Time of Reading 10:50 to 11:25 A. M. Eastern Standard Time. San Fran., Ca. (Body and enquiring mind, who seeks advice and guidance as to his mental-material, spiritual status and development. Questions.)
1. EC: Yes, we have the body, the enquiring mind, and those conditions in the physical, the mental and the material and spiritual experiences of the entity.
2. Ready for questions.
3. (Q) Regarding physical: Is there a condition developing in one of the glands that needs attention? Outline treatment. (A) A glandular disturbance is indicated by the swelling or the accumulations on the neck, and as we find a diet, exercise, local applications are indicated as being the better for making the proper corrections in the physical forces at this time. [Carbuncle on back of neck] In the diet, keep a better balance in glandular secretion and glandular activity - as may be had by having some portion of each meal (save the breakfast) to include a green, raw vegetable; as lettuce, celery, carrots, radish, cabbage, mustard, spinach or a combination of any or all of these, preferably with an oil dressing. Take internally small quantities again of Atomidine, one minim of morning before any meal is taken, in half a glass of water. Take for five days, leave off for five days, then take again. Repeat this for about thirty to forty days, taking and leaving off, then leave off for a month or more; and then take another course of same. Local applications for the prevention of the muscular forces giving away to the rising would be equal portions of Mutton Tallow (or Mutton Suet), Turpentine, Camphor and Compound Tincture of Benzoin. This combination should be massaged gently, not severely, not by a pad but gently massaged, night and morning, over not only the swollen places but

about the neck, and then cleansed with not a wet but moist cloth. This as we find would be most beneficial. Also we would have a few adjustments occasionally, osteopathically, in the upper dorsal and throughout the cervical area.
4. (Q) Improved condition of the hair is noticeable. Should same treatment be continued? (A) This as we find is very well. Any application for a general condition or nature is better if applied for periods of three to four weeks (or less), as may be indicated, then rest a period allowing the system to adjust itself, for as is understood by the body there is every element in the active forces of the body (normal) for normal and proper development. Hence this gives these an opportunity to be secreted and become effective by assimilation for the blood stream and circulatory forces of the body in such way from the physical as well as the material applications as may be made from time to time. Thus the same is consistent with that where disturbances have been indicated in any portion of the body.
5. (Q) What exercise is preferable? (A) Not necessarily so much exercise for this particular disturbance as for the general influences of the body; not particular exercises for the hair, but in general as much in the open as possible - as is indicated in most cases.
6. (Q) Material affairs: Centralization of plant accounting work at N.Y., Chicago and Omaha is now complete. Do conditions based on four months' operation indicate satisfactory results? (A) Satisfactory results so far as the individual activities of the body, [270] are concerned. In some directions, as has been noted and indicated heretofore, these are not altogether in the basic organization satisfactory as yet. So far as the body is concerned, satisfactory.
7. (Q) Have my efforts respecting the movement of current work to Omaha, my relationship and cooperative attitude to those handling there been conducive of the desired results? (A) They have.
8. (Q) Outline other contemplated plans involving perhaps greater changes in the association and organization and state how these will affect me. (A) These of course depend upon many rulings that have to do with national and international associations in those things that have been indicated, and are as yet too far away to be given as a part of effective influences in the
270-39 Page 3
activities of the body, [270]. As we find, as has heretofore been indicated, there are possibilities and probabilities for changes in the advance associations as may be developments for more of the communicative activities in relationships to a greater centralization in and about Baltimore, as has been indicated; but this again is dependent upon the general considerations of a greater consolidation in radio, telegraph and the associated activities between all communicative lines; and these are merely as prospective - or opportunities that may become a little later a part of the associated activities of this body. But keeping in line in self, and especially in some of the interests that are a part of the body's activities in the present, keeps the body more in line with changes as they may come about.
9. (Q) On these factors then hinge my advancement? (A) Hinge on your advancement, yes.
10. (Q) Are plans sufficiently definite now that I may be informed as to location, capacity and date transfer will materialize? (A) As has been indicated these are not sufficiently definite yet, unless there is the ability for the rulings - as has been indicated - to become a part of national and international associations that have to do with communicative forces or communicative commissions and their relationships with state and interstate commerce departments. These of course enter then somewhat into the political situations, though are being attempted by all to be kept apart - but are not being neglected or forgotten.
11. (Q) Considering the foregoing and possibility of my transfer, should plans to buy or build a home be delayed for present? (A) This of course is merely - That is, the delaying should not be on account of any change, but such activity should be - rather in line with what would be considered good business, or as to building or prospecting activities during these periods when there is the better activity. But as we find - best delay.
12. (Q) Conversely with inflation still evident, is it not desirable to acquire real estate? (A) Desirable to acquire real estate, but we would not - even though prospects are very good for the immediate - acquire same in San Francisco or vicinity.
13. (Q) Will the efforts to have some employees leave the association and affiliate with the C.I.O. be successful? (A) Eventually, not in the immediate.
14. (Q) Even though the current price is below normal, is the W.U. Teleg. Co.'s stock a desirable and satisfactory investment?
270-39 Page 4
(A) A desirable and satisfactory investment, and if there is the completion of indications as indicated above - MOST desirable to hold same.
15. (Q) Is Pacific Coast Aggregates Co. stock a safe and reliable investment and will the building program enhance its value? (A) This will enhance its value but there are other considerations that would make it not as desirable as some other investments.
16. (Q) What are the prospects for activity in Cities Service Common for the immediate future? (A) This is very good. For while their expansions are at present demanding a great deal of activity that has prevented and does prevent this stock from advancing, as we find through especially the periods of the next four to six months this will be quite an active stock.
17. (Q) Will an acceptable price be offered for the property at 2314 W. Jackson Blvd., Chicago, this Spring? (A) As we find rather in the early summer would this be the more satisfactory.
18. (Q) Should it be advertised for sale or with improved conditions? Evidently is it advisable to await future developments? (A) Improved conditions should make for the evident changes; but let it be known that it is on the market.
19. (Q) You will now have before you a drawing in preliminary form which sets forth the idea for Radio antenna discussed in a previous Reading. You will comment thereon and advise if the proposed construction is correct. (A) This as we find in the main is in the ideals and plans wherein there may be the less interference in the activities of an antenna of this nature. Naturally there are the needs for some greater activity to be shown not only in the mere drawing and the synthesis for the presenting of the idea, but to make it more practical in the investigations by actual tests in operative forces. It hasn't just as yet reached that stage where all of the points are to be covered by a process of making application for the preserving or protection of rights through patents, but when these have been made a little farther in the advance of investigations, this we would advise would be well; and in making same, use not the own local attorney nor the local connections but rather extend it just as far apart as it may be - or make it rather in New York, see? So when the presenting of same is to be made, it may go
270-39 Page 5
directly to Sarnoff or to the head considerations of the Radio Corporation; and these will have a most unusual effect upon the general conditions not only of the body [270] but of many of the associations and connections that have been a part of this evolution or development of the idea in the mind of [270].
20. (Q) Will this idea when placed in material form render a satisfactory service? (A) As has been indicated.
21. (Q) For construction materials will copper-weld and Pyrex give best results? (A) This as has been indicated heretofore, and as we find still, is an ideal manner in which to be used. And in the connections where there is the necessity for the formation of the aisles along which the activities of these are to be protected, use not the common or ordinary way of protecting it from losing or draining the influence of the activity of the radio forces upon same, but use Ajax - or a new character of protection, see?
22. (Q) Will this combination prevent magnetized forces decreasing volume? (A) This is just what we were talking about in this! This is the effect of it, and then where there are the connections necessary for the prevention of the loss of power by activities that are to protect same, use this new type of insulation.
23. (Q) Should a patent be applied for and will the application be granted? (A) As has been indicated, there must be a little bit more practical work carried on, on same, that all of these necessary fields may be covered, see? and then it will be, as we find, not only granted but if carried through the channels as indicated would be very well; for we will then make a closer connection with those who would be in a field where consideration from the heads would be in order.
24. (Q) Would the manufacture and sale of this antenna-unit prove successful? (A) This to be sure depends upon the work that is done on same farther along in making same practical.
25. (Q) Shall I undertake this enterprise? (A) As has been indicated, it should be carried forward.
26. (Q) Any further advice for the body at this time? (A) Whole periods, of course, might be given to this particular form of activity and development of this - but it requires as we find some practical demonstration as to the practicability of the use of such an antenna in not only engineering work in the drawing but engineering work in the
270-39 Page 6
actual application. In the spiritual and mental - and material, as well as the physical forces - let the body keep constructive; never allowing destructive influences or forces to enter mind, body or material outbursts of self in its emotions or in its activities; and these will make for more harmonious forces in every action. Be willing, be ready; ask - and live that in self - to be a channel for the expression of Creative Forces or God; and the activities, the developments, physically, mentally, spiritually, will be in keeping with that meted to others. For as ye mete to thy brother, ye mete to thy Maker.
