Time of Reading 12:45 to 1:00 Noon - Eastern Standard Time. ..., New York.
1. HLC: You will have before you the enquiring minds of those present here in this room, with particular regard to the Physical Reading given on July 31, 1935 through this channel, for [276], who is now present in this room. As explained in the letter which I hold in my hand, this reading did not apparently fit the condition. Please explain.
2. EC: Yes, we have the information as given on July 31st regarding the physical conditions.
3. Here there should be understood by all that what may be received through such natures or such channels is from WITHIN.
4. For while there was humor there necessarily must have been temperature, though not indicated by the physical reaction.
5. There was innate that attitude of the resistances of influences, or else there would NOT have been the manifestation of same in the physical body.
6. For, as we have given, that which becomes manifested in materiality is first in the spiritual influence - in ANY activity. And the influences mentally are the building forces in either a constructive manner or such as become irritating. So, through the mental forces such conditions become concrete, then, in a world of causation - or in materiality.
7. Ready for questions.
8. (Q) No nausea was apparent to the body, as mentioned in the reading. (A) All of those conditions are subjugated, to be sure, but are the effects of those conditions as indicated. And if the applications from the material angle had been made, the change in the attitudes, the change in the effect or in the results would have become apparent.
9. (Q) In order that the body may be assisted in changing this attitude, please explain just what is meant here.

(A) Draw rather the comparisons that make aware in any material activity of the activities of the ENTITY in its relationships in the varied experiences in the earth [276-2]. And there may be seen what is presented in the attitude, that has brought and does bring the influences in the MENTAL forces for that which becomes as CLEAN. For such comparisons may be drawn. As was the ensample that through the blood ye are made every whit CLEAN. Not of the idea that in that alone, but in the use of that which is expressed in those activities.
10. (Q) Is there any advice or counsel for [276] in handling her musical kindergarten work? What especially should be stressed by her in her work? (A) The RHYTHM to the varied activities of each individual, as its approach to MUSIC - that must become responsive, or respond to that within the innate and manifested experience of the individuals so trained or so counseled with. The RHYTHM of not only the word, the body, but rather that which is the RESPONDING to each vibration within the individuals.
11. (Q) What would you advise for her best expression and development regarding the flute teacher? If possible, give name and address of the proper person. (A) As we find, there are many channels and many manners of approach to those that are instructors in this particular line of endeavor. But those that may be had through the approach of the Woman's Club - Music Club - of New York City will bring into association one Castinetta [?], or name similar, to which we would find the greater responses in this entity's development. [1/2/38 Mother [255]'s ltr.: "[276]'s teacher is just fine. We are all so happy about it."]
12. (Q) Which music club in New York? (A) The New York Music Club.
13. (Q) What is the address of this club? (A) This may be had - (pause) - 58th.
14. (Q) Is there any other advice or guidance at this time, either of mental or physical nature? (A) We would keep for the body much of that faith, that attitude, in which it, the entity as an ENTITY, is TRAINING its own self. SOME of the experiences bring rather contentions with the INMOST self, and when the body-mind draws comparisons, these make for flares from within. Yet little by little is there the attuning of self that it, the entity, may become as the shining light to many, that will bring the more perfect understanding and contentment and

harmony and joy within. Each soul should be joyous in the expressing of the Lord's service in the earth.
15. (Q) Any other counsel? (A) Keep that inviolate in thine inner self. Find expression in all phases of thine expression that reflect Him in thy life, thy fellow man. Ye must SEE in that which may be held as an opponent, that ye would worship in thy Maker.
