This Psychic Reading given by Edgar Cayce at his office, 322 Grafton Avenue, Dayton, Ohio, this 13th day of May, 1925, in accordance with request made by self - Miss [288].

R E A D I N G

Time of Reading 3:45 P. M. Dayton Saving Time. ..., Ohio.

1. GC: You will go over this body carefully, examine it thoroughly and tell me the conditions you find at the present time. You will diagnose the case thoroughly, giving the cause of the existing conditions, also the treatment for the cure and relief for this body.

2. EC: Now, we find the body improved from that as we have had here before, especially in those conditions that have to do with the sensory organism as relates to physical forces.

3. The body only needs keep in that way as has been given and outlined for the body, keeping more open air exercise and keeping the physical exercises for all portions of the body. The exercises should be taken more consistent with the needs of the body. That is, the evening exercises for the blood flow away from head, and of mornings with the upper portion of body. Swinging, circular motion then of lower portion of body in evenings, and the circular motion of hands and upper portion of body of mornings, taking rub-downs of cold water on the spine after each exercise.

4. The body should take more of those foods that give blood building forces in the body, and keep the body in the mental balance so that the whole system keeps in coordinating forces throughout.

5. We find no specific conditions, organically or of central forces, that are abnormal. There are some vertebras that need adjustments, and these would relieve some tension. Necessary, then, that occasionally deep manipulation, osteopathically or chiropractically, be given the body. This produced, as we see, from the posture of the body in the exercise as is normally taken. The body should be more erect in carriage.

6. Do this, though, as given, and we will keep the body physically fit.

7. (Q) Which vertebras need adjustment? (A) Second and fourth cervical, sixth and ninth dorsal, third and fourth lumbar. Not much in any of these, save in cervicals.

8. (Q) Should the violet ray vibrations be continued?

(A) These are very good. Not too often, two to three times each week, both for the eyes and for the body. The adjustments would be better than the violet ray for the conditions in the spinal column.

9. (Q) How many adjustments? (A) Just occasionally, once a month or once two months, or twice until the adjustments are made, then once each month, or one in two or three months.

10. (Q) What should be done to remove the pain that comes between the shoulders at times and in the lower portion of back? (A) Make the adjustments.

11. (Q) What foods would be the blood rebuilding foods for the body? (A) Meats, with those of the character that carry the juices of meats rather than the tissue. Fish and such foods.

12. (Q) Are the exercises the body has been taking recently beneficial, and in what way? (A) Beneficial, as given, but should be taken more consistent. These have been outlined for the body. Evening exercises lower portion, with the swinging circular motion, body lying prone. Morning exercises with the upper portion, arms, hands and upper portion of body, but with each take the rub down of cold on spine, creating equilibrium, creating the correct flow of blood to all portions of body. Take more exercises in the open, keeping body more erect in exercise in walk.
