Time of Reading 11:00 to 11:20 A. M. Eastern Standard Time. ..., Ky. (Physical Suggestion)

1. EC: Yes, we have the body here, Mrs. [265]; this we have had before.

2. As we find, conditions-physical are not so good, as these are showing the signs of the stress that is being made on the heart's activity through the increased pressure.

3. Hence the tired feelings, the weakness, the tendency for coughing, the headaches, the general feeling at times as if the body is separating itself from the skin, a burning sensation oft in the pit of the stomach, and the shortness of breath when there are any exercises that cause any activity of the heart's action.

4. That which would aid the more in the present condition, as we find, would be the use of the high enemas to alleviate the tendencies for the system to clog, and to make for those increases in the blood pressure.

5. We find also that a very small quantity of digitalis, or digitol, given under the direction of a physician, would be helpful; and those vibrations from the electrically driven vibrator, that will relieve the pressure. This treatment should be given particularly from the waist down, when the body is lying prone, and - when it is sitting erect, or in chair - from the central portion, or 9th and 10th dorsal, upward - along the arms and over the shoulders. These would relieve the pressures, as we find.

6. We would not take too much of those properties as to produce the reactions through eliminations, when the enemas are used. These may be given, or taken, each day; provided they are used in this manner:

7. In the first gallon of water that is injected we would use a tablespoonful of salt and a tablespoonful and a half (that is, level, of course) of baking soda.

8. And in the last water injected (after the first has been eliminated or evacuated from the system, and the system cleansed), use two teaspoonsful of Glyco-Thymoline to a quart and a half of water.

9. This will prevent irritation, it should also reduce the pressure that makes for the heart's dilation, and the pressure for the stomach and diaphragm - especially that in the transverse and descending colon, that causes those tendencies for the cough, see?

10. The irritation that is produced in the muco-membranes of throat and head BY this tendency of coughing, will be materially reduced by the use of the inhalent (necessitating, of course, that these be altered - as to the gases or the effluvia thrown off). To 4 ounces of pure grain alcohol, in an 8 ounce widemouth bottle, add: Eucalyptol, Oil of.............20 minims, Benzosol (in solution).........10 mimims, Rectified Oil of Turp...........5 minims, Benzoin, or Tincture of Benzoin...............5 minims, Tolu in solution...............20 minims.

11. Shake this together and inhale as much through the nostril as into the throat, see? This will relieve the tendency for tickling sensation that comes from irritation from the pressure. This is not to be used too often, to be sure, for it would tend to dry the muco-membranes.

12. Ready for questions.

13. (Q) What about the diet? What will stimulate the appetite? (A) Beef juices, junket, arrowroot (these, necessarily, should be cold, see - all of these); and Beef, Iron and Wine would be helpful, if it is taken just a little at the time. The juices of vegetables, or soups - these jellied, or cold, would be well.

14. (Q) Should the Bile Salts and Al-Caroid be discontinued entirely? (A) The Bile Salts tablets may be discontinued almost entirely. The Al-Caroid will be well to take when there is the fullness in the stomach. But the most of the eliminations should be cared for through use of the enemas.

15. (Q) Should any other stimulant be given for the weakness? (A) This as we have given would be the preferable way and manner. These properties will not be as weakening to the system, see; for the pressure and the dilation is already weakening, of course, to the body. But the amounts, and the giving of Digitale, or Digitallis (these, of course, are in their various forms, see?), should be under the direction of a physician.

16. (Q) It will not be necessary, then, to take anything for cough? (A) You are taking aplenty, if you use the inhalent and the

enema. The enema is to remove the fullness in the colon, that causes pressure; as well as reducing the blood pressure that is seen - from the manner in which the vibrations are to be given, see?

17. (Q) How often should they be given? (A) Once a day, at least; oftener if necessary. That to the lower part, with the body PRONE. Now, there's reasons for these, you see! That with the upper portion, with the body sitting erect. We come FROM the center, of course, TO the extremities. Do not massage any portion TOWARDS the heart, see? It's going away from!

18. (Q) Any further advice at this time? (A) Do this for the present. The conditions, of course, are serious.

19. We are through for the present. Two copies to Mrs. [538]; one for Mr. [2698] Copy to File
