Time of Reading 4:05 to 4:15 P. M. Eastern Standard Time. Long Island, N.Y. (Physical Suggestion)
1. EC: Yes, we have the body; this we have had before.
2. As we find, an acute condition has arisen from toxic forces very akin to a ptomaine reaction through the alimentary canal. And this, with the weakness and tenderness which has existed, has brought about some distresses there.
3. In ministering for the conditions in the present, we would:
4. Make application of a Grape Poultice; raw grapes, mashed in a form so they will be at least half to an inch thick across the whole of the abdomen; preferably the Concord Grapes.
5. Be well in preparation for it that there be taken internally orange juice mixed with the grape juice; the fresh, not that preserved or put up, but the fresh - about half and half. Take little sips of this.
6. Keep the pack on for about an hour, and then change and put on a second one. Leave the second one on for an hour.
7. Then take a high enema, a soda solution preferably; about a tablespoonful of baking soda to a gallon of tepid water. Then use a second antiseptic solution, with a tablespoonful of Glyco-Thymoline in half a gallon of water.
8. Then we would begin with quantities of Olive Oil and Yellow Saffron Tea.
9. Be very mindful on the morrow about the diet; keeping those things that are more or less of the predigested nature; such as fruit juices, vegetable juices and the like.
10. And by the second day we should find the body near normal again.
11. Ready for questions.
12. (Q) What produced this ptomaine poisoning? (A) Something eaten!
13. (Q) Should the Grape Poultice be continued tomorrow, or just today?
261-17 Page 2
(A) As given, just take two. Whether you get them in today or get them in tomorrow, or give them next week, why that's to be considered!
14. (Q) Why the faint feeling for the past two days? (A) The effect of poisons upon the general circulation. Toxic forces.
15. (Q) What caused the profuse perspiration? (A) The tendency for the circulation to adjust itself through toxic forces, or attempt to.
16. (Q) Is there a stoppage in the intestinal tract? (A) Not so much the stoppage as a congestion.
17. Do this as we have outlined.
18. We are through for the present. Copy to Self - Phoned also " " Ass'n file
