Time of Reading Hotel ..., 12:00 Noon - Eastern Standard Time. ..., N.J. (Body & enquiring mind - Questions health, mental and material affairs)
1. EC: Yes, we have the body, the enquiring mind, the conditions and the circumstances as surround the body. Many of these we have had before.
2. In the physical forces of the body, these we find ON the improve. Do not be over-anxious in well-doing; for the body is - as known by self, as felt by self - responding in that way and manner as has been GIVEN, that the NORMALCY will be the normal activity rather than the tendency towards abnormalcy. So, in applying those suggestions as have been given for the correction of those vibrations in the system, as are being corrected by the manipulations, by the activity, by the diet, don't neglect those of the massage and the hydrotherapy activities in system; for these, while the skin and the capillary eliminations are becoming nearer toward the normal, and are being cleansed properly, these NEED that counter-irritant to the whole system that the whole suggestive forces of the body may be in accord with that that makes for proper coordination in the eliminating systems; for, as we find, eliminations are not wholly those as through the alimentary canal, or wholly through the activity of the hepatic circulation, but each must coordinate one with another, as one would build a business upon the proper coordination of the various portions of same, or as a machine; as the body IS the most perfect engine, as the heart is the most perfect engine or the most perfect FUNCTIONING portion of the body, as these coordinate in their functionings, their activities, these keep working for an even balance.
3. Then, that is how, why, perforce, that the MENTAL forces - which may gather from that taking place from within, as well as that through which its whole mental force has passed in the aeons of time - as well as controlled by all influence from without make FOR SUCH an activity upon a physical body; why it is determined or set by many that the

MIND may control any or all portions or forces OF the body. True! for, as has been given for this body, much development may be made in the present by BEING that one, that self, in control of its (the body's) environs, physical, mental and spiritual, but CONTROLLED BY any inclination towards any weakness, whether physical, mental or spiritual, is to become subservient to those forces from without, rather than being in control!
4. REMEMBER oft that command given, "Be faithful and SUBDUE the earth." THAT is man's heritage. The earth, in this sense, means all forces from without. These forces, these abilities, lie before thee. Be up and doing! Ready for questions.
5. (Q) Do the Forces recommend Psyllium seed for the eliminations? If so - (A) These would be very well, but were these taken they should be taken only for periods - say of three to six days, then a rest period of the equal length of time, particularly for THIS body, but these would be WELL, ESPECIALLY, to relieve those pressures as exist in the caecum region.
6. (Q) What quantity should be taken? (A) A level tablespoon in three tablespoonfuls of VERY hot water, EATEN WITH the meal, NOT alone - so that it is assimilated with that taken.
7. (Q) How often? (A) Once each day, PREFERABLY - for THIS body - in the evenings, so that it is as an ACTIVE force IN the system as the body rests.
8. (Q) Who do the Forces recommend to continue osteopathic treatments for the body, when he moves to N.Y.? (A) Ted Berger. [Theodore J. Berger, D.O.]
9. (Q) Is there anything organically wrong with the body? This appears - (A) (Interrupting) There is not!
10. (Q) Should the colonic irrigations be continued? (A) Once a month, or once every twenty-eight or every thirty-six days.
11. (Q) Should the sweats and rubs be continued? (A) These would be well, as has been given, to be continued occasionally. Do not come to depend upon ANY of these activities! Take 'em when needed, and when not leave 'em off! See? Be the master OF the body, OF that which must be administered; not a servant of!
12. (Q) Is it absolutely necessary for the material benefit of this body to have a written agreement before taking up his duties of Hotel ... [New York]? (A) There are many conditions to be considered when such a

question is asked. In ASKING, there is seen the doubting. In doubting, that creates for the self those conditions wherein it would make for some conditions arising that would make for contentions; but in ALL conditions, ALL surroundings, would be well that, that agreed upon be put in a form that is legal, and is in keeping with that expressed by all concerned. That is consistency. Be consistent in everything, for consistency is a jewel.
13. (Q) Will the body be successful in this enterprise? (A) Hasn't it given for five years? [See 279-4, Par. 19-A.] That's for a good change!
14. (Q) Is there anything this body can do to help extricate the Hotel ... [in N.J.] from its financial difficulties? (A) In the PRESENT conditions as exist, as relationship to this, and as has existed with the body itself, a good deal of thought, a good deal of care, should be given as respecting this. However, know that all things that are done must sooner OR later bring THEIR corresponding reaction. Now get this! As has been seen, there must of a NECESSITY - for the GOOD of those concerned in same - be the passing through that period when those in charge of the affairs of same must stop and take serious thought of what has brought about the existent conditions, and don't blame it all on just the general affairs! for it must EVER be personal! Then, when these considerations by those in charge are given, or are taken, insist that those in charge make a careful analysis of THEIR obligations, THEIR abilities, and put the two together! THEN, when this has been done, there will be those questions asked of, those suggestions made to the body of certain conditions or conformities to be made. ADVICE is the best thing that may be given, then - but don't offer it until asked for!
15. (Q) The body is leaving the employ of Hotel ... [in N.J.] with a considerable sum due him, if the company survives this business depression. Will it survive? (A) Just as has been given, if those in charge - and that is the suggestion as given - the body can best aid those who are in charge - that they stop and take thought, take an analysis of that necessary to meet it, and don't blame it on just the depressions! When it is done, and if it is done, it will survive - for, as has been given as respecting some, and as is seen respecting others, the ABILITIES are there, if they will exercise them! [See 992-2, Par. 10-A--14-A.]
16. (Q) Will Harry Barth buy a one-third interest in the Hotel ... [in N.J.] or will he be unable to arrange this? (A) He will be able to arrange it by the first of the year, and it will survive that long - or longer - if nothing was

done!
17. (Q) Will the Forces suggest someone, or ones, to whom to sell an interest or the whole property? (A) Why do that, if there's the desire to make it a success with those who are in charge! but these conditions would work themselves better would there be some activities on the part of those responsible for the activities in the present! Then these may be made, or they will work THEMSELVES out; for as we do that we KNOW - see, as we do that we KNOW - that which we DO NOT know, or DO NOT understand, becomes understandable. Just as taking exercise creates more strength, more accuracy, more ability for the physical body.
18. (Q) Will my brother be able to carry on the activities of Hotel ... [in N.J.] successfully, without outside assistance? (A) They will for the time, and if they prepare THEMSELVES in such a way and manner - as would be of taking stock, of analyzing the situation, of meeting the conditions, of doing those things necessary - then these assistances, these aids, will come. We are through for the present. Copy to Self " " File
