Time of Reading 11:10 to 11:35 A. M. Eastern Standard Time. ..., N.Y. (Body & enquiring mind, who seeks information, advice & guidance as to her physical, mental & spiritual well-being. After giving such a reading, you will then answer the questions she has submitted, as I ask them:)

1. EC: Yes, we have the body, the enquiring mind, [275]; this we have had before.

2. As we find, in the physical there are conditions that need attention in the present. These, while in their present state may be eliminated, need - from the physical activity - the drainages and eliminations to be increased, that the drosses may be eliminated - that have accumulated from the strains, and the tendency for opening the mental application of self to draw from the normal activity. Hence there is a tendency for the physical body to prevent the normal eliminations and flow from the body in its normal activity.

3. There should be reference made to that given in previous information through these sources, as to the necessity of the manipulations that may physically make for the coordinating of the activity of the organs of the body, both in the assimilation and elimination.

4. We will find that the deeper manipulations in the portions from which there is the activity from the organs of the torso and the organs of the pelvis, would make for material changes.

5. As we find here in these conditions that have arisen with this body, much might be asked as to how and why that a body so sensitive - and one giving of self to spiritual and mental activity - could come under the influence of material obstructions, in a body being purified by the very mental and spiritual activity that manifests through same. These are practical questions that might easily be asked by any, even by self. This, then, is as we have given: The physical forces are in the material realm of activity; the mental is both spiritual and physical in its reaction to the

body and to the conditions mental, spiritual and physical that surround same, but subject wholly to the laws of materiality while in the material plane. Hence must the more often be met. This in the material activity. Yet the very question that would naturally arise from same would be: If a body is spiritualized, is it not sufficient and capable of meeting those things that are in the material plane? To be sure! For, unless the physical is spiritualized there is not the cleansing. But every force, every power that is manifesting as a force in material has its inception in the spiritual nature. And when the applications are made of a material nature, they must coordinate with the mental, the spiritual, the physical, that the greater and the better conditions may ensue and be manifested in material things.

6. Then, the applications for this body, [275], in the material things, would be:

7. Have the more often, for at least three to five treatments, deeper manipulations to set up drainages from the liver, the spleen, the pancreas, and also stimulating the organs through the impulses in the centers from the lumbar area as related to the organs of pelvis. [Osteopathy]

8. Keep the physical attitude, the mental attitude, of expectancy of the activities through the body itself to bring nearer and nearer normalcy for the body.

9. Be mindful that the diet creates more eliminations through the alimentary canal, that those portions of the body where the drainages are set up may keep down the flow of the lymph that has increased to such an extent as to make for plethoric activity in the impulses in the superficial circulation.

10. And we will find conditions on the improve.

11. As to the mental and spiritual forces of the body, as has been given, little may be added to that which has been given respecting the activities of the mental and spiritual forces that may manifest through this body. Give expression to same, but in such measures and in such manners that there is NOT the tendency for creating those conditions in the physical that SUBJUGATE any activity.

12. Ready for questions.

13. (Q) What is cause and cure for swelling on face? (A) As indicated, there is the tendency for the emunctory and lymph circulation to be so increased - by the humor created by subjugation in other portions of the body - as to create this activity. Drainages set up by the stimulation of those centers as

275-41 Page 3

indicated, from the mechanical way and manner, will relieve these conditions.

14. (Q) What is the condition of front tooth? (A) Needs local attention, by the activity of too much of a flow of impulse to this portion of the system without the proper drainage. Local applications needed.

15. (Q) What specific local application is referred to? (A) Go to a dentist!

16. (Q) Would massage be good for body? [GD's note: Weekly massages had been given the past month by a friend, Mrs. [509].] besides osteopathic treatments? (A) As indicated, the better will be the deeper manipulations in those specific portions that we have indicated.

17. (Q) Any further directions for rub or light? (A) As we find, we would discontinue the light in the immediate, see? These treatments may be begun later, but discontinue in the immediate; for if drainages are set up and the strong light is used only as a stimulation for it, with that created by the deeper manipulations and stimulations of the organs' activity for the drainages in the system, these tend to flow back - by subjugation.

18. (Q) Any further directions for diet? (A) As indicated, keep more of those foods that make for the better eliminations through the alimentary canal, that the drainages as set up and as thrown on the various portions of the eliminating forces of the body may be taken care of.

19. (Q) Is there any further advice or counsel as to my mental and spiritual well-being? (A) As indicated, little may be added to that which has been given. But, as suggested, not so active - or not so forming activities as to make for suppressions in the physical in any direction.

20. We are through with this reading. Copy to Self " " Ass'n file " of portion submitted to Compilers of Study Group #1, for lesson on DESIRE. [GD's note: A letter was enclosed to Dr. Frank P. Dobbins, D.O., copying the osteopathic directions in 275-41.]
