Time of Reading 3:00 to 3:40 P. M. Eastern Standard Time. ..., Virginia. (Physical Suggestion, with special reference to head)

1. EC: Yes, we have the body here, [263].

2. Now, as we find, there are conditions that disturb the better physical functioning of the body. While there are many conditions throughout the system that are very good, the resistances are very low - and the taxations to the body, either physically, mentally or emotionally, at times produce such strains on the vitality that, unless there ARE some changes, as we would find, there must eventually develop some very unsatisfactory conditions. And these would be very hard to cope with, once the system had attempted to wholly ADJUST itself to disturbances and the conditions had become more acute, or the constitution breaks down under these strains.

3. These conditions, as we find, have to do with a form of anemia that exists in the system, and the effects that this produces upon physical organisms and the functioning of other organs of the body. (These, to be sure, we are speaking of from the physical aspects of the body.)

4. Then, these are the conditions as we find them with this body, [263] we are speaking of, present in this room.

5. In the BLOOD SUPPLY, this we find below normal in the red blood cells and also in the leukocyte, though this variation CHANGES considerably under varying conditions in the body.

6. This, as we find, is both an effect and a cause. While the cause is produced from the poor assimilation that takes place in the digestive system, and the distribution of elements that ARE assimilated by the system to the various portions of the body, these very conditions cause or produce distresses; as seen in the monthly periods, also in the manner in which the throat, the head and the bronchi are affected at times. And these also make for contributory conditions to the inability of proper digestive forces being

263-1 Page 2

carried on through the lower portion of the digestion, or that which is activative in a system when that assimilated is being absorbed through the activity of the jejunum - or even portions of the lower part of stomach.

7. As to the NERVOUS SYSTEM - with the natural conditions produced by the low vitality, the inability of proper assimilation, there is naturally made a high nervous temperament throughout the body. And the low vitality in the system prevents the functioning in a proper or coordinative way and manner under impulse, or overeating, or over physical activity. All produce a varying effect of nerve energy being exercised to carry on IN that portion affected by the exercise, to the detriment of some other portion of the body. Hence we find both the sympathetic and the cerebrospinal nervous system are involved in the disorders in the body, and these - to be sure - show most of their affectation in the body in those portions of the system that make for the closer coordination between the sympathetic and cerebrospinal system; that is, at the base of the head, the head, neck and shoulders at times being under great stress and strain. Especially does this happen just before the monthly periods; causing pains on top of the head, burning of the eyes, dryness in the throat, and irritation generally through the system. And at other periods, when there has been an overactivity physically, pains just below the shoulder blades, across the small of the back and down the lower portion of the limbs, across the pelvic area. All of these suffer from NERVOUS reaction (as we are speaking of, that disturbs the body).

8. The ORGANS THEMSELVES:

9. As we find, brain forces are very good. Those reactions of the sensory organism are very good.

10. The strains under which the lungs and the bronchi work, with the varying quantity and quality of the blood supply that is produced, make for pains in the throat, and especially at the pit of the stomach, around the heart area, or the left side especially. This is a reflex condition, and not an organic disturbance. Rather the inability of the system to be supplied with sufficient oxygen through the quantity and quality of the blood, as it circulates through the pulmonaries. And, as these centers show the strain and stress, then these produce the reflected conditions, or the sympathetic conditions, in the centers that come under strain; which are these that are ineffective in impulse from the cerebrospinal plexus area (from which the organ under stress receives its impulse for activity), and also from the ganglia connected with same through the nerve supplies to

263-1 Page 3

the body.

11. The heart's action is good, considering the variation in both the leukocyte and the red blood cells in their division in the body; though, as we find, that plasm or hormone that makes for coagulation is exceptionally good. Hence the metabolism and katabolism of the system is VERY good, considering the conditions through which the body has passed; though we have a low blood pressure.

12. In the activity of the digestive system, as indicated, there is POOR assimilation. And one fault, as we find, is the position of the stomach itself; for it is tilted in a manner that makes the digestion become of the nature as to produce improper digestive forces or fermentation taking place before there is digestion taking place in the system! (This is a cause and an effect again.) This produces the tendency for dryness throughout the intestinal system, with LITTLE of the lymph circulation that should be carried through same.

13. In the organs of digestion, as the liver, the kidneys, the spleen, the pancreas, these - considering the conditions of the blood supply, of the nerve energies disturbed, are very good as to their organic functioning. There only needs to be added that which will aid them in producing that which will build for the resistances in the body, or stored energy to bring recuperative forces to many portions of the body.

14. As indicated in the nerve reflexes from the conditions existent in the plexuses between the sympathetic and cerebrospinal, and the activities of the forces in the vibrations of the body itself, we find the organs of the pelvis under great stress and strain; and that the organs themselves in their position show the lack of the vital energy and forces necessary in system to bring them to their normal position, after having discharged their functionings through the monthly periods that bring about the portions of elimination in this direction. Were these allowed to REMAIN in such condition, there must not only be added stress, strain and irritation to the body, but there would necessarily arise either plethora in some of the organs or they would become taut in their position and (being out of alignment or position) produce disturbing factors, or else - the coagulation being well balanced in system - make for adhesions or lesions in the organs. As we find, they do not at the present time show such conditions, even by their position or the irritation that is caused in the system at such periods.

15. It might be inferred from that indicated, at first glance, that there is little that is not under stress in

263-1 Page 4

some way or manner. This does not mean to indicate there is disease. Rather there is dis-ease throughout the various portions of the system, through the general lack of vitality for the replenishing and to produce the resistances necessary to meet the various cycles of functioning in the body. Hence only that force that will aid in bringing about the resuscitation in the system, to the vitality and the vital forces of the system, is necessary to make a strong, healthy, well, NORMAL body - as we find the conditions.

16. In meeting the needs of these conditions, then, we would first begin as with this:

17. Through manipulation that may be given by the electrically driven vibrator, make those relaxations in the 3rd, 4th and 5th dorsal area, sufficient that the stomach itself may be pushed - as it were - or drawn, by the contraction of the muscular forces created by the enlivening of these particular centers, to its normal position.

18. Wear a support to keep the stomach in a near normal position, when the activities of the body are necessary. This may be in the form of a bandage or a belt that may be worn about the body.

19. Also use those properties that will produce a better assimilation when foods are taken; that is, at least ONCE each day - for a period of three to four weeks - we would take a small quantity of those properties that will make for the better balancing of the gastric juices for the stomach itself in digestion, which may be found in AL-CAROID. Mix the dosage in a little water and then take TWO glasses of water with it.

20. We would also use the violet ray over the whole cerebrospinal system, following a gentle massage that may be given over the body; and ESPECIALLY should this be given over the lower portion of the cerebrospinal system, particularly in the lower dorsal, lumbar and sacral area.

21. Be mindful that the diet is properly balanced, so that - as the system assimilates - there is given the proper balance of those forces in the organs themselves for the creating of necessary elements to keep the balance in system; that is, blood and nerve building - stamen in the muscular forces.

22. The activities should be of sufficient nature that the energies may be used in the balancing of the elements throughout the body.

23. Give the violet ray each evening, FOLLOWING the massage. The massage need not necessarily be made as corrective measures osteopathically, but may be more in the nature of

263-1 Page 5

the neuropathic. Begin at the base of brain and go TOWARDS the central portion of body. Begin at the lower limbs and go (along the muscular forces on the inside, or following out the sciatic nerve centers along the inside of the limbs) to the trunk portion of body. Then along the cerebrospinal system to the middle portion. Then we would give the violet ray for three to ten minutes each evening. This will so stimulate the circulation to the exterior portions, and vitalize the whole activities through an increased activity of the assimilated forces of the system, as to bring the proper balance in the body.

24. Do not expect immediate relief to be brought from many of those headache periods, or at first correcting the destructive forces that make for distresses through the menstrual periods, but GRADUALLY there will be builded that necessary for the correcting of these forces in the system. And in five to six weeks we may expect a real re-vitalization of the whole body, if these are followed.

25. In the matter of foods that have been indicated, those that are at first easily assimilated but that carry blood, nerve and muscular building elements - or stamen for the whole body.

26. Ready for questions.

27. (Q) Are there any foods that she should avoid? (A) Any that she finds that disagree, or that are hard of digestion. Especially in the first will these be found to be in the highly seasoned, or too much meats without an even balance with the starches and proteins - that are of the nature as of too much fats. These will be hard upon the body, or too much the leafy - as, for THIS body, too much spinach would be just as bad as too much meat! All of these would be hard to ASSIMILATE in the beginning. Do not allow the congestions (from the assimilations and eliminations) to form anywhere through the alimentary canal. If necessary, use enemas or some mild cathartic. But do not become subservient to such. Rather make the corrections through changing the diet to the more laxative foods. Eat plenty of the foods. At first it will be hard, but with the correcting of the stomach itself as to its position and the assimilation of foods, THEN the general vitality and the activities of the body in every way will be well.

28. (Q) How often and how long should she use the vibrator? (A) The more often this is used the better it will be. For the first three or four days it should be used for at least fifteen to twenty minutes in these particular areas given.

263-1 Page 6

Following such periods, if the body will lie flat of the back with the feet very high, this will tend to let the stomach come nearer into position - and it will relieve these pains in the head, especially to the top of the head and the back of the neck. Then bind the stomach. The best manner would be to use a cloth (that is, tape) about the abdomen, that holds the stomach nearer into position. Then as digestion takes place, as indicated, the organs of digestion will work! if they are given the proper consideration in their activity. The AL-CAROID given once each day is to prevent the acid, or the super acidity and the fermentation that has been taking place.

29. (Q) Can the manipulations be given at home? (A) As indicated, it would be better that these would not be mechanically given - or anywhere else!

30. (Q) What is the cause and cure for bad breath of the body? (A) The condition of fermentation in stomach. With this cured or relieved, it of itself naturally disappears.

31. (Q) Is B.C. Powders injurious to the body? Has the body been injured by taking them? (A) As any such powders that act upon the hypogastrics of the system itself as to DEADEN them, they naturally become detrimental to the body - but will relieve those conditions by stimulating to activity nerve plexuses along the system, both by the manipulation and the violet ray.

32. (Q) Should the body wear glasses? (A) With these corrections we will find it will NOT be necessary.

33. (Q) In what minerals is she lacking and what food would supply same? (A) Had there been minerals particularly lacking that were necessary to add before those conditions were corrected, we would have given them. Keep a well-balanced diet, as indicated, taking all the body WILL assimilate - but don't overcrowd; and we will find that the stimulations to all portions of the system - by the manipulative measures to the cerebrospinal system (which stimulate the centers that make for activity of the various glands of the system that secrete the proper forces, provided - of course - the minerals are carried in a well-balanced diet) - will reject those that are not necessary for the system.

34. (Q) What should be done to straighten the shoulders? (A) When we correct much of those conditions along the cerebrospinal system, by the general manipulation (and we

263-1 Page 7

bind that portion to hold the body in place), much of this may be easily overcome.

35. (Q) Is the incision made when she was operated for appendicitis properly healed? (A) Properly healed at present. The whole stature of the body will be changed, you see, with the holding of the stomach itself in proper position. This will allow more the activities in the whole system to BRING the proper coordination, the assimilation and the elimination of any tendencies towards improper coagulations throughout the body.

36. (Q) How much water should the body drink daily? (A) At least sixteen glasses full!

37. (Q) What is good for falling hair? (A) The foods that we have suggested will be the best things for the body, especially with the electricity in the body.

38. (Q) Is "Inner Clean" good for the body to take? (A) Not under the existent conditions!

39. (Q) What might be expected should this body not follow the directions given? (A) As indicated, one of two conditions. There may be the necessity of an operation in the pelvic system, or the lung troubles.

40. (Q) What will remove superfluous hair that may be growing in moles and on face? (A) The electrical forces applied through these conditions will remove all those tendencies for the functionings of the glands of the thyroids to an excess, and then - when we have balanced the system better - these may be given with more surety of their being effective with the existent conditions at that time. Let's balance the system so that the organs are properly set, that tend to make tendencies in that direction. Superfluous hair or moles are the activities of the glands, especially of the thyroids, being over effective or over-active in the system. [Hyperthyroidism?] To correct the system so that a balance is kept will make for a better tendency of equilibrium. [See 263-11, Par. 10-A indicating hypothyroidism.]

41. (Q) What treatment should her teeth have? (A) The general care that should be taken for these at all times; brushing at least three times - or two times each day; and keeping the attention locally that is necessary to prevent the occurrence of breaking the enamel, or the like.

42. (Q) To what musical note and what color or colors does she vibrate? (A) To those colors of purple and some shades of red. The

263-1 Page 8

notes or the vibrations in the musical forces may be known as the tempo of C.

43. (Q) Any spiritual advice? (A) Know that all effective forces that may be added to the body must be in coordination with the spiritual activities of the body itself, for they are One. The elements that may make for the correction of physical conditions in the body must come from the same source as Life itself, and must be made coordinative through the system by the act of the mental body itself.
