Time of Reading 417 - 22nd St., 10:40 to 11:00 A. M. Eastern Standard Time. Va Beach, Va. (Physical Suggestion)

1. EC: Yes, we have the body, [271]; this we have had before.

2. Now, as we find, the general conditions show improvement.

3. There are still those conditions wherein the mental changes come from those activities of recuperative forces in the physical functioning of the body, through which the mental forces become active; yet these - we find - are on the improve, with the suggestions that are made while the body is in the subconscious or unconscious state.

4. However, for these suggestions to be more effective, they should not be given in merely a singsong manner; nor said just once. But take at least the time to repeat same (the suggestion), POSITIVELY, three to five times; that there may be the full response in the POSITIVE forces of the suggestion to the mental activities of the body.

5. And we would, for the time being use, the same suggestion; or the same affirmation. And by affirmation we mean that it should BE an AFFIRMATION!

6. As to the general activities of the body, there should be those things, events, happenings, that will make the tendencies for the body-mind and body-consciousness to use the mental forces. Not only in reconstructing, in the mental abilities of the body, those conditions that have transpired in the past; but there should be such questions and such conversations as to require the answers to show CONSTRUCTIVE forces in the activity of the mental body or mind - see?

7. These should not be made tiring, nor so as to cause over-anxiety; but patience - patience and persistence on the part of those that give the suggestions, both in the subconscious (or during those periods when the body is in rest or repose) and in the waking state.

8. Make for constructive, CREATIVE activity; the necessity

271-4 Page 2

for the mind to put this and that construction on those things that are spoken of.

9. And let the conversation ever be of CREATIVE forces, LIFE - life's activities! Not ANY that is of a DESTRUCTIVE nature, in ANY way or manner!

10. After the present week there should be those changes in the form of the vibration that is made for the body, in the use then - for a period of three weeks - of the Radio-Active Appliance. See?

11. And make those attachments to the body, cleansing the anodes and making them firm; but not BINDING so as to decrease the impulse of circulation, either in wrist or ankle. To the inside of the wrist, of course, first; where the pulsation is easily felt. On the inside or the ankle, above the ankle bone; where the pulsation is easily felt.

12. In regard to these vibrations, then, after the three week period, we would give those changes that become necessary.

13. In the matter of the physical activity, this should be that which makes the body PHYSICALLY tired of evenings. And early to retire, in most occasions, is better for the body.

14. And, as soon as the body awakes of mornings, it should be required to begin SOME sort of PHYSICAL activity; rather than the mental - which is that which will make for the introspection of self. Hence suggestions and a good deal of talk regarding what the activities of the day will be, should be the beginning of the day.

15. As to the matter of diet, it would be well for this to be kept in a manner such that it is seen and known that there is not the tendency for constipation in any manner.

16. It is preferable that the diet be an alkaline one, rather than acid. For, in an alkalin diet all constructive forces are enabled to work much better for the recuperation of physical as well as mental activities of the body.

17. Ready for questions.

18. It would be well that there be kept rather the close tab on ALL applications, if there would be kept the continued resuscitating forces for body.

19. Reactions may be expected, for these are natural; but keep constructive influences!

20. When matter for reading is desired, do not give the body reading matter other than that which is constructive. No gang land. No underworld. Not a great deal of animosity or excitement in the reading matter. See?

21. (Q) How much coffee each day is well for the body? (A) Depends upon what kind is taken and how well it is prepared! It doesn't hurt! Coffee prepared properly is a

271-4 Page 3

food! Coffee old or stale, or overdone, is bad for ANYBODY! and this body as well as the rest!

22. (Q) His habit of putting handkerchief to mouth, is this caused by nausea or toothache? If nausea, what should be done to help the body? (A) Toothache. The gums should be looked after. Insist that there be used the antiseptics for the mouth, and the brushing of the teeth often.

23. (Q) Are movies occasionally well for the body? (A) Provided they do not carry that same element of reaction to the mental body as we have indicated. Those that present reactions of a constructive nature are well. Remember, you are dealing with mental recuperative forces; and conditions act upon the MIND just as would be experienced in the development of a six to eight, to twelve year old child! But the mind is being rebuilded! Give it the PROPER things to build upon! else there will be found that the reactions and tendencies will be towards those things destructive, or whatever is taken in the mind. Speak, act, THINK constructively about the body! Some may consider it a hard job, but it's worth it - and it's worth it to themselves, because it'll make 'em live better, if they'll do it!

24. (Q) Any further advice at this time? (A) Do this. This is a plenty! This is a mouthful! and the hands full, if they'll do it! Until we give it again!
