Time of Reading 11:10 to 11:30 A. M. Eastern Standard Time. ..., Ky. (Physical Suggestion)

1. EC: Yes, we have the body here, and those conditions that disturb the better physical functioning of the body; these we have had before.

2. Now, in many respects WE find the conditions improved.

3. While the body is very weak from exhaustion, taxation, and the like, unless there is fresh cold taken - or the diet is such that the eliminating of the congestion through the regular channels is stopped, and a heart action recur from the poisons in system - the body should continue, at least for the present, to be on an improve.

4. The properties that have been and are being given are acting well with the body.

5. Should there continue to be the lack of the kidneys functioning, then we would give very small doses of Sweet Spirits of Nitre; or this may be added - one drop - to a dose of the cough medicine, or one drop may be given in the Al-caroid powder; but this of itself (the Al-caroid) should tend to make for more activity, or a more COORDINATING of kidneys.

6. To be sure, cold or congestion would affect the heart, but for the body to rest - or to be having the appearance of stupors, unless there are other complications - this is well for the body.

7. Otherwise, we would keep much of that - for the present - that has been outlined for the body.

8. Ready for questions.

9. (Q) Please outline specifically what the diet should be at present. (A) This has been outlined very well, and should be kept more in line with that given - see? More of the pre-digested, or that EASILY digested or assimilated by the body. Eggs, toast, coffee is very good (provided, to be sure, it is very fresh when given), and the dry milks -

occasionally eggnog, toddy or the like, as a stimuli would be very good; but we would continue with the Bile Salts tablets, as well as the Al-caroid, so long as there is the necessity of easy assimilation and elimination. Naturally, weakness arises from coughing, from irritations, from poisons, and well that the general strength be builded up with beef juices, egg and milk drinks, and the easily assimilated foods.

10. (Q) How many of the Bile Tablets should be taken each day? (A) This depends upon the activity of the system. There must be some consistency. There is not the necessity of over-STRAINING the system - see? but that there is a continued tendency for EXCESS eliminations through the alimentary canal.

11. (Q) How often should the Al-caroid be taken? (A) This is to be taken after meals, for digestion and assimilation see?

12. (Q) How often may the cough syrup be taken? (A) Whenever necessary to allay the tickling, or the irritation in throat and bronchi.

13. (Q) Any suggestions to prevent cold or congestion? (A) Do not be over-active in a manner that tends to make for cold. The atmospheric conditions, the atmospheric pressure, the outside these we cannot change, but we may meet these by the precautions necessary for the preventative of conditions.

14. (Q) How often should the Spirits of Nitre be given? With each dose of the cough medicine? (A) This has just been outlined. Dependent upon the activity of the kidneys. We do not desire to produce irritation in ANY functioning, but we do not wish to cause poisons to accumulate in any portion where they have been over-active.

15. (Q) Any further suggestions for relief of this body? (A) We would follow these as we have given, at present.

16. We are through for the present. Copy to Mrs. [760], her sister " " Mrs. [538] & Mr. [698], her children " " File
