1. GC: Now you have before you [270], Room ... St., Chicago, Ill., and his associations regarding a tract of land known as Lot 5, Block 27, Glencoe, Ill. You will answer the following questions regarding same, as I ask them.

2. EC: Yes, we have the body and the conditions here. We have had these before, you see. There have very recently been some transactions, and some prospect and offers regarding this same tract of land. Very recent. The outcome of these should follow in the way as has been given. The offers for some have been made. The conditions surrounding these not satisfactory, for there has been too much commission wanted to be charged on handling same.

3. (Q) Please give information in regard to present value, and prospects of immediate sale, of a tract of land owned by [270], and known as Lot 5, Block 27, Glencoe, Ill. (A) As given, the tract of land is valuable. The valuation of same has increased, even since last we have had this. There are prospects of portions of this tract, this block, becoming more valuable in the Spring, for there is the possibility of there being improvements in this vicinity that would greatly increase the valuation. There is, has been, offer for a portion of this tract. This we would dispose of, and hold portions of the block.

4. (Q) Please state if any special arrangements, such as advertising, or listing with additional realtors, would hasten sale? (A) We do not find the necessity for additional listing, under present conditions. Should, however, the body, [270], not decide to accept offer for the portion, then would be well to list with others, or to make a division of same.

5. (Q) Will this sale be closed in time to invest additional funds in The Telegram Oil Company, or would it be better to re-invest in some other way? (A) A portion may be disposed of in time to invest in Telegram Oil Company, which would prove to be profitable, when the operations of [See [4905] series] same are carried out as has been given.
