Time of Reading 10:25 to 10:50 A. M. Eastern Standard Time. San Fran., Ca.

1. GC: You will have before you the body and enquiring mind of [270], ..., San Francisco, Calif. You will answer the questions he has submitted, as I ask them, as to his health, his mental and material affairs.

2. EC: Yes, we have the body, the enquiring mind, [270]; this we have had before.

3. Ready for questions.

4. (Q) Is the physical and mental condition of this body as good as that found before? (A) In the main, yes. There might be some exceptions in relation to the mental attitudes, but in the physical AND the abilities in the mental these are as well as found before.

5. (Q) Should the use of Adiron be continued and do the present tablets contain the same nutritional value? (A) We would continue Adiron. The tablets contain the same nutritional value. If there is a tendency for any superficial irritation, we would discontinue same for a few days and increase eliminations by a hydrotherapy treatment; then continue again - unless such arises again. The hydrotherapy should be a full application of all such treatments; a colonic irrigation, a sweat and a thorough rubdown - with pine oils.

6. (Q) Atomidine used [as per 270-47, Par. 5-A] to dissolve lump on neck [carbuncle] caused flesh to burn and irritate. Should its use be continued, or is the mutton suet, camphor, benzoin and turpentine preferable? (A) As we find, it would be well to dilute the Atomidine with distilled water. Make same half and half. And continue the use of the Mutton Tallow, Turpentine and Camphor solution, see? Each has its own functions to perform. The Atomidine is to allay and destroy any infection. The Mutton Tallow, Turpentine and Camphor is to

dissolve same.

7. (Q) Is there not a prepared salve, or other liquid on the commercial market that would meet this requirement? (A) Not as well as this combination, as we find. Some might draw to head, some might irritate deeply, some might eventually - but this indicated is the better, as we find.

8. (Q) A wart is forming in another location in the right ear. Should this be removed now along with other body blemishes? (A) This we would remove with electric needles.

9. (Q) Have you any further advice for this body respecting its mental, physical and material affairs? (A) As is being indicated.

10. (Q) Should the study of English and mathematics be resumed in order to maintain desired efficiency in the conduct of my work? (A) This as we find is well. We would continue with the same program that has been heretofore outlined.

11. (Q) If desirable, name the school or tutor best suited for my needs. (A) We would continue with the same institute that has been indicated.

12. (Q) Is the accounting work handled under my supervision being performed efficiently and satisfactorily to the division auditor? (A) This as we find in the main is being satisfactorily done. Some suggestions may be made as respecting some phase of same, but most is in keeping with that desired.

13. (Q) Are his policies being adhered to and departmental entanglements being avoided? (A) They will be as the various conditions indicated are being more closely adhered to. These are very good in the present, as will be indicated by the recommendations as may be made following same.

14. (Q) Is there any specific advice relating to my personal conduct or attitude applicable to myself, work or associates that requires special attention? (A) None as we find, save as to some attitudes - which must be determined by self, according to the IDEALS of the body itself. For those suggestions are that the attitude, the activities be kept in accord with the ideal of the Christian principle.

15. (Q) By what action or method can I raise the degree of confidence and cooperation manifested in and through me to a higher level? (A) Through that adherence to, and the practical application of those principles indicated above.

270-48 Page 3

(A) It will a little later.

17. (Q) Considering the present demand for male help, from what source can I secure a woman for this work, whose services will prove satisfactory? (A) This must come through the regular channels and not from here.

18. (Q) Has the matter involving disposition of back taxes on Chicago real estate been satisfactorily handled? (A) So far been satisfactorily handled. Unless there are other entanglements arising it will be carried on from this angle.

19. (Q) Will a loan and mortgage on this property be arranged and consummated in near future? (A) In the spring it may be consummated.

20. (Q) Are those handling in the G. H. Schneider Co. reliable and trustworthy? (A) These are questions that had best be determined by the entity itself. There are some phases of same that might be questioned. There is the ATTEMPT to make same, but there are some questionable experiences that may arise.

21. (Q) Is there a plan under consideration that contemplates moving plant accounting work now performed in San Francisco to Chicago, or elsewhere? If so, when will this be done? (A) As we find, that may come about a little later, but more apt to be in Omaha or Kansas City.

22. (Q) Is there likelihood of advancement and a change in location for me in 1942? (A) This may come about in the latter portion of '42.

23. (Q) For my guidance, will you outline the order of things to be adhered to in 1942? (A) As has been indicated, make or outline for self an ideal; not merely in a mental manner, but know the ideals, - spiritually, mentally, materially. Write them down. Alter them from period to period of real study and meditation. Budget time for physical, mental and material recreation. Let all of these be based on the spiritual outlook. To base the activities on the spiritual outlook does not mean that one should become sordid, self-centered or puritanic in any sense. Let each question be answered by determining what thy ideal should be respecting same. The Christian principle is a joyous, abundant, happy, hopeful life in all phases of its experience, of its expression. And it only meets sorrow, disappointment and such with that assurance of peace and hope and life abundant.

25. (Q) Is the stock of this company still regarded as a safe investment? (A) As a safe investment.

26. (Q) Because of the declaration of war and based on the following information, will you now advise me and my wife regarding any local conditions precautionary or safeguard measures that should be undertaken by us for our general welfare? (A) Keep in accord with the PRINCIPLES indicated above, and in line with the GENERAL conditions as may arise from time to time. Little fear may be had as to destructive forces from the declaration of war, to the body or the associations thereof. While there may come those periods of anxiety, this attitude kept will be a defense and a preserving influence.
