1. GC: You will have before you the body and enquiring mind of [279], who is in Apt. ... of the Hotel ..., St., N.Y.C., and his associates and associations, especially [3861], [257], [4171], and the affairs of the Pittsburgh Chemical Co., all of N.Y., and the products of this company. You will answer the questions which [279] has submitted concerning these, as I ask them.

2. EC: Yes, we have the body, the enquiring mind, [279], his associations and relations, and the conditions that are apparent from those in the making, and as are relevant to circumstances and conditions as respecting same. Ready for questions.

3. (Q) Advise me how I can make an outstanding success with the Pittsburgh Chemical Co., of 11 W. 42nd St., N.Y. (A) Get the orders!

4. (Q) What caused the situation between [4171] and me? (A) Misunderstanding, mis-interpretation of the acts of the body, and the acts of others associated in the same company.

5. (Q) How can I build [4171]'s confidence for future successful association? (A) By there being a perfect understanding between all parties concerned in ANY associations and relations.

6. (Q) What accounts in N.Y. should I concentrate on? (A) As is seen from here, there have been some connections made for some particular accounts or associations. These are with the larger associations of housing, and the like, and would be the ones to contact. The products that will be of particular interest to the body, that have to do those things and conditions that the body knows most about by experience, this branch, this portion OF the products should the body make the specialty on - see? [Household products?]

7. (Q) Can I sell all the accounts or leads that Mr. [3861] has offered to give me? (A) Those especially that are in line with that as has been given, that the body knows most of and understands the most

8. (Q) Is that the cleaning products? [Question submitted by GC.] (A) Ask the body! Don't ask me!

9. (Q) What should Mr. [3861]'s connections be with the associates [4171], [257] and myself? (A) As has been outlined, that better [if there were] were there the full determination as to those that control in the present, making their OWN minds as to what is to be done WITH the company - whether for quick return (and a sale), or whether it is to be carried on as a manufacturing or distributing, or distributing AND manufacturing portion - and then should the associations (and only if it's to be carried on through the associations) be most beneficial, and as a member of the ORIGINAL corporation. A division for distribution OR for manufacturing is to make disorders, that will sooner or later bring troubles. Either be one or the other! Don't carry water on both shoulders!

10. (Q) How long will it take me to earn a livlihood from my sales? (A) Depends on how hard the body works!

11. (Q) How can [257] assist me in development of business and sales? (A) First there must be the better understanding as to what it's all about, and not in the JUMBLE that it is in as YET! What the company is to do, what it's expansion is to be, what is to be the products, how distributed and how manufactured, what is to be, THROUGH WHOM these are to be shipped, what the relationship is to be with the whole of the organization! In fact, it has NOT been PERFECTED where it CAN be successful, as YET!

12. (Q) How can [4171] help me succeed? (A) As has been given, they had ALL better sit down and get the thing straightened out, know what they want to do and be capable of doing it! To be sure, it is an exceptional product, there are profits in same, and it IS going ahead - but with the present policies, present conditions, those who KNOW - how far may it go?

13. (Q) What error did I make in discussing Pittsburgh Chemical business with Charles Barkley, a chemist in Pittsburgh Chemical Co. employ? (A) This the manner in which it was told others, made the appearance of there being information sought for OTHER sources.

14. (Q) What was Barkley's reason for going to [257] and [4171] and discussing the matter? (A) This has been given.

15. (Q) Does my present attitude warrant the confidence of [257] and [4171]? (A) Not until things are straightened out, as has been given.

16. (Q) If Mr. [3861] joins [257] and [4171], should it be in the Pittsburgh Chemical Co. or in the new company discussed by [257], [4171] and [3861]? (A) Pittsburgh Chemical Company, and then the decision made as to what is to be done. If they are to organize new companies for distribution OR for manufacture, or for different branches of the product, well and good! But let it ALL be from the ORIGINAL basis! unless we want to have disorders later on, or string someone!

17. (Q) What would be a good name of the new company, using Mr. [3861]'s name as part? (A) Depends upon what the product IS to be, and the like! WE wouldn't form a new company, as yet!

18. (Q) What is the ability of [257] in handling sales of a business of this type? (A) It's very good!

19. (Q) What is the ability of [4171] in managing a business of this kind? (A) Very good, though he has to be watched - as most all the rest of 'em!

20. (Q) What activity should [3861]'s son have with the new business I have discussed with his father? (A) Depends upon HOW the set-up or association is to be, and as to whether he should have an activity in the distribution, manufacture, or certain particular TERRITORIES for distribution - see? Good man!

21. (Q) Any further advice that will be of help and benefit to [279] regarding any of this? (A) First, do not be over-anxious about the situation. Get it straight in self's own mind as to the conditions that exist, as to those feelings of distrust as do exist - from some things that have been said or passed, and ANALYZE self and self's relationship, then come to a proper understanding about it all.
