Time of Reading Set bet. 10:00 to 11:00 Room ..., Taken 10:55 to 11:20 A. M. Eastern Standard Time. S.F., Ca. (Body and enquiring mind. Questions.)
1. EC: Yes, we have the body, the enquiring mind, [270]; this we have had before.
2. As we find, first, as a comment - he hasn't gained much more hair yet!
3. This would be materially aided if there would be the use of plain hog lard; just a little massaged into the scalp about twice a week, and then cleansed with plain soap and water - preferably just Castile soap and lukewarm water.
4. Then the general health, general conditions would be much improved.
5. As to the physical forces of the body; these, as we find, in a general manner are maintaining an equilibrium.
6. While there may, with the proper kind of precautions taken, be some little weight added, we would do this not with the use of sweets or too great a quantity of starches. Let it be rather from physical exercise, that might be taken more consistently in a gym or the like; for the strengthening of the sinew and muscular forces through the body, from too great a tendency for the mental activities and the lack of physical exercises.
7. These, as we find, WITH those general treatments for the neck, would keep a normal equilibrium in the metabolism, in the digestive forces, in the general welfare of the physical body.
8. Ready for questions.
9. (Q) How does the physical condition compare with that found before? (A) As just indicated, very good; though it would be very well for those exercises to be taken in the manner suggested, to make for the strengthening of the sinew and muscular forces in the extremities of the body particularly. Thus those tendencies for too great an expansion about the waist will be reduced, and there will be the filling out for
270-35 Page 2
the face, arms, neck, chest and the like.
10. (Q) What is the condition of heart, lungs, kidneys? (A) As just indicated, with the proper precautions in the manner of the exercises we may keep these in a near normal balance. This has been given.
11. (Q) Is Atomidine and Carbon Ash taken at proper intervals? (A) Very good; though these may be put at farther intervals if the physical exercises as indicated are taken by the body in the present. For there should be at least once or twice a week a work out of an hour or hour and a half. Hand ball, springboard, the horses, the rowing machine, the use of the dumbbells, the weights, the pulleys; all of these would be most helpful. The horses, the vibrating machine - all of these are most helpful - hand ball, and all the like.
12. (Q) Is the pain and stiffness in back of head and neck being treated correctly? (A) This has been indicated, and was taken into consideration in that outlined. Read what has just been given, or listen.
13. (Q) It has been given - this body is one who analyzes conditions unless it be matters of heart. Will you explain the exception, as this body feels its analytical faculty and creative mind is in a rut. (A) As it has been indicated for the body in the information given, there are those tendencies from influences of sojourns - or activities of the entity under certain, definite environments - that make for weakness in those matters pertaining to the affairs of the heart, and such relationships, with those of the opposite sex. And this prevents the body from making such an analysis of situations, conditions or activities or relations, as would ordinarily be expected in the light of the abilities of the entity in the regular business relationships, economic conditions, or activities of such natures. These abilities are the natural results. Then, by mental training - or by mental activity, or by taking upon self comparisons in such relationships - there may be evolved or developed or brought about a strengthening of self in that particular or individual direction. Yet there would be a great tendency for the body to become lopsided. Hence, in making the analysis of such things pertaining to the greater relations in economic conditions, or in the political economy, or those activities in the State or business or social relationships, the entity may prevent self from keeping in - or coming into - a rut; by making or drawing for self the comparisons, owing to various
270-35 Page 3
conditions. Keep abreast with the general activities, by comparisons of the various individuals who have written or who have demonstrated such activities in the political or economic or social or general welfare. This will make for a stimulation to the body in these directions. Also, this will make an INTERESTING activity for the body.
14. (Q) Are restraining influences that have impeded culmination of real ability being overcome? (A) Being overcome, and will be MORE so if there are the activities in those directions indicated.
15. (Q) For guidance give a comprehensive discernment of the vocational ability of this individual. (A) This has been well done, as to the abilities of the individual in those things pertaining to certain developments in the line of communications and their relationships with not only individuals but groups, states, nations, and the various activities. Then, to engage self - or the mental activities of same, it is well that the body EXERCISE the faculties; not in making things that become as lopsided, but in keeping an even balance upon any and all questions pertaining to such conditions or problems. And these would make for a general stimulation for the mental body, just as indicated for the physical body that the muscular forces and tendons should be exercised in order to make for the strengthening to the general physical body. The body-mind and the body-abilities are in the same relationships. Work on the solving of this or that problem, draw the conclusions on this or that problem, pertaining even not to the activities of the entity in the present or of the associates or superiors of the entity in that attempting to be accomplished! Study the inclinations for the reading and application of such things that have been accomplished in the lives of others, and thus we may stimulate the activity in the mental efficiencies of the body in such a way as to make for greater improvements in all of these directions.
16. (Q) Do actions speak louder than words, and by that token are some of my associates (not my superiors) intolerant towards me? (A) Actions speak louder than words; thus these at times in the minds of the superiors as well as in the associates of the entity have made for the appearances of its superiority in some directions. Remember, HUMBLENESS - and he that would be the greatest among his associates, his superiors, will be servant of all.

17. (Q) Feb. 13th this body will pass another milestone in its life cycle. Does the immediate future denote advancement and progress in Western Union Service and normal health? (A) All things considered, the general conditions that are indicated - especially during the middle portion of the year and the latter portion of this present year, or this coming year - show a most satisfactory advancement, and most AGREEABLE conditions for the body.
18. (Q) Will amendment to Federal Social Security Act permit continued operation of the meritorious Western Union Pension Plan? (A) For the time being, as we find, there will be an interference with same; but gradually, during the middle or latter portion of the year, it should be brought to a satisfactory conclusion.
19. (Q) Will the Democratic party be defeated in November National Election? (A) This will depend upon a GREAT MANY conditions that are to be considered, and depend upon the nominee of the parties that will be in opposition to those already in power. But in the GENERAL conditions, as indicated in the present, these will NOT be in power (the Democratic party). But this, of course, depends upon issues and many conditions that are to be indicated by the activities of those in power, those IN authority in the present. For there are indications of some very strenuous conditions between February and June 19th, which would indicate that there would be rather the lack of leadership even in the Democratic party.
20. (Q) Would a constitutional amendment authorizing the Government to regulate agriculture and industry be accepted by the people? (A) It would be accepted by the people but not be accepted by those who are in power; as of certain trusts and certain corporations and certain groups. As a mass, yes. As individuals or masses CONTROLLING many, no.
21. (Q) Would an amendment limiting present authority of the Supreme Court in such matters be acceptable to people? (A) No.
22. (Q) Will business of the Western Union show a normal upward trend this year, notwithstanding the National Election? (A) As we find, it will show rather a greater increase than normal.
23. (Q) Should Great Lakes Aircraft reorganization plan and the proposed stock exchange of Preferred for Common be accepted? (A) Be accepted. This is the best proposition that has been offered, and would be acceptable.
270-35 Page 5
24. (Q) Will California Art Tile pay an average dividend on its Class A stock this year, and what amount? (A) It will exceed by at least one and one-half percent that which has been the normal payment on such.
25. (Q) From an investment standpoint, is Spicer Manufacturing Co. of Toledo, Ohio, regarded as reliable and satisfactory? (A) More recently there have been some disturbances in this organization and in its activities, and in its reclassifications; owing to conditions that arose through the connections with certain specific activities that have made it rather unsatisfactory. However, if the processes are carried through that are indicated as being attempted - for the latter part of the month's meeting; plans for the reorganization and refinancing in certain portions of its activities, then it would become a very desirable association. If this is not accomplished, sooner or later it must come upon its own self.
26. (Q) Should not action be taken to recover investment in Nevada Mining Project? (A) Yes. For, as indicated in the last, if those were carried through then there would be the ability to carry on with it. And these were in the greater manner carried through; and there's no reason now that these should not be brought before the authorities - respecting the general output and general activities for same. Some conditions are being covered up.
27. (Q) Is there any information concerning the sale of property at 2314 W. Jackson Blvd., Chicago? (A) As we have indicated before, there were certain periods when the sale of this would have been the most satisfactory; for the sale or the disposition or the giving away in the activity of same. Some of these were overlooked, some passed by, and at others the property has been held for better activities. As we find, in April - between April and May - should be the greater activities that would make a possibility for the change or the movement of same, or the exchange of same.
28. (Q) What is the primary cause of earthquakes? Will San Francisco suffer from such a catastrophe this year? If so, give date, time and information for the guidance of this body, who has personal property, records and a wife, all of which it wishes safety. (A) We do not find that this particular district (San Francisco) in the present year will suffer the great MATERIAL damages that HAVE been experienced heretofore. While portions of the country will be affected, we find these will be farther EAST than San Francisco - or those
270-35 Page 6
SOUTH, where there has NOT been heretofore the greater activity. The causes of these, of course, are the movements about the earth; that is, internally - and the cosmic activity or influence of other planetary forces and stars and their relationships produce or bring about the activities of the elementals of the earth; that is, the Earth, the Air, the Fire, the Water - and those combinations make for the replacements in the various activities. If there are the greater activities in the Vesuvius, or Pelee, then the southern coast of California - and the areas between Salt Lake and the southern portions of Nevada - may expect, within the three months following same, an inundation by the earthquakes. But these, as we find, are to be more in the southern than in the northern hemisphere.
