1. GC: You will give this entity a mental and spiritual reading, correlating where advisable the physical conditions as relate to his spiritual growth and expression. You will answer the questions he has submitted, as I ask them:
2. EC: Yes, we have the body, the entity, [282].
3. In giving the mental and spiritual suggestions, the physical - in this particular experience - must necessarily be considered.
4. There has been indicated that there are the needs for the correlating of the mental and the physical, that the spiritual may manifest in a coordinate manner through same.
5. As to the MANNER of this activity - we find that much has already been accomplished. Yet we find that the administrations through Suggestion, as well as the Radial Activity of Gold for the nervous forces of the body, would be most beneficial in the present activity, present environs, present surroundings.
6. Hence these formed in the nature of the low electrical forces with the radial activity of the elements as indicated would be most beneficial.
7. As to the mental and spiritual attributes, this is - or should be - well understood by the body - that:
8. The purposes for the entrance into the material plane are not merely accidental, but that the soul may become more aware of its relationships to Creative Forces and magnify or manifest same in the manner of the dealings with the fellow man.
9. That there is an ideal set whereunto all may turn for a way, a manner, an ideal, is also evidenced in the experience of the entity.
10. Hence there needs be only that reminding as to that He has already given - that: In the manner, in the way ye treat thy fellow man, so ye do unto thy Maker.
11. He hath promised that those who draw nigh unto Him, He
282-9 Page 2
will draw nigh to them.
12. This is then indicating that, as ye apply the purposes, the aims, the desires in thy daily conversation, thy daily activities with thy fellow man, these are to be in accord with that He hath already given.
13. In doing this in a manifested way and manner one is enabled to become aware of that consciousness of the abiding of the Christ hope, the Christ life, the Christ promise in one's experience.
14. Thus, whether the activities of the material or mental body are in this or that direction, these principles, these activities may be a part of the daily experience of the entity.
15. For these are applicable, whether in reference to the daily conversation, whether as to home, as to church, as to state, as to nation.
16. For where there is hate, envy, or that attitude of same, there CANNOT dwell that love as He hath shown, or as He hath given, "A new commandment I give unto you, that ye love one another."
17. Then, let thy activities in EVERY way, in EVERY manner, become those of one who has put ON Christ in such a manner, in such a way that thy good be not evilspoken of, nor thy conversation questioned by others.
18. For unless thy activities and thy dealings with thy fellow man are coordinate with the principles that ye proclaim ye believe, in HIS activity, they become stumbling-stones to self as well as doubts and fears in the minds and the experiences of others.
19. Let thy conversation and thy activities, then, be consistent with that thou professest to believe.
20. Thou KNOWEST in Whom thou may believe, and as to Who may be thy Ideal.
21. Then, practice same - not merely in speech - not merely in the reciting of rote or of any message that may have been a part of the experience of a disciple - but LIVE - LIVE in thy daily life that which is in keeping with that He has given.
22. In doing such, ye may become one with Him. For His promises are, "As ye abide with me, I may abide with thee."
23. Then, let thy life, thy activities, be such that those seeing, knowing, hearing, observing thee may know that ye walk and talk with Jesus.
24. Ready for questions.
25. (Q) Regarding the taking of Gold in the system as referred to - should this be through the Radio-Active Appliance, the Wet Cell Appliance, or some other method?
282-9 Page 3
(A) There are other methods that are available in the present environs and surroundings, but are primarily of the vibratory nature or method; and these would be advisable in the present environs.
26. (Q) What proportion of Gold should be taken? (A) One grain of Chloride of Gold to each ounce of distilled water used in the Appliance; these the proportions.
27. (Q) Will you give directions as to where he may get this in his present environs? (A) He is associated with those very activities that are giving the suggestive and other treatments, and the directions.
28. (Q) How often should such treatments be given? (A) About twice to three times each week.
29. (Q) Any special place for attachments? (A) These are used by those in the environs, according to their own directions - to the hand and to the body.
30. (Q) What divine guidance might be given? (A) That which has been given; and only that which is in the daily activity, the daily conversation CONSISTENT with that thou professest to believe, IS applicable or even helpful in the influence. For to feel or to indicate that which is not practical is to deceive self. And as has been given, this is unwise.
31. (Q) Any suggestions for improvement for present vocational activity, so as to have it be a stepping-stone in a spiritually growing life? (A) Apply, in thy daily avocation as an interpreter or a teacher, or as a clerk or secretary, that which ye profess to be. Not that such would be proclaimed aloud, but rather lived - gently, kindly - meekly, above all.
32. (Q) What immediate type of work would you advise? (A) As just indicated, either as an interpreter, clerk or secretary.
33. (Q) What type of work should the entity prepare himself to eventually take up? (A) He may act in the same capacity in his OWN land, or own state.
34. (Q) What studies would be best for the entity at this time? (A) The best, as always, is to study SELF - as to its relationship to the Creative Forces and as may be manifest by its relationships to its fellow man. Studies in the MATERIAL activities may be into international exchange. For with the correcting of the physical, as well as the
282-9 Page 4
attitudes of the self as to environs, there may be established - with the return to its home land - the activities in which there may be - which is so much needed - the better understanding of the needs of nations and their correlated activities.
35. (Q) Should entity seek a position in the land of his birth? [N.Y., U.S.A.] (A) When there has been the completing of the physical activities for the more perfect balance, very well.
36. (Q) How can good and strong habits be built up, so as to eliminate mistakes and weaknesses? (A) Let that mind be in thee as was in Him - that ye will go ABOUT doing good, but not AS one that is other than equal to the highest, yet in the lowliest manner. For, "He that would be the greatest among you will be the servant of all."
37. (Q) Should the entity endeavor to write for publication as a channel for spreading spiritual teachings? (A) This may come with a greater experience, when it has been made a PRACTICAL experience in the life and activity of the entity; not in the present, however.
38. (Q) Any suggestions for developing ability to speak in public, so as to spread an understanding of spiritual truths? (A) This should be rather from experience AND of the heart, than from being PRACTICED in the material way and manner. For as He hath given, "Of the ABUNDANCE of the heart the mouth speaketh," or from the ABUNDANCE of the life experience in Christian principles, Christian applications. For as He gave, "I came that ye might have life and have it more ABUNDANTLY." Then, not as self would speak; rather as the SPIRIT giveth utterance.
39. (Q) Is there a service the entity could contribute in the work of the Association? (A) Contribute it rather in the manner in which the LIFE, the activities of self bespeak the principles and the truths that are given by Him, the Christ - even Jesus.
