Time of Reading 3:40 to 4:10 P. M. Eastern War Time. ..., N.Y.
1. GC: You will have before you the life existence in the earth plane of [257], born April 22, 1893, in Lexington, Ky., and the earthly existence of this entity during the American Revolution as the aide to General Howe. You will give a biographical life of the entity in that day and plane of earthly existence, from entrance - and how - into the earth's plane, and the entity's departure, giving the development or retarding points in such an existence; with special emphasis upon present associations with those now in the United States armed services. You will answer the questions, as I ask them:
2. EC: Yes, we have the records here of that entity now known as or called [257].
3. In analyzing the activities of the entity through those experiences in the earth, as the aide to General Howe - the entity then was in the name Cedric O'Halloran (and at times still calls himself, "the Irish.")
4. The entity then was Irish but in the service of the English land. In those periods when there was the commissioning of the activities of General Howe in the American land, the entity became the aide; assisting in keeping open supply as well as in the activities in connection with the armies in Quebec and Montreal, as well as in the eastern portion of the American land.
5. As to the developments or retardments - only those activities that have been indicated, where the questions ever arise in the experience as to the entity's choice, as to why and how certain choices are made in regard to individual activities.
6. The entity was rather close in those activities with the British army, though felt the questions that were ever in the mind of the General as to the campaigns and the activities in that period of the struggle of a people for self-government.
7. Thus the entity, with those conclusions - in that period of eighty-one ('81) - soon began its activities in the land

of its adoption; keeping in the trading in commodities that were to supply the foods as well as materials - or as a general tradesman; not only in the new land but with those things that had to do with the gradual establishing of trade relations with France and England, especially, and the other lands.
8. These as we find brought the entity into a period of activity that became more or less prominent in certain circles of such activities.
9. Then, these are the outlines of the entity's action in that period.
10. Ready for questions.
11. (Q) For the benefit of the present war effort, please advise me as to previous associations with the following officers, and urges to be met in the present: First, in Ordinance Manufacturing - General Campbell? (A) A subordinate in the activities with those who succeeded Howe in those periods. Thus that which is to be builded - though the entity and the entity Campbell were just acquainted in that period. Campbell was then under Clinton.
12. (Q) General Hayes? (A) We do not find an association. This, then, will be builded on its own principles - or that which is as an influence from other periods of association.
13. (Q) General Hardy? (A) He was an American, and some differences as to the activities were experienced - and are to be met in the present.
14. (Q) Col. E. C. Franklin? (A) You worked together, and will in the present.
15. (Q) Major Mohun? (A) Here we find the closer activity in the Ordinance as to the main body in that period. Thus we find there will be some differences, but the working well together.
16. (Q) Col. Guion? (A) Hard to deal with, as this entity was then Greene - in the southern portion of the land, AND was very opposed to the activities of O'Halloran in that period. [Gen. Nathanael Greene?]
17. (Q) In Signal Corps - Gen. Colton? (A) We do not find an association in that experience, but an awareness of each other's activities - studied from other associations.
18. (Q) Col. O'Connell? (A) You should be very close in your activities, as O'Connell was then your orderly.
257-248 Page 3
19. (Q) Major Olsen? (A) Here, too, there should be very good associations; though some disputations arise.
20. (Q) Major Zermulien? (A) We do not find an association.
21. (Q) Col. Thompson? (A) No.
22. (Q) Col. Van Ness Philip? (A) Here we find an association, but of a nature quite varied. For then these connections were of a superior nature.
23. (Q) Col. Farmer? (A) No.
24. (Q) In Quartermaster - Gen. Corbin? (A) You should work well together, but not from that connection.
25. (Q) Gen. Brehon Sommerville? [Somervell?] (A) You should work well together, as Sommerville was Howe in that experience.
26. (Q) What were my former duties with him and how did I serve him best? (A) As has been indicated, the supply - as to the varied activities necessary in maintaining the connections not only with the peoples of the land but with the home land. For, much of the period was consumed by Howe, with the officer then Cedric O'Halloran, in the New York or Boston or Long Island or Staten Island area.
27. (Q) How might our associations again be used to help the British-American cause? (A) It is the AMERICAN cause that is to be stressed! while a united effort, to be sure, is the stressing of both.
28. (Q) What officer of present staff developing lenses would be good associate for me now? (A) We don't have lenses in these activities of the entity in that experience, and hence no officers in same.
29. (Q) Considering my past associations, what staff position as civilian advisor would be open to me, considering my experience? (A) Whatever might be the suggestion from Somervell, as that is the highest or closest way the entity may work, and the one with whom the entity may work the better.
30. (Q) Could or should I plan to take a commission nearing the end of the war? (A) This depends upon WHY it would be taken. If it is for self and self's fame, and that self may have a place afterward, watch out! For this is using that which is of
257-248 Page 4
self-indulgence.
31. (Q) What did I do after the war was over when I became an American? (A) Read what has just been indicated. You became what today would be called a tradesman.
32. (Q) In what year did I die? (A) In eighteen one (1801).
33. (Q) Is my burial plot visible or marked anywhere, to recognize? (A) Not as we find here. We might look it up, if it is so desired.
34. (Q) What was my educational background in that period? (A) That as a representative of the Irish, as a connection with the English, which was a question, to be sure, but with those opportunities the entity took advantage of them - didn't abuse them, but used them for self later.
35. (Q) In what business was I engaged before joining the army? (A) Engaged in trying to make a living in Ireland!
36. (Q) Since a record exists of Gen. Wm. Howe, where is the record of my military life, if any? (A) Not as we find save here, on the Akashic records.
37. (Q) Was my present wife [903], associated with me during that period, or did I know her? (A) Acquaintance of, but not associated with.
38. (Q) My son, [759], who was then also a British soldier? (A) Here we would find those activities that were a part of the period in dwelling in New York, or the farm then - near where the body once lived on the Hudson. There the association was very close.
39. (Q) Did I fight in the White Plains district with Gen. Howe? (A) Wasn't much fight in the entity! It was supply! The supplying of message bearing and caring for these - these were the greater activities, as indicated.
40. (Q) Of what practical use can this information be to me now in Westchester County? (A) Study to show thyself approved unto God, not to man!
