Time of Reading 3:40 to 4:25 P. M. Eastern War Time. New York City.

1. GC: You will have before you the physical, mental and spiritual body of [257], present in this room, also his associates and associations. Please go over this body and advise him as to present conditions and how to best handle them; answering the questions he submits, as I ask them:

2. EC: Yes, we have the body, the enquiring mind, and those conditions as related to the physical, mental and spiritual body, [257]; this we have had before.

3. As we find, in the physical in the present conditions are very good in the main. There needs only to be those precautions that have been outlined for the body. As the body understands, and if there will be taken the time, there needs to be the proper emphasis, the proper relationship kept in the spiritual, mental and physical being of the body.

4. Oft analyze, in self's own inner self, the why's of those desires and hopes, consider as to whether these are in keeping with the spiritual purposes.

5. For, while mind is the builder, it is the purpose, the intent with which an individual applies self mentally, that brings those physical results into materiality. And these should be kept coordinant one with another. For, as has been given, there must be those meetings of self in material manifestation of the ideals and purposes of the spiritual and mental aspirations of an individual. And be not deceived, God is not mocked; whatsoever a man soweth, that must he also reap. And with what measure ye mete, it will be measured to thee again.

6. In the physical body, be mindful to keep proper eliminations. As in the experience of most individuals during the elderly portion of the life, the lagging of this or that phase of the eliminating activity finds its reaction in the body-forces.

7. Thus, as has been the stress for this body: Budget the time, so that the spiritual and mental has its periods of

257-252 Page 2

recreation. Budget so that the mental has those relaxations, those periods of stimulation, those periods of social activity that are ever creative. These keep a balance.

8. Ready for questions.

9. (Q) Has the rectal condition been entirely cured? (A) For the present, at least; unless there are those activities as to cause the over-astringent or the creating through the lymph circulation of accumulations of some nature. As indicated, the body is allergic to certain conditions or effects. Be mindful of them.

10. (Q) What is the condition of the colon now? (A) This is very good, as indicated. In the main the body in the present is as good as it has been for many a day.

11. (Q) Considering age and conditions from now on, what is best mode of living - diet, exercise, etc.? (A) As has been so oft given, do give time for recuperation, for stimulation, for activities of every nature to keep body, mind and purposes ever alert; and let them be prompted by creative influences. This indicates: Never that of self-indulgence, self-aggrandizement, or self-glorification; but in glory to the Creative Forces and in honor to self and others.

12. (Q) In what way haven't I in the last year tried to accomplish that? (A) This is not intending to find fault. For, as indicated, analyze self. For, when one disobeys, who is to counsel? Not even the Father reprimands, but the entity cometh under the law and must meet same, when such is done. This ye have well experienced in thine own physical being. It also applies spiritually, mentally, and thus gives reflection in the material things. Analyze self and self's purposes.

13. (Q) What effect has beef on system, as eaten this week? (A) This depends much upon the manner in which same is prepared. As we find, while it reflects, this has not been bad on the system as yet.

14. (Q) Am I still allergic to beer or malt products? (A) Still allergic to beer and malt products.

15. (Q) Does that mean I should never take beer at any time? (A) Take it when you choose - if you choose to pay the price!

16. (Q) Is cheese considered a malt product? (A) Not as the malt applied or implied in beer. While it is a malt, it is from a different source or cause. There are certain types of same that would be harmful to the body, but these are mild compared to the malt drinks. It is the

257-252 Page 3

gas producing, and thus the effects of same upon the lymph circulation through the alimentary canal.

17. (Q) What else produces gas, that I am now experiencing? (A) This is a combination of meats with certain forms of starches, that produce a form of gas - which begins in the lower portion of the duodenum and thus forms a gas through the jejunum as well as colon.

18. (Q) Is the combination of potatoes and meat gaseous? (A) If the potatoes are prepared with the meat, not so much as when prepared separate.

19. (Q) Does that include baked potatoes? (A) No.

20. (Q) Corn Flakes taken with fresh fruit and cream, or canned fruits? (A) These are not so gas-producing - UNLESS the citrus fruits are taken at the same meal.

21. (Q) How often should Inner Clean or Calsodine or such laxatives be taken? (A) This, to be sure, depends upon what has been the diet that forms bulk and is not completely absorbed by the activity of the system. This, then, depends upon how much exercise has been taken and as to whether coordination of the superficial and deeper circulation has been stimulated to activity. Once, twice or three times a week may be necessary at times, while maybe once in two weeks would be correct in others. This has to be governed by the expression or the manifestation of discomforts or dis-ease to the body-forces.

22. (Q) What effect does sweat baths and massage have on my body? (A) Keeps a better coordination between the superficial and deeper circulation. Let's consider this for a second, for it is well illustrated in this body here of [257], as to the effects of these - how they are beneficial when to some they may be superficial or even detrimental: In the activities of this body there have been those tendencies for the activities in the alimentary canal to be choked at times. This has caused the attempts of the eliminations, through the activity of kidneys, as well as the respiratory and perspiratory system, to attempt to take care of excesses created in the system. This is a tendency, as would be a habit of any form in body-forces of an individual entity. This, when the baths - the sweat baths and the massages are taken, these excesses there are eliminated that are never wholly eliminated by the body naturally but are left as part of irritations in portions of the muscular forces, or in the body proper itself. When

257-252 Page 4

these are thus eliminated, it also tends - by that stimulation - to turn the correct amount of activity to reduce or to get away from the habit. So the cleansing of the colon at times also should be a natural condition, after individuals reach that age to when the activities of the body in a physical exercise are not such as to cause the real activity, slowing the peristaltic movements through alimentary canal. Hence for this particular body these are WELL to be taken at times, and also - as the body has been warned - these may be at times taken once or twice a week, then may be skipped for two to three weeks, depending upon the environs, the activity, and what has been the regular activity of the alimentary canal. That is, do not change habits by forming worse habits, but rectify all by keeping body-forces coordinating one with the other.

23. (Q) Do I eat too much bread, and is it gas producing? (A) Bread at times, especially if the body is worried, will form gas. Bread taken when the body is relaxed does not form gas.

24. (Q) What will aid head and throat condition and eliminate causes? (A) Those irritations that arise are some of the old disturbances which have existed in the mucous membranes of the face and head, and from same the acid that flows from same causes the irritation in the throat. In this particular body, these are not caused from throat to head, but from the head to throat. Occasionally - and this means keep handy so it may be used of mornings or evenings, when there is the tendency for a clogging in the nasal passages - Use Glyco-Thymoline or Lavoris or the like as a spray for nasal passages and throat, and we will find these will be beneficial; not only as a purifier for the alimentary canal but as an eliminating of the causes for the disturbances in the passages. The inhalants that have been given at times would also be good, but do not use these as a spray - only inhale the fumes of same.

25. (Q) Can I take the spray daily without injury? (A) Take it three to four times a day without injury!

26. (Q) Take it diluted or full strength? (A) Take it in natural strength ordinarily. If there is particular irritation, dilute - but dilute with purified

257-252 Page 5

water (distilled water), not with tap water. Three to one parts - Lavoris, or three parts Glyco-Thymoline to one part water.

27. (Q) How much should be used at each time? (A) Sufficient to cover the area, or according to how bad is the condition; two or three squeezes should be sufficient for the body. But remember, there's two or three openings in the nose and one opening in the throat - so it doesn't mean one squeeze apiece, but two or three squeezes apiece, see?

28. (Q) Is there any reoccurrence of growth or pockets in colon or intestinal tract? [On 4/23/40 he had surgery to remove colon tumor.] (A) No, not in the present.

29. (Q) Why does rash come on body at special times? (A) Read what we have just indicated, as to why and how the poisons in the body, through the old disturbance, cause those tendencies - or the habits of being eliminated otherwise. If the good eliminations are kept, with the massages and sweats, this will be kept down - when it comes about.

30. (Q) What will eliminate dry condition of skin on bottom of feet? (A) Use Dog-On-Foot. This is beneficial to such conditions. These we may give as a preparation, but this is prepared well. This ye may obtain. Massage on feet and it will remove the tiredness, the tendency for scaling, remove corns, and it will also remove bunions - if applied regularly.

31. (Q) What part of the country is best for my body to relax in the next several months? (A) Wherever is chosen, but do have several weeks of real relaxing.

32. (Q) Where would be best for the vacation period to get the relaxing? (A) Wherever is chosen.

33. (Q) Would it be good for us to go to Oklahoma to visit the folks? (A) Be excellent. Keep out in the open when you do.

34. (Q) Which is the best month for that? (A) June or July.

35. (Q) Does age only cause change of hair and its color and thinning? (A) Color of hair and the change comes from the glandular conditions. Age, of course, adds to the disturbance in the glandular conditions, but these are natural causes. And these, of course, may be stimulated or helped with that

257-252 Page 6

which adds to the activity of the glands that are exercised in the activity in same - which is a portion of the thyroid; and the addition of foods, vegetables, that carry that stimuli and activity - all those of the iodine content, leaving off the potashes that cause such irritations.

36. (Q) Are the vitamins advertised in Boston restoring gray hair to its natural color safe to take? (A) Safe to take if it is desired - they'll have no effect.

37. (Q) What foods best for the body diet and welfare from now until fall, to keep weight and strength normal? (A) A well-balanced diet - whole grain cereals, plenty of citrus fruits, plenty of fresh fruits and fresh vegetables. Plenty of sea foods in their proper season and their proper relation one to another. These as we find in the main are the better conditions.

38. (Q) What is the best meat substitute? (A) Soy beans.

39. (Q) What else? (A) Any of those combinations that carry a great amount of the vital forces are good, but there is no substitute for meats for a body that has become accustomed to it. But fish and fowl will not need substituting.

40. (Q) As to spiritual aid to the war effort, what is best in keeping with my physical and mental abilities? (A) The right attitudes of the individual towards the preparation of peace movements. These should be the spiritual attitudes. Know that there are within self at times the varying effects. At times you are very imperialistic, at others you will find yourself rather inclined to draw away from - or be rather as those who would close themselves. At others you are rather Federalistic. These are more near to keeping the middle road or the balance. No longer may any land or nation indicate they are self-sufficient. For as ye know in thy spiritual inner self (for ye practice it very well, oft - Induce others to do so, you ARE your brother's keeper. And who is thy brother? He that would attempt to do the will of the Father.

41. (Q) Now that 10 weeks have passed, as the reading stated, what is best plan for my efforts, for my family and associates, and national welfare? (A) These are very good, or the entity is very well in line with those activities and associations for the better welfare of family, and the efforts in the war and the progress of same.

42. (Q) What can I do next to prepare for post war benefits? (A) As just indicated, first there must be the correct

257-252 Page 7

relationship of self as to post war conditions, and there must be the propagation of the ideals and purposes for the nation as a nation. And these the entity should apply itself, not as a radical, not as one that is entirely eliminating self or others, or the self-sufficiency, or the imperialistic demands, but upon that basis that ye are brothers, ever.

43. (Q) Is the best field for success with Gen. Somervell, or smaller war plants, Col. Johnson, with engineering group for Treasury procurement, Mr. Clifton Mack, or serving as advisor to industry and various departments as now being developed and handled? (A) For the next six to twelve months, stay with Somervell. But keep the hand, as it were, upon the pulse of those for procurement agencies. For this is in keeping with the activities that will lead to or through Somervell.

44. (Q) Shall I make any direct approach yet to Gov. Lehman, or let it come through Somervell? (A) This SHOULD be through Somervell, for these are a part of those to which it will lead in the final preparations for the supply and demand in other lands.

45. (Q) About what time should I be ready to begin post war work? (A) In January or February of next year - 1944.

46. (Q) Will the war be over by that time? (A) That depends upon many things. War may be over before April is through of this year, if certain things that are in offing are carried through; or it may be April or next year before it is through.

47. (Q) Could I be helpful in aiding it to end this April? (A) Not with those with whom it lies, for this is too close to Hitler for you!

48. (Q) Will I ever be able to contact Hitler myself? (A) If you choose to.

49. (Q) In what manner could I aid Gov. Lehman committee better, or serve my people better? (A) These will have their proper consideration if there are the efforts and plans of Governor Lehman carried through, and special direction or special places may be given to the entity, if such is chosen, when those activities of such nature are begun in their distribution.

50. (Q) What is God's will as to how I should use my efforts? and inclinations? (A) To the glory of God, to the honor of self. That which ye do, do not to the glory of [257] but to the glory of God and to the honor of self.

51. We are through. h.
