Time of Reading 4:00 to 4:35 P. M.

1. GC: You will have before you Group #1, members of which are present here, and their work on the lesson Glory. You will give further discourse on this lesson and answer questions.

2. EC: Yes, we have the group as gathered here, as a group and as individuals; and their work on the lesson Glory - in giving that as might be helpful to each of you in applying yourselves as individuals, and in giving and supplying that as may be helpful to others in their study and their seeking for the ways and manners in which they, too, as individuals, may know and manifest the Glory of the Son in the Father.

3. In adding to that which has been given, or in summing it all up, KNOW that to KNOW the Glory indeed is to - self - be a part of that Glory; that which would come through thy efforts. Not as an honor, but as thy honoring the Christ - for His name's sake. Not that ye may be well-spoken of or looked upon by the world as something set aside. Rather as He gave, "IN the world but not OF the world" yet manifesting that which becomes the Glory of the Father among the children of men.

4. Not that self, thine own ego may be satisfied, but rather that the spirit of truth - as exemplified in the manner, the way the Master, thy Savior did manifest - may be THROUGH THEE manifested before and toward thy fellow man. For it was spoken of Him that He went about doing good. NO one could speak evil of Him, yet WE say, YE say, evil was done Him. Yet He said, "for that purpose came I into the world, that I might overcome the world," and thus that the Glory of the Father, of the Creator - yea, of thy Elder Brother - might be manifest.

5. As has been declaimed by a teacher, there is one Glory of the sun, another of the moon, another of the stars; each differing in their Glory according to the purpose for which they each have been established. For what? That man might in himself see the Glory of the Father being made manifest

by they each performing their purpose in THEIR cooperation, in THEIR activity, before Him.

6. So, in thine own life, in thine own relation, in thine own associations one with another, how speakest THOU - how readest thou? that ye do this or that in order that ye may be well thought of? or are ye fearful of what another will say because thou art called to do this or that?

7. Does the sun fear the Glory of the moon, or the moon the sun?

8. Do the stars fail to shine because the sun is in HIS Glory?

9. Yea, these should be to each of us that example, even as He gave, "Abide in me, I in thee, and ye shall have and know the Glory of the Father."

10. Ready for questions.

11. (Q) What did Jesus mean when He spoke of "the glory I had with the Father before the world was"? (A) The opportunities; as Glory is only the means of opportunities for expressing that purpose, that duty, that love, that law which is before each soul.

12. (Q) Please explain the veil within the Holy of Holies. (A) This is far afield, yet may be seen as that given by the Master, "These I have spoken in parable lest they see and are converted." What meaneth this? That those individuals' times, purposes, intents, had not been completed or sufficient unto where they would be stable in their use or application of the Glory or the opportunity or the factor itself. So with the veil in the Holy of Holies, which might not be entered save by him who had been dedicated to the office of representing or presenting the purpose, the mind of the people as a whole - and THEN only after consecrating himself for that period or act of service. So within man's own experience, as has been indicated, step by step through that which has been given thee, as ye approach the Father KNOW the way by putting into PRACTICAL application that thou hast GAINED day by day! What brought death to him that put forth his hand to steady the Ark that, in ORDER, sat behind the veil? That which had brought to that individual material prosperity, laudation among his brethren; yet the soul had accepted all without dedicating his body, his mind, his purpose to that service - breaking through the veil to accept and yet not showing forth that which was in keeping with those commands, those

promises. For it had been said and given, "He that putteth forth his hand BEYOND that veil shall SURELY die!"

13. (Q) Please explain Hebrew 9:28, "So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many, and unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation." (A) As it reads, so IS it; in spirit and in truth. For, combine each promise in same to that the MASTER himself spoke. And we will find that the promises are, "He that abideth IN me hath indeed then put ON Christ, hath indeed become one with Christ and is no longer subject to the temptations of the earth, of the world," and hence becomes one with Him and is IN that attitude, that plane of oneness. To such there is no returning to the flesh.

14. (Q) As I call their names, you will please give a personal message to each of the group that will be of help at this time. [413]: (A) Keep thy paths before thee as brightened with the promises of thy Christ, and the ways will open for thee in thy service to others, through Him.

15. (Q) [585]: (A) Let the words of HIS mouth be as lamps to thy feet, that the Glory of the Lord may shine roundabout thee.

16. (Q) [404]: (A) Keep the mind, the heart, OPEN; that the light of the Lord may enter in and abide WITH thee. For He WILL do thee good.

17. (Q) [379]: (A) Let the words of thy mouth and the meditation of thy heart coordinate with thy purposes in Him. For in such does the light and the Glory of the Lord shine.

18. (Q) [560]: (A) In the Lord is thy hope, thy trust; in Him there is builded about thee the light of the Glory of the Christ. KEEP Him in thy heart.

19. (Q) [993]: (A) Let the ways of the Lord come nigh unto thee day by day; for in thy meditations ye walk along "this way," and He, thy Christ thy Brother, is the light thereof.

20. (Q) [303]: (A) Keep thy mind, thy heart, as one in Him; knowing even as He, the faults in others ye CANNOT correct of thyself. Only open the way; let the LORD have HIS way with thee.

21. (Q) [307]: (A) The Glory of the Lord shineth roundabout thee when ye put thy trust wholly in Him. The ways of the Lord are not past finding out; neither do they become as a mystery to those that make their purposes, their desires, CLEAN in the

sight of the Lord.

22. We are through.
