1. GC: You will have before you the body and enquiring mind of [288], in regard to her former incarnations in the earth's plane, also their influence in the present life. You will answer the questions which she will ask regarding these:
2. EC: Yes, we have the body, the enquiring mind, [288], also the information as has been given as respecting the appearance or incarnations into the earthly experience.
3. Here we have information that will be of interest to all who study psychic experiences in the material plane, as to how such experiences of others may be given through an individual such as the source from which this information as may be given emanates. There must be in the physical or material world a channel through which psychic or spiritual forces may manifest. It must become concrete, or definite, with some channel, some manner, of manifestation. The anatomical condition of the human body lends itself to such an experience, then, through some portion of the physical organism of a body. That as is known in the human organism, or animal, or vegetable, or mineral even, as the germ of which propagation is made, must be, and is, the source from which there must be that contact that is made for such manifestation.
4. In this particular body [Edgar Cayce] through which this, then, at present is emanating, the gland with its thread known as the pineal gland is the channel along which same then operates, and with the subjugation of the consciousness - physical consciousness - there arises, as it were, a cell from the creative forces within the body to the entrance of the conscious mind, or brain, operating along, or traveling along, that of the thread or cord as when severed separates the physical, the soul, or the spiritual body. This uses, then, the senses of the body in an introspective manner, and they are not apparent in functioning in a physical normal manner as when awake. All faculties of the body become more

alert. As to the loss of consciousness, how great is the ability of the development of the psychic sources to completely cut off consciousness from the physical or anatomical brain and still retain - in the shell - those abilities of functioning through that such an entity may have experienced in its passage through physical experience. Hence, as this immediate channel, having incarnated in many experiences, stays within that environ of its experience throughout the incarnations [Vibratory Influences?] into a physical experience. Hence, while others may act in the same manner, some variations may appear as to the RESPONDING actions of THEIR incantations INTO the same or a similar experience. Hence variations, yet this is worthy of being studied, would one understand. Hence there may be much given as respecting this activity of this PARTICULAR entity and ITS associations throughout the eons of time, as called, or throughout the varied and divers EXPERIENCES OF the entity in the earth's experiences, and its ability to attune itself to either material, mental, or spiritual forces of others, or as to what it has the more often chosen as its standard of the measurements gives that expression to the information given. 6. (Q) In Atlantis, was I associated with Amilius? [See [364] series.] If so, how? (A) One as projected by that entity as to a ruler or GUIDE for many, with its associating entity.
7. (Q) What is meant by "yet not until the entrance into the land of the unknown did this entity come to the realization of this as truth, that not by their fault was the catastrophe brought"? [See 288-1.] (A) In the experience the entity then as twofold, and much of the waywardness by many accredited to the acts of the entity, for there was then the FORMING of thoughts that became material activities, and the passing into the unknown, or from the physical to the spiritual realm, gave the entity that knowledge that those contentions arose much within the inmost self of many that the entity not responsible for. Hence, as given, with the passing, the knowledge that they - or the entity - not WHOLLY responsible, yet in the next [Egypt:Ra-Ta Period] as an entity in the realm where contentions arose, and the entity the center, or the physical manifestation OF a contention brought into physical being by the union of that as was uppermost in expression of the entity itself in the former material activity. Then, the PHYSICAL reactions brought FOR

the body those positions or conditions as surrounded same. Well that the entity, or all, know that the law of love, or love as law, is cause and effect; or each impulse has its own corresponding reaction in thought, life, mental, physical and material. Not understood by some! THIS: "As ye sow, so shall ye reap." [Gal. 6:7] Each thought, as things, has its seed, and if planted, or when sown in one or another ground, brings its own fruit; for thoughts ARE things, and as their currents run must bring their own seed.
8. (Q) How long after I lived in Atlantis did the destruction come? (A) Depends upon which destruction! There was the BEGINNING of the destruction in the latter portion of the entity's physical sojourn there.
9. (Q) What is meant by "This body, not physically, will be present when the earth is changed again"? [288-1] (A) This that the entity INNATELY, or thoughtly, through thought, will be - IS - in the position of knowing that the change comes, yet not physically present - as then - at the period of the greater portion of the PHYSICAL change. As then. Knowledge of, and acquainted with that, that bringing - and brought about - the destruction of the first portion in Atlantis. In the earth, then, physical knowledge of, through thought, through the mental abilities, through the psychic sources, as has been described for self, in the knowledge of, but not a physical portion of, the whole change. Rather that that BRINGS it about, than BRINGING - or being IN - that BROUGHT about.
10. (Q) In the present, why do I have the feeling of contamination when touching animals' hair, fur or feathers? (A) As in that experience in Atlantis, the thought forces brought into being were of the animal (as has been given in other channels or information), and the NATURAL tendency of abhorrence arose from seeing those things take form as menaces, or seeds of indiscretion of beings in the experience. Hence in the manner described through those of that present WITHIN a physical body (as of self), that cord through which impulse of psychic forces, or of the nature, produces then as a chill along the spine at the contact or impulse from such association. INNATELY this appears. This may be OVERCOME in the manner of abhorrence - as one says "No", then they build that which would prevent such, but - as given - knowing what has been set as the criterion, or the standard of measurements, and that even though pollution brought beings that menaced, that through self, through the channel of self, brought the SAVING forces IN mental, IN spiritual aptitudes, [See 288-27, Par. 6-A "blessing and

curse"; Par. 25-A - "vibratory influences"] and these should then become sanctified, or made holy, that the self may OVERCOME abhorrence, pollution, ALL such - in what? In the SOURCE of life itself, as any form in material expression - as in psychic forces, as has been described - has its inception in that of Life Force itself manifested. Then IN SELF may such abhorrence, such conditions, be overcome. In HIM, or in Life, or in the expression of that as BRINGS life into being - we call God!
11. (Q) Why do I feel the same contamination at times when coming in physical contact with individuals? (A) Close to, or those that are of the same sort of sources, or forces, or elements making up them! One explains the other! Individuals, or beings, that are close to such, or have an attraction to such conditions, become abhorrent. All these may be overcome. [GD's note: She also abhorred strong perfumes, odors, flower fragrances, though loving flowers.]
12. (Q) In Egypt, what is meant by "the entity then the answer to the call of that force as developed in self"? [288-10] (A) Just as has been explained. This as given, that that developed in self was the expression of bringing into life in PHYSICAL form those things that were of the MENTAL, or thought forces as were brought. Hence those of other beings brought that in the experience of the entity, as it developed in physical, that of contention that the ENTITY produced - while those of others also acted with same, see? Hence when brought into being as the answer of a portion of self in Egypt, into PHYSICAL being, the entity then the answer to that as expressed within self in the love of bringing such forces to physical manifestations.
13. (Q) What is meant by "the urge to be the lead in the knowledge of spiritual forces in self"? [288-10] (A) As the action of others that the entity responsible for much from the beginning of man's sojourn as physical organism, and in the spiritual retaining - or finding self as NOT responsible, then the natural reaction! Remember the lessons as given! Each seed has its own center from which the growth must come! The natural urge is to lead, or to MAINTAIN - as it were - the first LAW of preservation, that in SPIRITUAL sources, SPIRITUAL forces, SPIRITUAL activity, in that source, that force, that way, in which knowledge, workable, concrete, made material, may be expressed, that FREES one indeed from contamination, association, from those things that would beset - and that the SOURCE IS spiritual in its essence! Hence the desire to lead; yet the WARRING

forces ever within the body, as through many experiences, as may be seen from the incarnations into the earth's experience - are constantly meeting those same things, and finding expression, and self is oft put in advance, and stumbling and groping - yet ever must the entity be in the van* of that thought. Hence we find, when we come to expressions, to material things, in the conditions in the present - the ABILITIES to put into words the interpretation of experiences of others, either physical, mental, material or spiritual, from such sources, not surpassed in the earth! * [van (van), N. VANGUARD] The front of an army, fleet, or advancing body composed of individuals; specif., in a military formation, the leading unit: hence, the front of any movement; as, a nation in the VAN OF PROGRESS.]
14. (Q) In the Persian period, was I associated with Uylessi [brother [391]] of Greece? If so, how? [See 391-1.] (A) He that came to give and to learn much of that being given by those SURROUNDING the entity, as the entity then the mother OF San - or the one giving to the peoples that as the variations of many a peoples, that the systems of that period brought into material activity through the actions of the entity itself. The entity, then, associated rather as friend - FRIENDLY relations, and sympathy for the varied conditions as arose in the actions of each brought them close together.
15. (Q) In the Persian period, did I have an influence upon the development of San? If so, how? [See 993-3, Par. 5-A, 6-A on 10/21/31; Also 262-60, 14-A on 4/22/34.] (A) The mother of San, as given. Was right smart influence!
16. (Q) Are the truths given by San to the people included in the Zend-Avesta? (A) They were these!
17. (Q) How is San spelled? (A) Zan. [Zend?] [See 538-32 on 7/19/32.]
18. (Q) Was the entity of Adam and Eve - (A) We are going too far back!
19. (Q) (Continuing) contained in the one body San during that period, or was it separated? (A) Not asked correctly! These were all together in Amilius. They were material bodies as came in Adam. They were as associated in body as came in Zan, or that that eventually became - through its incantations, incarnations, into the earth, those forces as the Savior in all periods. 20. (Q) In this period, was I of the Jewish race? (A) No Jews then! That was years later! As Jews, as known today.
21. (Q) What is the foundation for my great desire in the present life, since a child, to give to the world an offering through a son that would be dedicated to God? [See 288-29, Par. R2.] (A) It answers itself, when these varying conditions - as were from the beginning, and as came through in experiences, both as OFFERING self, HAVING offered self, having become a channel, having rejected its conditions in some, yet this remains. Not unholy! if made the proper channel; but rather holy, as a channel. Retain same, for in the end this must bring to self a knowledge that all channels, all vessels of a physical body, may be consecrated in such a manner to those of the spiritual forces as to bring forth that seed in due season, in and through those channels to which they become dedicated to that service.
