Time of Reading Room ..., ... St., 12:00 Noon - Eastern Standard Time. San Francisco, Calif.

1. GC: You will have before you the body and the enquiring mind of [270], Room ... St., San Francisco, Calif., who now seeks further light to guide his actions, having had time during the past 90 days to align his mental faculties to the change in location and situation. You will also answer any other questions that may be asked of you pertaining to the physical conditions and financial welfare of this body.

2. EC: Yes, we have the body, the enquiring mind, [270]. This we have before. Now, we find there are both satisfaction and discontent with the body at the present time, as respecting associations, surroundings, and conditions. However, we will find that, while there was some animosity exhibited on the part of those as influenced the body in the changes in the conditions, if the body [270] will keep in mind those tenets, those characteristic actions as have been outlined as to how the body, the mind, should conduct itself as regarding associations, affiliations with others in the various departments of its work, and of its affiliation with the various phases of the work in the different channels, within the next eighteen months changes should come about - material changes - that would aid the body in the directions as have been sought.

3. This, however, should be stamped upon the mental vision of the body, indelibly - that, to make power, position, or money, a portion or a whole of the outline of the life, is to build upon treacherous ground, and must bring discontent, dissatisfaction in life, in associations of life, both internal and abroad.

4. Rather seek, first, to manifest through the daily labors, in whatever channel a body may work, the glorious manifestations of the divine energy as is manifest in every phase of life - for all are examples of that which one worships, and if these be gods of stone, wood, or power or position, or that which they represent - rather than to eschew evil, do good to thine neighbor, for this is that way

of the Lord that BRINGS satisfaction, contentment, and a worth while life.

5. Ready for questions.

6. (Q) Will body remain in San Francisco - (A) If it so desires, it may!

7. (Q) Would anything material be gained by making an official exposition to the President - [of the Co. of methods employed in effecting my transfer to S.F. office?] (A) (Interrupting) Except make a simpleton of self!

8. (Q) Did those associates, Green and Whitehead, who were so insistent of its acceptance, act in the best interests for the body? Should they be trusted again? (A) Had they been, would we have given differently? for, as has been seen, this, as we have given the body, was wherein the body allowed the influence of others - through the affluence of their positions - to override good judgement within the body of self and the application of will in a sense, wherein retardment to the development of individual abilities of the body itself were questioned, are questioned, and will have to be worked out; for, to make one's self subservient to ANY individual man, place or position, to the knowledge of that as is innate within self, is to make one a servant of that one but, has it not rather been given that, "Ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free"? and ye shall be free indeed - ye who seek first the kingdom from within? Then all these things may be added unto you.

9. (Q) Will the physical condition of this body reflect improvement during its stay in San Francisco? (A) It may, or it may NOT - dependent upon the course pursued by the body itself in making its life and the conduct of its life such as to reflect that, or the other, in its experience.

10. (Q) Will the body's financial condition be successful? Will it be said now if the Western Union stock he continues to hold - (A) Continue to hold same!

11. (Q) Should body purchase United States Radio & Television on the Chicago board? (A) It's very good, if able to hold for a great period of time - for this must eventually, either in its present surroundings or its combinations with others, become very valuable. But, most of all, what should be done with the proceeds of same? Let not thine good be evil spoken of. [Rom. 14:16]

12. (Q) Standard Brands on the N.Y. board? (A) Standard Brands are good.

13. (Q) And May Wheat on the Winnepeg Exchange now for future enhanced values? (A) If held outright, are good. They are of a long time duration, with much changes - but the shortages as have been given are apparent, and if held - not as speculative, but as holdings, WELL as speculative, poor at present.

14. (Q) Are there any other matters, pertaining to spiritual, material or physical conditions of this body, that it should be informed of at this time? (A) Keep thine self in the way that, where in the actions of the body, the speech of the mouth, the thought of the mind, is in such an accord with the divine influences that the body may contact in and through self, and in the study or in the wee small hours of thought, make itself attune to those divine energies as are manifest in life, and be not ashamed to meet such actions, such thoughts, such deeds, on the morrow.
