Time of Reading 3:45 to 4:10 P. M. Eastern Standard Time.
1. GC: You will have before you members of the prayer group gathered here. You will give a discourse for the group as a whole which may aid them in preparing for the coming Congress meetings and assist them in helping others to get as much of an inspirational nature as possible from these meetings. You will then give a set of affirmations to be sent to those on the prayer list.
2. EC: Yes, we have the members of the prayer group as gathered here; as a group, as individuals, and their purposes, aims and desires.
3. In giving that as may be helpful to each in gaining an inspiration - this, to be sure, must come from within, and each may only be directed as to a way or means in which each may give. Then as ye give ye may receive that inspiration, that blessing.
4. This ye have realized in thy efforts and in thy purposes; though the desire has been at times to gain knowledge. This is not amiss, IF the knowledge is applied in such a way as to become beneficial, or a helpful influence in the lives of others; bringing them, through thine own principle, thine own purposes, thine own desire, to an awakening to those abilities which lie within - where each may attune self to the consciousness of the Christ within.
5. For, thy body being indeed the temple of the living God, where He has promised to meet thee - consecrate thyself, thy purposes, thy abilities, to that awareness of the abiding faith and hope that may be aroused within - by supping with thy Lord.
6. For as ye do it unto the least, so ye do unto thy Maker.
7. Let each, then, seek that which is BEST in those ye meet day by day. LIVE peace and harmony within, and ye will bring peace and harmony to those ye meet through this series

of meetings.
8. Be GLAD that ye have the opportunity to speak a word to thy friend, thy neighbor, thy brother. For, thus ye may arouse that hope within as to make this experience in this material world worth while; where each may seek to know, to give, to be that He would have thee be.
9. All are children of that Creative Force, God. All are brethren, then, with thy Lord; who has promised, "Lo, I stand at the door and knock. If ye open, I will come in and sup with thee."
10. Give thanks for that thou hast - the opportunity, the day, the period in the experience of the earth, when ye may raise thy voice in praise to Him.
11. As to the affirmations of cheer and of hope that ye may send to others - these in the present would be:
12. First: LORD, THOU ART HOLY! MAKE THOU ME GLAD; THAT I MAY BRING PEACE AND HARMONY IN MY OWN BODY, MY OWN MIND, MY OWN PURPOSE - JUST NOW!
13. Another: OUR MAKER, OUR GOD! WE GIVE THANKS TO THEE FOR THY PURPOSE WITH ME. THEN USE THOU ME, O LORD, TO BE A LIGHT, A HELP TO OTHERS. IN HIS NAME WE ASK IT.
14. Another: OUR FATHER, OUR GOD! WE GIVE THANKS FOR THY HOLY WORD, FOR THY PROMISE TO MAN, FOR THY THOUGHT OF MAN. MAY I AS AN INDIVIDUAL, THEN, GIVE THOUGHT TO OTHERS IN SUCH A PURPOSEFUL WAY AS TO BE A HELPFUL INFLUENCE TO ALL I MEET DAY BY DAY.
15. Another: OUR LORD, OUR GOD! WE GIVE THANKS FOR THY LOVE THAT IS MANIFESTED IN THE CHRIST-CONSCIOUSNESS. THOU KNOWEST MY NEEDS, O LORD; IN BODY, IN MIND, IN PURPOSE. ALL COMES FROM THEE. THIS WE ACKNOWLEDGE. HELP THOU ME, O LORD, IN SUCH MEASURES THAT I MAY BE WORTHY OF THY GRACE, AND IN THE USE OF THY PURPOSES IN THE EARTH JUST NOW.
16. Another: OUR LORD, OUR GOD! I COME GIVING THANKS FOR THE PRIVILEGE OF LIFTING MY VOICE, MY HEART, MY PURPOSES TO THEE. HEAR THOU, O LORD, AND ANSWER IN SUCH MEASURES THAT I MAY KNOW THOU HAST HEARD MY HUMBLE PRAYER. GIVE THAT THOU SEEST I HAVE NEED OF JUST NOW. HELP THOU ME, O GOD, TO BE FRIENDLY TO THE FRIENDLESS; TO GIVE LOVE TO THOSE WHO HAVE LOST HOPE; TO BRING A WORD OF CHEER TO THOSE WHO HAVE BECOME DISCOURAGED FOR WHATEVER REASON IT MAY BE. HELP ME, O GOD, TO BE A CHANNEL OF BLESSING TO SOMEONE - NOW.
17. Another: OUR FATHER, OUR GOD! WE COME IN HUMBLENESS YET BOLD TO ASK THY GRACE AND THY MERCY. FOR THOU HAST PROMISED THAT IF I WILL BUT BE THY CHILD, THOU WILT BE MY GOD. HEAR, O FATHER, AND ANSWER IN SUCH A WAY THAT I - TOO - MAY FEEL THAT THE SPIRIT OF TRUTH HAS NOT DEPARTED FROM THE EARTH. GIVE CONTENTMENT, O LORD, IN PEACE NOW. O GOD,

GIVE THAT LOVE WHICH I MAY SHED - YEA, MAY SHARE WITH OTHERS - IN THE CHRIST NAME.
18. Another: OUR FATHER WHO ART IN HEAVEN, HALLOWED BE THY NAME! THY LOVE, O GOD, HAS KEPT THIS WORLD IN PLACE. THERE IS MUCH THAT EACH OF US MUST DO, AS A GROUP AND AS INDIVIDUALS. MAY WE BE WILLING, O GOD! MAY WE FOLLOW WHERE THOU LEADEST; THAT WE MAY BRING AGAIN TO THE HEARTS OF MANY THAT LOVE LIGHT WHICH MAKES FOR PEACE AND HARMONY IN BODY, IN MIND, IN SOUL. WE ASK IT IN HIS NAME.
19. We are through for the present. nt.
