10:30 A. M. Eastern Standard Time. ..., N.Y. (Questions concerning health, mental and material affairs)
1. EC: Yes, we have the body, the enquiring mind, [279] - this we have had before, as well as many of those conditions mental and physical that affect the body in the present.
2. In the physical forces we find there are many changes that are gradually showing a betterment in the physical functioning of the body, the natural results that have been indicated from the more active body in its daily exercise, and intercourse and change with individuals. While there are occasional reoccurrences of some conditions that have been indicated as weaknesses or tendencies in the physical functioning body, these - as we find are more often the result of indiscretion, either in the unusual activity or mental worriment, with those indiscretions in eating - or the like.
3. Those specific conditions that we find arise, as in the lid or in the eye, we find there need not be the irritating of same, but with the use of a weak solution of an antiseptic there will be seen changes that will come. That in the form of any good eye wash, or that used in the preparation boracic acid. This will make for a cleansing of cold, congestion, and a clarifying of the membranes that have been inflamed from these irritations.
4. In the matter of the digestive system, well that there be occasional periods of the psyllium seed, used as a clarifying of the whole intestinal tract. This used in moderation, but for sufficient period to cleanse the system, is better than being taken for the greater period and the system becoming accustomed to the weight or the impacts of same, or import of same.
5. The colonics are well to take occasionally, that there be no mucus deposits in either the colon or the caecum area. These are tendencies, as has been indicated.
6. The manipulations, that should follow the sweats or Turkish bath and rubdown, are well to be had occasionally; and this as we find, would keep the body near physically

fit.
7. Ready for questions.
8. (Q) Do I have an ulcerous condition in my digestive system? (A) Rather, as indicated, that of mucus that makes for those burning pains that come at periods, when there has been the inflammation produced by indiscretions, or by the fecal matter remaining too great a period in some portion. NOT ulcerous.
9. (Q) What is the condition of the blood? Any suggestions for its improvement? (A) This, as we find, is one of the great improvements in the whole system; that of a nearer equal balance in the white and red blood supply. Not near so much a tendency of anemia, or any form of same. While the full amount of the red blood is not apparent, yet so near that this would not be called an unbalanced condition. As also indicated in the activities of the kidneys, that when there is inflammation in the intestines there is the natural result of some cast, as would appear in urinalysis, or some traces of albumin. This would depend, to be sure, upon the character of the disturbance in the alimentary canal, or hepatic circulation; but with the keeping of an even balance, as indicated, through the variations, as for the keeping of coordination in system, these would be on a near even balance. Do not make for that in the mental self that such awful precautions are necessary in the activities or the diet, but rather as that that would make for a BUILDING of the whole general system. In other words, the precautions for a building UP of the system, rather than preventatives AGAINST deteriorations in the system. That once set in the mind, there's a vast deal of difference in being on the offensive and defensive in one's own replenishing of a tendency in a system, whether related to heart's action, digestive system, hepatic circulation, or what.
10. (Q) Will it be necessary for the condition of the eye to be removed, as advised, when the weather gets warmer? (A) Should this not respond (but, as we find, it would) to those applications, then this may be done - but this, as used, while apparently is not just in line with that as may have been indicated by some to the body, clearing the system and clarifying the membranes about the eyes themselves will make for much bettered conditions, and should NOT be necessary for the removal.
11. (Q) Regarding the mental and material affairs: Will I be successful in the chemical business? (A) We would say, rather IS successful in chemical business!

12. (Q) In developing the new detergent we are experimenting with, how shall we treat with Mr. Lawrence of the Chrysler Building? (A) Those propositions that have already been made, or the basis on which these are to be used by or in connection with this individual, as we find, would prove the most satisfactory. These as have already been set, see?
13. (Q) Will the new detergent be successful? (A) Successful for that which it is being DEVELOPED. As in MOST detergents, these should be made for specific conditions, especially in such as THIS is being developed for, and not expect - in the beginning to cover too great a territory of its usefulness.
14. (Q) To develop the Cushman & Wakefield account, how can I overcome the antagonism of Mr. Raby? (A) With that as may be called a loving indifference; that is, in geniality, personality, pleasantness, and while not becoming that of a pest, but meet all the conditions and continue to show or remind the body of the benefits that may be had from the use of those products, as is necessary in this account - See? for positions in the direction will eventually make for an association in a way and manner as makes for friendships that become very much worth while in such accounts; for, as has been given the body, FIRST there must be within self that of being sold one's self on that one intends to give, or sell his neighbor; or put self in Raby's own place, and what would be the necessary approach to self to convince that this would be the proper product for the necessary developing of the account. Work in THIS manner, and we will see results. Be worth while! To be sure, if self then is NOT sold, and self may see that were the positions reversed there are others that are more in line with that result desired, then act in THAT way and manner. But if self IS sold, or self REALIZES that better results, or equally as good results, or NEAR as good results, then that line! Just as if one was trading with self. This is a good illustration of seeing self, or knowing self.
15. (Q) What can I do to aid my efforts with the Statler Hotels Co. while awaiting the results of their tests? (A) This may be carried on in much the same way and manner; that is, acquaint those using same - not as one over anxious, but one over anxious to be of SERVICE in seeing that that as is desired by the parties using same may be obtained; that is, that they may obtain the maximum results with the products being tested in their various capacities - and this is using self as "As ye would that men should do,
279-16 Page 4
do ye even so to them."
16. (Q) Will the Warner Bros. account prove of great benefit to me? (A) Prove of great benefit, will these be carried in the same way and manner. Do not think that because they are once sold they will stay sold, unless the service is with it! for there are others that are proving, or attempting to prove, the worthiness, or worthness, of their own products. The same may be said of other concerns of the same nature, as in the Publix Company, of the Paramount, or of those of the other concerns of the same nature. Loew's, or others.
17. (Q) Have I been handling these accounts properly, so far? (A) These are very good. Study much along the line as has been given. See just how SELF would be approached, as were the positions reversed, and - as was given of the feeble minded man who hunted for the horse, thought of where HE would go if he were a horse, and he went and the horse was there! So with self, in meeting the needs of individuals where the work is a service to be rendered, not to self more than those that are using same, not only the costivity to the concern using same but the pliability of the product by those individuals that ARE to use same; for oft, as may be found, even the servant USING same finds this or that product goes farther, better service, and the least exertion, and a word here or there adds to the service that may be rendered a corporation or concern that uses any quantity; for this is COOPERATION in action! Do not play one beyond the other, but - as given - as if positions were reversed and the self is being sold for this from the buyer to the servant, or the user.
18. (Q) Would Mr. Galpen prove to be a good salesman for me? (A) Might try him! But don't go too deep, until there is more proof shown!
19. (Q) Will I receive an offer from Mr. Louis Gold and his associates very near future, regarding the new corporation just formed? (A) If self sets self in mind that the activities of the new corporation are more in line and in keeping with that self would desire to engage in, and is set in motion by self through those various Channels of insinuation and of activity as to the approach to Gold and associates, then this may be brought about. And if - IF - self has determined this at first, then accept same! Has self sold self on the proposiitions, the conditions, as surround the present associations, then remain there!
20. (Q) Any suggestions for the betterment of my business interests? (A) Learn these lessons that have been given, and apply
279-16 Page 5
them in the everyday life; remembering thine fellow man, no matter what position he may occupy, is human - as self. Do not appeal to the lower instincts, or those of BUYING - that is, of what is ordinarily termed that of "You pat me on the back and I'll pat you on the back", but rather as service for Service, as may render that as is best for all concerned. This may appear the longer way round, but once sold they stay put!
