Time of Reading Hotel ..., 11:10 A. M. Eastern Standard Time. New York City. (Physical, Mental, and Material Questions.)

1. EC: Yes, we have the body, the enquiring mind, [279] - this we have had before. Also those conditions as surround the body physically and materially.

2. In the physical conditions of the body, these we find - to a great extent - near in the manner as has been prescribed for the body, that the body would be nearer to that of the more often feeling nearer normal than that condition where the body seldom felt normal. While, as has been indicated, there are those conditions at times arising in the physical that would - for the moment, or for a period - appear to be detrimental effects being had or made within the physical functioning of the body, but will those things - those conditions as have been outlined, those mental attitudes of the body - will be kept in that accord as has been given for the body, we will find that this should continue in the way of being nearer and nearer to the normal; unless there are other emergencies - as is apt or possible to arise in any physical functioning organisms, under the stress in the material affairs and conditions as may surround a body. Ready for questions.

3. (Q) What happened to me about 1:00 A.M. the night of Sept. 30th - Oct. 1st? (A) There was an awakening to the inner consciousness of an experience through which the entity had passed - ENTITY had passed. In its reactions to the physical forces, under the stress mentally as had been experienced by the body, there was that of the fear reaction manifest in the FUNCTIONING of the whole system. Hence that condition as appeared.

4. (Q) What was the cause of this attack, or spell, or whatever it may be termed? (A) Just as has been given, the consciousness came in contact with the real self AND the ENTITY'S experience. Not a PHYSICAL action, but a physical REACTION in the body. Not a suppression of the heart's action, nor one of a carotid artery reaction, because there was that of the fast

279-9 Page 2

pulsation and the smothery feeling. This was the reaction, NOT the cause.

5. (Q) Does smoking tend to increase the heart beat? (A) Not if done in moderation; unless the consciousness builds in self that it does - in that case, then it must necessarily do same; for that we think in our inner selves, THAT we gradually become.

6. (Q) Would I benefit to any marked degree physically by abstaining from smoking? (A) Not to any marked degree, UNLESS there is held in the inner consciousness that this is harmful and that by abstaining from same would be materially helpful; if that be the attitude, this may work with the activities of the body in that manner.

7. (Q) Will I be successful in overcoming the problems regarding my physical condition? (A) As we find, there should be no trouble with the progress as has been made in the body overcoming the physical conditions, and be near a NORMAL physically fit body.

8. (Q) Do I have the condition which is medically termed endocarditis? (A) We do not find same such. As has been given in that for the manipulations and the corrections, in the applications for the body, that in the upper dorsal area there should be those applications given in the manipulations and adjustments that will relieve tension and pressure that occurs at times in the cardiac and SECONDARY cardiac plexus. While the manipulations and the treatments as have been given are very good, will the coordinating centers in the cerebrospinal system, with those of the 2nd and 3rd dorsal, 4th and 5th dorsal, 4th and 5th cervical be coordinated with the rest of the system, the treatments will be more in keeping with that necessary and needed for the body occasionally. These taken once or twice a week - the treatments - will - make for the bettered conditions, GIVEN in that manner.

9. (Q) What is my status at the present time with regard to passing an insurance examination? (A) The body may pass an insurance examination, unless there is the attempt on the part of the examiner to try to explain any of those conditions as might be asked as respecting the body. On the face of conditions as exist in the physical body, the body would pass examination for ANY amount in ANY insurance company, without explanations being attempted by the examiner.

10. (Q) Am I anemic? (A) This, as has been given in the varied conditions, has

279-9 Page 3

existed as a tendency. Not so much in the present, for we will find the blood count - as to both red blood and white blood - near normal in the present.

11. (Q) Regarding worry over my business connection - Do the Forces find that I will remain at Hotel ..., as previously given? (A) Unless there are material changes in those circum- stances as surround the policies and management of the hotel corporation, the body will remain with that organization in the present capacity; for the activities in every direction have been VERY satisfactory, save as for some PERSONAL differences that have existed from the first. These have been given, and the body knows how to meet the various situations as they arise - unless the body should choose to take offers in other directions as may be made in the next spring, or the next season.

12. (Q) Any advice for me at the present time regarding my business problems? (A) These are being met in a very amicable and amiable way and manner, and we would say keep that as has been determined in self, in the way and MANNER as HAS been applied in the body. DO NOT let worries overtax self physically OR mentally, for these UNFIT the body-physical to meet emergencies as they MAY arise. These, in a manner, are as those of MEETING people's situations in numbers, rather than of specific large circumstances or conditions. It's the little things in life, the little worries in associations, that make for entanglements or for contentions even.

13. (Q) Am I accomplishing great strides in my efforts, as I feel that I am? (A) This, as has been implied and given, is MOST satisfactory. Hence, as has been said, KEEP that way as has been made by the body in its applications TO the situations, TO the conditions and the surroundings.

14. (Q) Is this a good time for me to try and raise, or make some money to help me in my financial difficulties? (A) Not as a speculation, it isn't a good time - and, as we find, so far as speculation is concerned, not before the middle of next month would there be any safety, and THEN for a very short period.

15. (Q) Is there any specific suggestion regarding this? (A) As has been given, we would not in the SPECULATIONS. There may be in connections or associations that are from, or of, FORMATIVE groups, that may be very good. These had best be taken as they arise, or as the body's own abilities or incentives, or initiatives, would direct.

16. (Q) Any further advice for the body at this time? (A) Keep all as has been committed in a way that is satisfactory to thine own self in its relations to the divine forces as manifest day by day.
