R E A D I N G

Time of Reading 11:30 to 11:40 A. M. Eastern Standard Time. ..., N.Y. (Physical Suggestion)

1. EC: Yes, we have the body, [261] this we have had before.

2. Many conditions are greatly improved from that as we have had here before.

3. Still there are those causes for disturbances through the conditions in the digestive forces of the body, and those conditions produced in the circulation and the pressures upon the nervous system, and the reaction to other portions of the body from this nervous condition - as indicated by irritations somewhat in the throat, soft tissue of the nasal passages. [Sinusitis]

4. As we would find in the present, it would be well that great precautions be taken as to the diet. We find in the immediate that to have stewed okra twice a day would be very helpful for the body and the conditions in the digestive forces. This, of course, is not to be all that is taken, but let this be a part of at least the noon and evening meals.

5. Also we would use a good spray of an antiseptic, using a heavy spray - as the DeVilbis, or such - for throat and nasal passages; preferably with Lavoris, as we find would be most helpful.

6. When the disturbances or headaches are over severe, we find that the Silosan Compound tablets would be well to take. This as we find is as mild and as little disturbing to the digestive forces as any sedative that would be helpful.

7. Manipulations, and the use of the electrically driven vibrator or violet ray would be helpful with the massage.

8. Ready for questions.

9. (Q) I still have sort of like rheumatism whenever playing golf. May anything be done to remove same? (A) To increase the eliminations and get the poisons from the system would be helpful for this.

Golf is a very good exercise for the body if it is not taken too strenuously.

10. (Q) Left eye feels strained. What do you find and what suggestion? (A) Only pressures in the nerve system and thus the vibrations from the violet ray for five to ten minutes each evening, of course along the upper dorsal and the back portion along the cervical would be better and across the head and over the eye. These would be relaxing to same.

11. (Q) Still have stiffness in lower back. Any special suggestions? (A) Only those as indicated of massage and the exercise, and the eliminations.

12. (Q) Any special diet other than okra? (A) As indicated, those easily assimilated - and these will have to be necessarily tested by the body from time to time in association or connection with that as given.

13. (Q) Any special exercise other than golf? (A) This is plenty if it is taken in an even manner.

14. (Q) Will be on vacation until Sept. 7th. Would any other place be more beneficial than ... [N.Y.]? (A) This as we find, with the surroundings and the mental attitudes and the SYMPATHETIC conditions that go with same, is a very ideal place - if it is taken not too strenuously. Plenty of rest, or: After the morning meal work a little while, such as the activities like golf or the course by the activities in the surroundings. After the noon meal rest an hour to two hours. After the evening meal walk considerable.

15. (Q) What proportion of Lavoris for the spray? (A) Use it regular.
