This psychic reading given by Edgar Cayce at his office, 115 West 35th Street, Virginia Beach, Va., this 17th day of September, 1930, in accordance with request made by self and those in charge.

R E A D I N G

Time of Reading Cayce Hospital, 3:25 P. M. Eastern Standard Time. Va. Beach, Virginia. (Physical Suggestion)

1. EC: Yes, we have the body here, [261] - this we have had before. Conditions, as we find, show improvement in a general manner, and specifically in the conditions as exist through stomach and alimentary canal, and chiefly in the end of, or beginning of, the transverse and descending colon.

2. These, as we find, need - then - that of the CONTINUATION as of diet, as of osteopathic manipulative forces, as of the preventing of PURGING too much, or of creating that which will make for accumulations in the region, or as will PRODUCE more of the tendencies for lacerations or IRRITATIONS in the stomach or through the intestinal tract.

3. These, as as find - while there are STILL impulses - will continue to be on the improve.

4. Ready for questions.

5. (Q) How long shall the elm and saffron be taken? (A) Until same has at least created more of the tendency in the intestinal tract throughout, to be the more of nearer normal - for they produce that tendency within the system as of healing, or as of a non-IRRITATING force along the canal itself.

6. (Q) Will the hip and foot continue to improve with present treatment? (A) Continue to improve, so long as the eliminations are kept so that there is not acid reactions, nor the tendency of pressures in the circulatory forces of the intestinal tract, or of the VEGETATIVE to produce reactions.

7. (Q) Will pains in neck and shoulders and sensitiveness to draughts entirely disappear with continuing present treatment? (A) These should, in time, entirely disappear. That which has been long in building may not be expected to remove in a flash.

8. (Q) Are the tonsils a contributing cause to present condition, or an effect, and if the latter will they return

to a normal condition? (A) A contributing cause to the condition.

9. (Q) Is any special treatment recommended for dandruff, and can it be entirely cured? (A) Will this be used, this may entirely cure same: To water - aqua pura - that preferably of PURE water - to 4 ounces of same add 20 minims of 85% alcohol, with that of the oil of pine 2 minims. This should be rubbed thoroughly into the scalp, so that there is the proper reaction from same. Then, with this still damp from same, massage thoroughly into the scalp small quantity of white vaseline. Then wash the head thoroughly with that of a tar soap. Do this about once each week. 10. (Q) Would you advise removal of tonsils? (A) When blood is in better condition, we would.

11. (Q) Is diet correct? (A) Very good.
