1. EC: Yes, we have the body here, [259]; this we have had before.

2. Now, as we find, conditions are very different from that we have had here before. While there are some of the conditions that formerly disturbed the equilibrium, the changes have brought both good and troublesome conditions for the body.

3. These, then, are the conditions as we find them at the present time with [259]:

4. The BLOOD SUPPLY we find deficient in the elements, especially, that constitute the activity through the serums or in the hemoglobin proper; particularly as related to the hormone in the creating of elements for the better coordination in gland and in nerve functioning.

5. A form of anemia would be too broad a term in some respects, and toxemia would be too narrow in others; yet both conditions occur in the blood stream, especially as related to the forming of functionings relative to some glands and as to organs that are affected by the glands, and the reaction in the nervous system.

6. We find the NERVOUS SYSTEM is rather affected in all those centers and ganglia where cerebrospinal and sympathetic system coordinate. Hence the varied EFFECTS that are created in the system through the activity of the mental AND physical body, or:

7. At specific times there are disturbing pains in the lower portion of the sacral and lower dorsal area; at others catchy pains just below the shoulders and in the area that affects the diaphragm or the organs of assimilation; at others keen pains in the neck and shoulders, and a depression or a dullness just above the eyes - or through the activity of the pineal eye to the sensory system, as to DISCERNMENTS through the mental and physical reactions of the body.

259-7 Page 2

8. Then, the nervous systems are affected; rather than THE effect in the system.

9. All ORGANS are rather under the stress of existent conditions in the body, and in their varying cycles are the source of SPECIFIC distresses, without any becoming so involved as to be called organic disturbance; rather functional disturbance, save where there are specific pressures from scar tissue and some adhesions that disturb the body at times, during the activity of the organs of pelvis as respecting eliminations from the system - when THESE become rather specific.

10. From the conditions that have been described it may be seen that, while the condition in the present has not assumed those proportions as to be greatly detrimental, unless some definite action is taken there WILL be either the general breaking down of the nerve and mental forces or some organ and system will become so involved as to cause the localization of disturbance; thus making for an eventual constitutional condition that would be harmful to the better mental and physical development of the body, thus retarding - from the PHYSICAL angle - the better DEVELOPMENTS for the body mentally and spiritually.

11. In meeting the needs of the conditions in the present, then, we will find that it will be necessary to consider all those elements and disturbances in the various portions of the body physically, the body mentally, as related to nerve reactions and the general physiognomy of the body.

12. There must be, then, specific pathological changes created in the actions of the system for the bringing about of the more perfect coordination in all portions of the body.

13. The question that would naturally arise in the minds of many would be, "What CAUSED the condition and what would be the medical term of name for this specific disorder?"

14. As indicated, this may be - from the medical standpoint - termed overexertion physically and mentally, producing the condition of anemia; or it may be - viewed from the other angle - called an incoordination by the strain of the mental upon the activities of a body not evenly balanced in its katabolism and metabolism.

15. Then:

16. We would add in a medical manner those elements that, with their assimilation in the system, will produce that stimuli to the organs and glands of the body as to produce a better coordination in the elements created for the resuscitation of the physical forces of the body.

17. Also we would add those properties that would make for

259-7 Page 3

better activities IN that assimilated for being distributed to the focal points of activity, in creating better coordinations through the system.

18. There would also be taken into consideration those specific conditions that may be aided (in these changes created) toward the better coordination, absorption, removal and correction, that now AFFECT the organs of the body.

19. So, we would adhere very closely to the following:

20. Take internally each day from three to eight minims of Atomidine (which is iodine with the poison out); three to five drops morning and evening, or three in the morning and five in the evening - or five in the morning and and three in the evening, dependent upon the reactions of same in the system.

21. Drink plenty of water when these dosages are taken.

22. As the glands and secretions in various portions of the system are disturbed, the pathological effect of the Atomidine will be to create that stimuli for their activity to the point of being able to ASSIMILATE the proper elements in their relationships to the various effects created in the glands of the system under their various functionings.

23. At times there will be the tendency for a tingling sensation (while taking the Atomidine), especially to the head. The body should rest during such periods.

24. During the whole time Atomidine is being taken, the body should not FORCE self to activity; but take sufficient exercise in the outdoors each day as to make for physical tiredness, without too much mental strain while doing so.

25. Also (as medicinal properties) we would take following the morning and evening meal, NOT at the noon meal, a third to half a teaspoonful of AL-CAROID. Dissolve this first, before adding the glass of water; then drink another full glass of water afterwards.

26. We would give, too, those vibrations from the violet ray anode that charges the body direct while being held in the hand. The anode would be held in the hand for five to eight minutes two or three times each week.

27. This treatment is to so charge the centers of the nervous system as to make for (with the changes created in the activities of that assimilated, in its distribution through the system) better coordination BETWEEN the sympathetic and cerebrospinal nervous system. It would produce stimuli to the GANGLIA in the cerebrospinal and sympathetic coordinating centers.

28. At least once each week we would have a thorough massage over the whole body, BEGINNING from the solar plexus center and going to the extremities (both up and down). Rather

259-7 Page 4

than working TOWARD the body, work TOWARD the extremities - see? Give a thorough massage.

29. This is for the superficial effect, or the superficial activity of the circulation, and will bring to the emunctories and lymph circulation - in all portions of the system - a better activity.

30. DURING such a treatment make those SPECIFIC adjustments in the lower dorsal (that is, the 11th and 12th) and through the lumbar area; massaging thoroughly the caecum and the colon, that there may be the breaking up of those adhesions and the absorption of scar tissue in those areas where OPERATIVE forces have allowed the accumulation of same. [Appendix was removed 2/24/32.]

31. As to the matter of diet, this would be as an OUTLINE - though it may be altered in the various conditions, elements or properties given for the varied periods:

32. Mornings (and take time to eat! Don't eat on the run! Sit down and be quiet during those periods when the food is being taken! Rest at least five to ten minutes before the food is taken at EACH meal! Don't hurry in; or run in, grab, and be gone!): Citrus fruits that are either combined or altered; as the JUICE of oranges or lemons, or the pulp and juice of the grapefruit. This may be followed at the same meal with buttered toast, cocoa or any cereal drink; or may be combined with rice cakes and honey. Or, this combination may be altered to stewed fruits or prunes - with milk. Or, at other times, the meal may be composed of CEREALS. But don't combine any of these together! that is, the citrus fruits (or citrus fruit juices) and then the stewed fruits, or the stewed fruits and then the cereals, or the cereals and then the citrus fruit juices. ALTER these about, but do not combine them!

33. The bread or toast taken should preferably be of the whole wheat, or the mixed whole wheat; or corn cakes may occasionally be taken, but these when taken should be prepared in butter - or with the fats from vegetables rather than from the animal fat (unless butter is used).

34. Noons: Combination green vegetable salads. These may be taken with oils or mayonnaise, or with the combination. At periods the salads may be altered to the juices or soups from meats and vegetables. At this meal there may be taken buttermilk, a combination of the dried milks, or the like.

35. Evenings: Ten to twenty minutes before this meal there should be taken those strengthening properties for the body, either in the malt or a combination that makes for excess alcohol; as may be had in brandied peaches, light wine, or the like.

259-7 Page 5

36. The meal itself should consist of fish, lamb, roast chicken (NOT FRIED), or the like - the meats may be chosen from these. All the vegetables well combined; at least have two leafy and one under ground, or two under ground and one or two pod - but WELL-COOKED VEGETABLES!

37. These will make for the even balance throughout the system.

38. Ready for questions.

39. (Q) Following directions just given, will she be able to attend Alabama Young People's Conference at Camp Grandview, near Montgomery, the first week in June? (A) She should be able to go anywhere she wants to; do anything she wants to! Do these as we have outlined, for we have covered the case entirely!
