Time of Reading 11:30 to 11:45 A. M. Eastern Standard Time. San Fran., Ca. (Body and enquiring mind, who seeks information regarding his health, his mental and material affairs. Ques.)

1. EC: Yes, we have the body and the enquiring mind, [270]; this we have had before.

2. In making a comparison in the physical reactions, as we find while there are some changes in the general physical conditions, these are as we find in the main most satisfactory.

3. It is true there should be taken those precautions as to the metabolism and the blood supply and pressure.

4. Still, with the diet and the activities kept as has been outlined for the body, we should keep the near to normal reactions - unless other disturbances enter than are indicated in the present.

5. As to the exercises, we find that walking and any exercise in the open - to be sure - is preferable, especially in this season of the year, to those that may be of a more specific nature taken within.

6. Yet as we find, the occasionally given applications for the general coordination of the superficial and the deeper circulation would still be advisable; that is, the deep therapy as of the hydrotherapy cleansing of the colon, cleansing the superficial circulation in the Turkish or Swedish massage. However, these would be taken just occasionally - two to three to four weeks apart is sufficient.

7. The diets are fairly well balanced. For most of the glandular reaction is very good.

8. While there are still those conditions desirable for the better reactions through the scalp and the toning of the system as related to the activity of the glandular forces from the thyroid's reaction, these as we find - so far as the scalp is concerned - should be kept as has been indicated and with those activities that have been used. While there is not indicated so much of the return reaction

as yet, we find that the applications are preventing further inroads upon the fissure [?] activities of the deeper glands from which the hair emanates or arises.

9. Then in the whole keep those things indicated, following those suggestions as indicated for activities in diet, and the activities indicated here, in a consistent and rather persistent manner.

10. Ready for questions.

11. (Q) Will the present treatment overcome bald spots? (A) As just indicated, rather it will prevent further inroads - and will aid or stimulate the growth, of course.

12. (Q) Do present eye glasses provide normal sight? At times the left eyelid seems to drop and grate. (A) As we find, these are fairly accurate in the present. With the hydrotherapy activities taken as indicated, and the head and neck exercises a little bit more, these will stimulate the eyes and prevent any reactions that are not satisfactory.

13. (Q) At times the left eyelid seems to drop and grate. (A) As indicated, we would keep the exercises occasionally - two to three minutes; that is, minute and a half in the morning and a minute and a half in the evening, preferably.

14. (Q) In probating the will of my mother, who passed away January 11th, and considering the attitude of my brother, are there any precautionary measures which should be exercised? (A) As we find, unless other conditions arise than indicated in the immediate, these will be worked out most satisfactorily. If there is the insistence, we would sell the whole of the property rather than attempt to hold on at those figures; that there MAY be the whole activity as to bring a satisfactory reaction.

15. (Q) A mortgage of $1,000 on real estate at 2314 West Jackson Blvd., Chicago, comes due May 26, 1938. To meet this and protect the estate, it is planned to borrow funds on two life insurance policies. Is this procedure proper, or should the proposal to sell the place for $4,500 be accepted? (A) It's just as has been indicated. If it necessitates making a loan or borrowing upon the insurance in such a manner as to cause disagreements, then it would be better to sell.

16. (Q) Is the body's efforts respecting the movements of work of Omaha, its relationship and cooperative attitude been conducive of the desired results? (A) As we find, these are in line and are conducive to the most satisfactory results. Still as we find there should be kept in mind, as indicated for the body, those activities as related to what appears to be the needs as to closer

cooperation with all of the communicating lines of the R.C.A., the A.T. & T., and the Western Union. These are drawing more and more, and the activities as we find should be possible by 1940 or 1941 - when there should be a union complete, see? Hence the abilities, and the activities of the entity in and about the greater center - or Baltimore - as we find will become the greater center for the activities of the UNITED efforts in these directions - are better for the entity to keep in mind; and insist that the opportunities for the self in these fields of activity be given.

17. (Q) Outline contemplated plans involving other changes in association and organization, especially those activities respecting Baltimore. (A) As indicated, these will come about as we find - of a PHYSICAL action or union - about 1940 or 1941. But the abilities of the body in relation to communicative activities and his interests in these should be in insisting that the opportunities for the self be given in those fields.

18. (Q) Advise the best way to keep in line with this activity and the plans. (A) Just keep in touch with what is being accomplished; the schools, the instructions that are being carried on in this particular field, and this particular place, for such a physical union and such an association or activity. Keep in touch with all of these.

19. (Q) Referring to the experimental model of the radio antenna: Is the drawing power and selectivity mitigated because no aisles were provided? (A) This as we find is true. And to obtain the better effect in these, then these of a nature - or the bulbs or balls that are made to be put in that shape for same should be about two and one-half to three inches, or three and one- half inches in diameter.

20. (Q) What depth? (A) About three and one-half inches.

21. (Q) Are the irregular offsets spaced properly? (A) These are very well.

22. (Q) Would coarse grain heavy glass provide a satisfactory container? (A) The Pyrex as indicated is the better, but the coarse grain may work satisfactorily - if it is made sufficiently irregular.

23. (Q) Were satisfactory materials used and is the workmanship proper?

270-40 Page 4

(A) This is in line of being correct. And necessitates, of course, more experimentations, the variations of the effect of the wave and the effect of the channels on the reception or the antenna, see? or the selectivity.

24. (Q) Explain the character of the Ajax protection. Is this electrical? (A) We don't find these.

25. (Q) Has the company's application for a rate increase advanced to the point where the outcome may be indicated? (A) Not as yet. These, of course, depend a great deal upon other conditions that are at this time in the balance, as related to the interstate reaction as well as union reactions.

26. (Q) There are continued rumors of a consolidation. Is this nearing amalgamation? (A) As indicated, as to about the time and the period.

27. (Q) Is W.U.T. Co. and I.T. & T. still regarded good investments with possibilities of enhancement in values? (A) As we find, good investments.

28. (Q) Will confidence between business and the administration be solidified, permitting a normal flow of capital to industry and the people? (A) This is gradually coming, as we find. While there will be incidents and the activities that will tend to slow same, as we find in the main this is on the improve.

29. (Q) Is there any other information it is desired to convey to me at this time? (A) Keep the whole attitude of the mental and spiritual in the constructive forces. These as we find.
