1. GC: You will give the physical condition of this body at the present time, with further suggestions for corrective measures; answering the questions, as I ask them:
2. EC: Yes, we have the body here, [260]; this we have had before.
3. Many changes have taken place through the physical forces of the body since last we had same here. Some have been, or are in the present, very good. Some show conditions that should be considered, owing to general disturbances which arise in the body.
4. Ready for questions.
5. (Q) About 2 years ago, a physician advised me to have an operation. He said the cervix uteri was hardened - scar tissue should be cut away - and that there was danger from cancer during the menopause if this was not done. I am now 43 and am wondering if I should have this done. (A) If the body would have a curettement, and the scar tissue removed, this would prevent a great deal of disturbance and pain at those periods of the menopause. This we would have done, if it is done, at those periods when there is the correct balance in the system for proper coagulation. This, of course, may be determined by the blood tests. We would have same done.
6. (Q) I have a bad sacro-iliac which my osteopath puts back in place for me. Sometimes there is pressure on the sciatic nerve. Also I sometimes have pain in the bones below this point, but the osteopath has assured me several times that there is nothing out of place there. Do you agree? (A) As we find, we would have the osteopath make correction in the sacro-iliac, coordinating the lower portion of the spine with same; and there would be a great deal less trouble here. For, in the coccyx end there are the nerves that control not
260-2 Page 2
only the activities through the lower portion of the alimentary canal but also aid in the control along the sciatic, and especially to the bursa in the lower portion of the feet. These areas would all be much improved, if these centers were coordinated; and we would advise this being done.
7. (Q) For 16 years I have had a rectal itch which seems to be caused by constipation or sometimes "nerves". This same physician said the lower end of the colon was paralyzed. What do you advise? (A) A great deal of this comes from the condition in the colon. Occasionally, whenever there is the trouble with the itching, and which should not be necessary more than once in six to eight to ten weeks (and after the corrections there should be little or no use of same) - we would use an enema of oils carrying a little of Carbolic Acid in same; that is: Glycerine.....................1 ounce, Carbolic Acid.................2 drops, Usoline, Nujol or Russian White Oil..........4 ounces. Shake or stir these together very well; then inject. This is preferable to using Carbolated Vaseline, for this tends to dry and is not as effective. The use of these, in combination with the osteopathic corrections, should overcome the condition. And let the osteopath correct same by injecting the finger in the rectum, so as to correct the lower end of the coccyx bone, see? The lower end of the colon is low or slow in its activity, owing to lack of the impulses from the sacro-iliac and the coccyx end of the nerve forces. Not true paralysis, but lack of that impulse for activity; rather that tendency for prolapsus.
8. (Q) Are pains in lower abdomen caused by gas? (A) A portion is from gas, a portion is from the general tie-up in the coccyx area, see? At times these are from gas, but that which assists or causes the condition exists in the coccyx and the lower rectal area.
9. (Q) I have been riding horseback lately, hoping this would strengthen my back. Do you think this advisable? (A) If not too much of same, and if the proper sort of brace is used when riding; that is, as an elastic or the like. But it will be much better for the body NOT to ride too often when these corrections are being made, see?
260-2 Page 3
10. (Q) Would you advise spending this winter on a ranch where I would ride every day? (A) If there are those corrections osteopathically made in the sacro-iliac AND the coccyx, this would be very well. If not, it would NOT be so advisable.
11. (Q) Also have sinus trouble. Would you advise taking 5 grain Potassium Chloride tablets? (A) These are not as good as the effect that would be obtained from the use of an inhalant that will act as a purifier for the tissue that becomes involved by the slowed circulation. Prepare in this manner: To 4 ounces of Pure Grain Alcohol, in at least an 8 ounce bottle (preferably glass-corked), add - in the order named: Oil of Eucalyptus............20 minims, Rectified Oil of Turp.........5 minims, Compound Tincture Benzoin....15 minims, Rectified Creosote............3 minims. It would be better to have the stopper to the bottle prepared so that there are two vents into the vacuum, not into the solution, see? Then keep these corked well when not in use. But when ready to use, shake the solution well and inhale the fumes through the nostril and also through the mouth; just the fumes that come from same by being shaken. This will be found to be more effective than the tablets. For, the tablets are only allaying, while the inhalations act as purifiers so that the system is able, through stimulated circulation, to cast off the causes of the condition, see?
12. (Q) Would the dry climate of the Southwest also be good for my sinus trouble? (A) Be very good, provided it is not overdone; that is, in the dust. For, this is alkali and IS irritating to such disturbances. If this is very much in evidence, then it will be irritating to the body.
13. (Q) Any other advice for the body? (A) We would have the corrections made first, see, - sacro-iliac and coccyx; using the enemas when necessary. Then we WOULD have the curettement made - this at least in the fall or winter, see? Then be precautious as to wearing the correct type of brace when riding.

Do use the inhalant as indicated, two or three times a day; and we will find - with the rest of the applications as indicated - we will be rid of the antrum troubles. Inhale in the throat, for this should aid also that tendency for a bronchi disturbance at times.
