Time of Reading 5:10 to 5:25 P. M.

1. GC: You will have before you Norfolk Study Group #1, members of which are present here, and their work on the lesson Destiny, especially as related to the Soul. You will give anything which is needed at this time in completing this lesson and an opening discourse on our next lesson, Glory. Answer questions.

2. EC: Yes, we have the group as gathered here; as a group, as individuals, and their work on the lessons, Destiny, Glory, and others.

3. In that which has been given should be found that necessary for the completion of the lesson, or that portion of same, Destiny of the Soul. The whole theme or the whole purpose in that portion is the awareness of the soul's association in such a manner with infinity in its activity in the finite world, yet in such measures for the soul to know its association and its fulfilling of the purposes.

4. In giving that as may be the opening presentation of the lesson, a lesson, on Glory:

5. These that present this should within themselves experience, then, that which to each IS Glory.

6. What manner or form, then, shall it take in each EXPERIENCING - during this lesson, this preparation of same - that which will be, that is, GLORY in each one's experience?

7. These lessons to many have become at times as yokes; yet some have learned and are learning what He meant when He gave, "Take my yoke upon you and learn of me; for my yoke is easy, my burden is light."

8. Then, as ye approach this glorified Savior, this glorified Christ, GLORY in thine OWN experience that ye as individuals are BEING a channel of blessing to others; that ye are serving in such a manner that the service is no longer as a servitude but rather as that which brings JOY in the activity, a longing for the association, the

opportunity, the manner in which self may be in some measure or some manner a channel of blessing.

9. Does the Glory then as in Him shine out unto others? Does it become in thine own experience only a cross in the flesh? Is it not rather that same experience which He had in entering into His Glory? that is, the completion of those activities in the material world when His Glory was shown? And He asked that they - that all those who would make of their lives, of their experience, a channel of blessing to the fellow man - might know His Glory; that they might know their OWN glory; that there might come that glory in the experiences of those who had consecrated, dedicated their lives and so LIVED them as to become living examples known among men for their good work in being a channel. Think it not strange, then, that ye should look for that glory. For has it not been given that ye have been chosen, even as ye have chosen Him? Thinkest thou that His prayer will not be answered IN thee, and in thine experience? [See also 262-93, Par. 14-A.]

10. Then, rather than the opening of that as would be presented to others, rather would we give here that YE rededicate, reconsecrate yourselves; that ye may know, that ye may experience, this Glory.

11. How - ye ask - and in what way?

12. How has He asked ever? "What seekest thou?"

13. Then, shall this Glory be known and experienced in the realm of spiritual awakening, of mental attunement, or of material benefit?

14. All are of the Lord. Choose thou.

15. We are through for the present.
