Time of Reading 11:50 to 12:00 A. M. Eastern Standard Time. Long Island, N.Y. (Physical Suggestion)

1. EC: Yes, we have the body here.

2. As we find, there is an acute condition arising from too great a quantity of what may be said to be the violet ray effect upon the mucous membranes of the tissues through the body. Overheat and overexertion in too strong a sunlight, though apparently there was not strong sunlight when this occurred. [Sunstroke?]

3. Hence we have a very distressing condition through the nerve forces, especially as to the head, the temple and through the center of the head, arising from the gastric conditions through the intestinal system.

4. We would make not a saturated solution but near a saturated solution, in this manner: To 6 ounces of water add 4 ounces of Tartaric Acid. Stir this and make it ice cold. Put this upon a pack and use across the abdomen. Make it cold, so that it is cold and kept cold. Put between or on cloth, of course, and use as a poultice; soft cloth wrung out of the solution and put across same, with another cloth over it. Change it as soon as it becomes hot. This will reduce the temperature.

5. Also we would take internally for the nausea, that naturally occurs from the headache, a compound prepared in this manner: Limewater...........................1 ounce, Cinnamon Water......................1 ounce, 10% solution Iodide Potassium......10 minims, 10% solution Bromide Potassium.....40 minims. This may be taken every two hours, a teaspoonful, as it is shaken together; or this may be put in a sip of water.

6. Be mindful that the foods taken for the next twenty-four to forty-eight hours are those that contain a great deal of

gluten; as in sips of elm water, made from the powdered elm bark, but do not put the elm in the water until it is ready to be taken. A pinch in a glass of water, stirred and allowed to stand for two to three minutes before taken. Take it cool, not cold nor ice cold but cool. If this is belched, then reduce the quantity but keep on taking.

7. Also we would find that the Yellow Saffron Tea would be helpful; and a little Olive Oil taken occasionally, but just a few drops at the time.

8. The foods would be from those such as arrowroot, junket, soups that carry such as okra and the like. These should be cool, not hot, when the body takes same.

9. We would find these will relieve these distresses.

10. Naturally there must be the eliminations, and if there is not the proper elimination the use of enemas will be helpful.

11. A massage tomorrow or late this afternoon when these reactions have begun, would be helpful.

12. Ready for questions.

13. (Q) Are there any teeth giving any trouble? (A) They are contributory causes, but disturbing forces produce the condition in the teeth. Local attention should be sufficient, if the conditions are corrected.

14. We are through for the present. Copy to Self - Phoned also to Mrs. [772] " " Ass'n file
