rye.

38. (Q) Corn cakes alright to eat? (A) Corn cakes are very well, but do not eat cane or sorgham syrup. Honey or such natures would be the better.

39. (Q) Is golf a good exercise for me to indulge in? (A) Still a good exercise. It has been given oft.

40. (Q) How often should I play? (A) At least once a week.

41. (Q) Is exercise such as bicycle riding recommended? (A) Bicycle riding is not so well considering the

257-200 Page 5

condition. Walking is better. There's no exercise better than walking or rowing or golfing!

42. (Q) Is there anything the body should take to keep the blood up while taking this treatment? (A) Codiron would be very well to take about three times a week; one tablet with the meal.

43. (Q) Should any of the patented vitamins be taken? (A) If you take Codiron you'll have all of 'em!

44. (Q) In reference the Brunswick Company: What plan can [257] work immediately to get the attention and cooperation of the Columbia Broadcasting Co., who have bought the Brunswick Record Co.? (A) As we find, the best of these will be where there is the re-furnishing or re-activity; that is, for the quick trade; of any of the station organizations of the Columbia Broadcast.

45. (Q) Is there anything [257] can work out with the Williamsburg corporation as to reproducing furniture with radio in it? (A) If there is the ability to get the attention of trustees of such a corporation, through those in charge of the activities in Williamsburg, this may be well worked out advantageously; not only through that channel but through any of those channels through which all of the activities of such an organization operate.

46. (Q) Is Upshaw, Wood or Nelson Rockefeller the best to go to? (A) All of these are a part of the same, see? This will appeal to Wood as something to be gained by self, so not so well. Upshaw - we would find it would appeal to his common sense. Rockefeller - we find it should appeal to his own personality. Upshaw is the one then to handle it.

47. (Q) Should I do this in writing as suggested by Upshaw? (A) Should be done in writing.

48. (Q) When will be the best time to present this? (A) Whenever this is feasible or possible or plausible, or the sooner the better. Of course, if there is the ability through the present line to follow the lines of something similar or close to the colonial activities in the occasional table or especially the circular table or drum this would be the type, or such as these.

49. (Q) Would it be better to work through the [994] Company or the Kittinger? The latter have the contract at present. (A) As we find, owing to the whole situation - while it will not be as going over the Kittinger Company, it will be better to hold to your own associations in the [994]. For this would be a means of rather a cementing of a closer

257-200 Page 6

cooperation in many of the channels. Not necessarily that the Kittinger Company be entirely eliminated, but better carry through the [994].

50. (Q) Reference [bro-in-law [1565]], my associate, how can he improve the sales plan? (A) As indicated, there are certain sections with which he is acquainted in which the appeal is to certain periods more than others. Stress those in those particular areas, see? Just as in the southwest for the periods of the early settling; while through Virginia, West Virginia, Kentucky, the Carolinas, Georgia, the colonial; while the eastern or New England section will have - while colonial, of a little different nature or type, going more to the Duncan Pfyfe; while the other goes more to the pyramids or the build up of the colonial idea. Then press these and impress that these are as things that indicate the trend of mind, the trend of the conditions at the time. It will be found that there will be at least a ten to twenty percent advance in the sales.

51. (Q) Reference the salesmen themselves: With whom will we have the better success, the specialty radio salesmen such as Middleman at Pittsburgh or the regular furniture salesmen such as [994] has been using for years? (A) Such as [994] has been using for years, provided there is the stress made that there will be the needs of turning to such as the other, unless there is greater stress and activity. These are the variations: There are in sections, as indicated by the Pittsburgh area, specialties that are in the nature of supplying certain characters or types of individuals, see? While there are those that have been builded by long standing, a prestige that the specialty hinders rather than aids.

52. (Q) As to N.Y. City itself: Should [257] endeavor, with all of his other duties, to sell direct to the stores himself, or have Ben Stevens or A. H. Mayers to call on the trade instead? using [257] as an assistant? (A) Using [257] as assistance will be the most plausible. This will require, in some conditions and under some circumstances, a greater effort on the part of [257], but will relieve him of many of the stressing conditions and aid in giving the body [257] a greater scope of activity.

53. (Q) Will Carl Maesel be a valuable assistant to [257]? (A) If you keep him in the right territory!

54. (Q) In N.Y. territory? (A) Better get him in Jersey, rather than in New York; or

257-200 Page 7

rather the outlying portions of New York would be better than closer in - or the departments or specialty or stores of that nature.

55. (Q) Will he be of more value in radio or furniture itself? (A) Radio, we would give.

56. (Q) Who would be best to assist [257] in the handling of the American furniture line in N.Y. City? (A) Some of those that already have been in activity there - any of those.

57. (Q) Any special one you would recommend? (A) We would stress all of them that are in the activity! Stevens would be very well - there is a Stevens!

58. (Q) As to the relations between [994] and [257], is [994] thoroughly satisfied with the integrity and honesty of purpose of [257]? (A) This is very well. As indicated, there are those factors to be considered - that there is to be stressed and held and kept the cooperation in all phases and fields of activity in these directions. This is a connection that must be kept.

59. We are through for the present. Copy to Self " " Ass'n file
