1. GC: You will have before you the body and the enquiring mind of [279], in his private office at the Hotel ..., N.J., Room 100. You will answer the questions which will be asked regarding his health, and mental and material affairs.
2. EC: Yes, we have the body, the enquiring mind, of [279] - this we have had before.
3. In the physical forces of the body, these we find still on the improve. There are at times retractions in the general physical forces, and the body feels easily tired out, achey and stretchy at times of mornings; yet we find that the body RESPONDS much more easily to the replenishing and rebuilding, and with the nominal or normal activities in a few hours feels considerably better. This shows, as we find, that the body is on the upbuild, and that while the incentives are for the upbuilding, will the body take those precautions as given as respecting the health, the diet, the mental attitudes, the mental aptitudes of the body also, the body will continue to feel more near normal, and will find that - in the few weeks or months - the NORMAL health will be more that of the REGULAR conditions, than has been of the ailing, or that of the general feeling of debilitation.
4. Keep, then, much as has been outlined, changing only when emergencies or conditions arise that need precautions or extra additions for the assimilating and the rebuilding to be kept in an upward trend. Ready for questions.
5. (Q) How often should osteopathic treatments be taken? (A) At least twice each week, for another month at least.
6. (Q) Any suggestions as to how these should be given, other than present method of procedure? (A) No. Follow these. These have been very well administered.
7. (Q) The tingling sensations in left shoulder, arm, hand, and slight pains in shoulder at times, also left side and center of chest - are these nervous manifestations only? (A) They are more of RETRACTIONS; that is, where debilitations have existed, there is the tenderness - or the soreness - as an overstrained muscle (as the body would well
279-3 Page 2
understand), and with a little mental strain, or physical strain, these come as RETRACTIONS, or as halting in the activities of the nerves AND muscular forces. Hence these come and go.
8. (Q) Are these symptoms of a disease which I dread? (A) Not symptoms, no. They are the effects of conditions as have been given.
9. (Q) Is the blood pressure too high? If so, what is advised to remedy same? (A) There ARE times when the blood pressure is above normal, but so LITTLE is this that - will the general health will be kept nearer normal - this should become in a normal pressure.
10. (Q) Am I properly attempting to build up the blood supply? Any suggestions - (A) Very good.
11. (Q) Any suggestions for the betterment of this? (A) We would keep and be rather consistent with the activities, physical and mental, with that trying to be accomplished in physical upbuilding. This relates to the habits, to the mental habits as well as physical habits.
12. (Q) Is it possible for me to attain such physical condition as to eliminate the rapid heart which is so disturbing? (A) It will!
13. (Q) Do the depressions which come to me begin with the knowledge that the heart beat is being accelerated? (A) It comes from that, also from the nerve debilitation, which is gradually being builded back to a nearer normal condition.
14. (Q) Can the nervous system be restored to normal? or so near normal that I will not question my physical well-being? (A) This is as has just been given. It will.
15. (Q) Will the physical symptoms that have been so disturbing disappear when the business proposition is settled? (A) This will aid; not wholly disappear, but act only as retractions as the general health, the general mental forces, are builded to nearer normal.
16. (Q) Will I have strength to continue with the proposition successfully, and not break under the strain? (A) We will find that you would!
17. (Q) Now that I am actually confronted with the business proposition, should I accept it? (A) Should accept it, by the first of August or in the fall as the seasons open.
18. (Q) Do the Forces suggest that I remain, or continue in the hotel business? If not, what is suggested? (A) Rather that of the directing OF the activities of the
279-3 Page 3
hotel, than in that of the active forces of JUST RUNNING hotels - see?
19. (Q) Should I have faith in my business associations, or attempts at same, with Louis Gold? (A) This is rather an indirect questioning, but the body will find that - as faith, as confidence, is lived to, in others - that may be expected FROM the others, if there be the answering from each to the other as respecting THEIR abilities.
20. (Q) Regarding development of the large tract of land at Va. Beach, should I follow my original idea and try to interest one man, whom I know is fully capable of successfully completing same if he is interested in doing so? (A) We would follow out that line, and interest the individual. That would have nothing to do with interesting others also, or further developments along the same line with others, would the first one follow out that of the first proposition.
21. (Q) Or should I consider many persons whom I know might be interested in a part purchase of parts of this proposition? (A) Would be well to follow either or both, as has been suggested or given here.
22. (Q) Is this the proper time for me to do anything on this proposition, or should I wait until the fall? (A) WE would find that in the present would be the proper time to be active, though - as we find - it might be some little distance before the whole heading up, or the settling of the proposition in a full, definite way and manner; yet we would follow it IMMEDIATELY.
23. That is all the questions regarding this body.
