Time of Reading 12:00 to 12:55 Noon - Eastern Standard Time. ..., N.Y. (Entity. You will give a mental and spiritual reading for this entity, giving the original purpose of entrance into this solar realm of experience, trace the mental and spiritual development from the beginning through the various stages of experience, and give such guidance as the entity needs in awakening her psychic soul faculties and in using same for the highest spiritual development in this life. Questions.)

1. EC: Yes, we have the entity here, now known as [275].

2. In entering the present experience for its own soul development, as has been indicated, there were many factors that determined the present entrance, and with many of those conditions that were in that realm of meeting influences that had been expressed in activities in sojourns of the entity in the earth's experience. Yet the purposes, the desires, were for self-expression under the influence and guidance of that which had influenced activity in relationships to self and others in soul and mental development of the entity.

3. As has oft been given through these channels, and as may be well illustrated in that which has been given respecting the development of this entity, what one soul does about the knowledge and understanding that the soul has OF the Creative Forces in its experience makes for the developments or the retardments, or builds in the experience that which must of necessity be met in an activity as related to individuals and to self. Self-expression, self-development, then, is the desire, purpose, aim of the soul in its manifestations in the earth in the present experience.

4. As to how there may be the development of the mental and psychic forces of the entity, well that there be some comprehension of mental and soul development. Soul is that which is the gift of the Creator to be the individuality that must present itself before the Throne for judgment in

275-39 Page 2

its experiences through activities in whatsoever realm it, the soul, may find itself. Mind is that active force that makes for the awareness or consciousness of the activity being in this, that or the other realm. Hence it partakes of a physical condition, of a purely mental condition, and of the soul or the spirit condition, and has in the minds of many been divided and given names that have not altogether set the metes and bounds about same; hence cause confusion oft in the experience of others - or those who find activities in the various spheres and are accredited to that as may be set rather into metes and bounds, rather than considering that soul and spirit HAS no bounds save that it, the soul, has builded or made for itself in respects to that it has had the association or connection with as respecting its activity in building to or from its Creative Force in its experience.

5. Hence we find, as has been indicated in this entity's and soul's experience, that which illustrates, demonstrates, that as has oft been given respecting what individuals or souls have done respecting that they knew within themselves to be that which was creative and that which was selfish.

6. That which is so hard to be understood in the minds or the experiences of many is that the activities of a soul are for self-development, yet must be selfless in its activity for it, the soul, to develop.

7. Take for the moment that which may be illustrated in a physical body, as may be illustrated in this body - as to where conditions are to take place, are taking place, that may very well illustrate that point here that we would make for the entity, and for those that would study respecting self and self's development, yet being selfless in their development.

8. As has been given by Him as the teacher, as the minister, as the savior to all men, "I of myself can do nothing. The Father that worketh IN me, HE doeth the works that you see." When the body is using of itself that which is the Creative Force in itself, we see - as in this body - it uses its very own self; hence is selfishness, or the aggrandizing of the qualities in the mental forces of the body-physical or in the mental intelligentsia of the body itself, and has forgotten or neglects that which is creative or constructive in itself. Yet when the body-physical and mental and spiritual uses itself in giving to another that which is helpful, hopeful TO that soul, it draws from that source in the spiritual influences, or God, to give to the other. Hence the illustration that has been thus drawn.

9. In the development then of the soul forces of this

275-39 Page 3

entity, [275], called in the present, as has been given, the title, the name, is written; that is, there is the desire, there is the wish, there is the longing to be used by self, to use self, to be used by the Creative Forces in giving to others that which will in themselves arouse the understanding and the knowledge of the indwelling of the spiritual life within self that may quicken the soul to its own duties, opportunities, abilities, as related to THEIR influences and THEIR relationships with the Creative Forces. Hence is the title, is the name written within self, and recorded with those that have given His angels charge concerning thine activities, that there be no stumbling within the experience of this soul.

10. Then, to awaken that within self that may be the more helpful, that will make self the greater channel for others, that will bring into the physical forces of the body-physical that which will renew, regenerate those forces from within, that the applications that may be made without may become one in their activity to the glorification of the Father, there needs be only that the trust remain in Him and that there be the arousing to those consciousnesses of His presence dwelling in thine own experience and in thine own heart and soul, that every atom, every cell within the whole physical body, mind and soul becomes attuned to those spheres of activity that are aroused by the consciousness of His presence being with thee. For, there are the abilities to give out to others. Enter, then, into the closet of thine own heart, purging same with the hyssop, with the blood of the Father through the Christ. In so doing may the consecration of the purposes and desires of the heart become one with Him. Then, as that given is poured out or given to the other, there may come in thine experience the oneness of HIS purposes with thine own, and thus may the soul become aware in the patience; as He has given that we become aware of the souls in same. Know that He liveth in thee, in the acts of thine mind, of thine body, and thus may ye gather around the Throne of mercy and grace and peace and light, and with the angels give glory to the Lamb of God that taketh away the sins and the errors of those that trust in Him. And thus may the physical consciousness become aware that there is the Lamb that joins with thee in making intercession for those that need his redeeming grace and love; making aware in that given thee in thy activities, that others may know that the seal is set in the Christ, the Lamb of God.

11. Ready for questions.

12. (Q) Outline a method of meditation which will help me

275-39 Page 4

the most in my psychic development, giving best time, and prayer. (A) As has been indicated, in that manner as seemeth to thine own conscience purge thine body with pure water and with those influences whether in tones of color, of music, or of odors, as the conscience, as the desire of the heart is, so surround self - and with that blessing as He gave, that "May His peace and His blessings surround you as ye enter into that oneness with Him in the inner chamber." And with such a meditation or prayer as: I AM THINE, O LORD. USE ME NOW AS THOU SEEST FIT THAT I, EVEN IN MY WEAKNESS, MAY CLAIM THY STRENGTH IN AND THROUGH ME. PURGE ME AS THOU SEEST I HAVE NEED OF, THAT I MAY BE THE BETTER CHANNEL FOR THE MANIFESTING OF THE LOVE OF THE FATHER THROUGH THE CHRIST AT THIS TIME.

13. (Q) What is the best time for meditation for this entity? (A) Whenever there is the call, as it were, to prayer, to service, to aid another. Preferably in those hours when there is quiet, either in the evening or the early morning hours.

14. (Q) Will I develop any psychic power by looking into a crystal ball? (A) If there is ever held that only that which is of the Christ-making may be presented there. The crystal offers rather the concentration of the physical powers, and thus offers many channels for the entering in of many an influence; yet if it is held only in His name, in His right [rite?], MUCH may be received there.

15. (Q) Give guidance that will help me to develop this. (A) Rather presumptuous is this to take this means first, but rather before know that there has been the still small voice from within that "He will guide." Then, if it is chosen for a more perfect way, place the crystal upon a background of royal purple and with subdued lights that would come from over the left shoulder - and not from the front. Then passing the hands over the ball or crystal, in such a manner as to cover the surface with the emanations of the power that is raised from the physical body by deep meditation, then look - look - and behold HIS face may appear, HIS directing spirit may lead thee; and again may there be opened the vistas of light that may guide others. And ever, when such is done, in the recesses of the heart give the glory to the Father - and not to self.

16. (Q) Should a colored light be used? (A) No. Preferably a six to ten watt light. Clear white.

17. (Q) Exactly what happens to my physical body during meditation? (A) In deep meditation there descends the influences to open the channels along those vistas, as has been given, to

275-39 Page 5

the inmost recesses of the Creative Forces in body, that arise then to the varied centers and find expression either through the movements of the body in the hearing of sound, in the consciousness of odors, in the activity of the vision, or there is just the presence that may be read as the open book. Or, to put in other terms, as has been given, the records of time and space - present and future - are upon those films that lie between time and space, and they become attuned to those forces of the Infinite as the cells of the body become attuned to the music of the realms of light and space and time.

18. (Q) When meditating at night, what color light should I use? (A) White light. Any colored lights make for a diffusion of that as may be perfect. What light was in Him that is Light, that is Life, that is out of darkness? WHITE light!

19. (Q) Is there any guidance that will help me in my music? (A) All of these, when there is the seeking for that which may give to others an awakening, there will be seen those forces, those influences to guide thee. For, think not that the realm of the Father is set at a hit or miss. For, He has given the realms in order. And as the psalmist gave, the heavens in their beauty, in their harmony of their movements, and the earth in its glory as it springs anew into life in seasons that were set by Him from the beginning. And you see all nature respond; only man has changed or has even tempted the Father in attempting to alter those things in their activity. Hence in seeking in self for those varied influences that may bring joy or peace or harmony, as does music into the ears of those that may hear, there will be given - as has been said, "I will guide thee in all things that ye have need of." Music is seldom played for self, other than to attune self to the realms of the Infinite. And thus does it raise the soul and the heart to that rhythm, that harmony, that makes for joy - even in heaven. For, as it - such harmony, such music as may this entity raise in its own activity, bring even joy at the Throne. And in those heavenly places where the angels stoop down to listen, and the harkening of those that would bring into the souls and hearts of men a strengthening - by those that may play even as this entity. Then, knowing that such is, to whom and how may it enter to gain the more? Opening self as in the meditation, and then PRAY as He guides thy fingers, thy hands, thine body!

20. (Q) Explain satisfactorily to all present, the

275-39 Page 6

appearance of the Hindu that Mr. Cayce saw in this house last November, 1933? [10/28/33 EC saw Hindu in Zentgraf living room (library) while Mrs. Zentgraf, HLC and GD were in there with EC, talking.] (A) Rather listen well at what will be given you on Saturday concerning same. For, this was rather of the Persian forces seeking - than Hindu, though in the garb and dress in part, as seen as that. [See 507-1.]

21. (Q) Please explain satisfactorily to all present the appearance of the little boy [with [457]] on Tuesday the 25th of January, 1934, seen by Mr. Cayce? [See 457-3 Reports.] (A) A seeking of a soul for the communion with those influences that were being expressed in terms of physical activity at that period. And was one seeking through those channels as seen with, for expression.

22. (Q) What kind of incense should I use during meditation? (A) Cedar. And hyssop.

23. (Q) Any further spiritual guidance at this time? (A) Rather may the entity guide many as it goes along with its own soul and heart and mind development.

24. (Q) Is the mother [255] of this entity doing her best to assist her [275]'s development? (A) As has been indicated, in the choosing - as she the mother chose, as she the soul chose in its oneness of purpose - they are setting for each an opportunity of expression in material forces those things gained in their associations. Well.
