This Psychic Reading given by Edgar Cayce at the office of the Association, Arctic Crescent, Virginia Beach, Va., this 7th day of September, 1941, in accordance with request made by those present.

Time of Reading 3:55 to 4:25 P. M. Eastern Daylight Savings Time. ..., Va.
1. GC: You will give in detail the symbols, colors, and the stages in the development as signified in a complete spiritual aura of the entity [288], present in this room; so that it may be depicted in a drawing to be used as a helpful influence.
2. EC: (In undertone: You will give an aura chart of the entity [288], indicating the symbols, colors, and the meaning of each, that they may be made into a drawing that would be of help to the entity.)
3. Yes, we have the entity, [288], and the stages through the experiences in the earth; also the colors and the symbols as might indicate this development, this retardment.
4. As we find, for the more perfect understanding, and to give the spiritual impetus through each stage or phase of activity - the aura, or that emanation which is indicated from the body-mental and spiritual influences and forces, - it would be necessary to indicate these through the varied experiences of the entity in the earth.
5. As the sun, the moon, the stars would be given for signs, for seasons, for days, for years in man's experience - then it would not be amiss that these would indicate the symbols as they were represented in those stages or phases of experience in the earth.
6. These, to be sure, would then be arranged by the artist who would make the symmetrical lines and the color tones as are indicated in the various phases of the activity to make such a chart.
7. In the first, we would begin then in the lower portion, and to the right side indicate Saturn - with its rings. These would be indicated in the delicate shades of coral. And ABOUT the rings of Saturn would be the signs that represent Saturn in its phases of activity. This would mean change, or the entrance into material from the spirit realm.
8. In the center would be the earth. This would be indicated by the sign of the earth, rather than a circle,

but of sufficient size - according to the artist's concept - to balance with the left portion of such a chart. (The tone would be gray-blue.)
9. And this (the left) would be indicated by the map, or the figure upon the earth, or a sphere as of the Atlantean experience. The coloring of the map upon Atlantis would be rather in red, with the significance of materiality; that shade as in contrast to the delicate shades of Saturn - as indicating that of materiality, and of sex life in the earth. About same, however, would be at least SEVEN five-pointed stars.
10. (Preferably all of these would be done in the colored chalk, or of such natures.)
11. Then in the center above these would be the transition, or to the eight-pointed star. This - all - would be in the GOLDEN, or orange gold.
12. Above this then, but to the right, and indicated by the white to the earth again, would be the figure of the earth - but THIS time as a planet; hence indicating the land area upon the earth. This would be figured in browns, or of earthy matter. About THIS would be FOUR stars. These would all be eight-pointed.
13. In the center, then, would be - sufficiently large - the indicating of Jupiter's sign in the zodiac. This would be altogether in the white.
14. Then to the left of this would be the circle with the pyramid in same. This would be in blue, and not too deep a blue.
15. Above this then would come the experience of the entity in that in which there is the sign and the figure of the sun; this, too, the zodiac sign and the smaller suns, or circles, in gold, connected in chain about same.
16. Then above this would be the figure as in the zodiac sign of Mercury, with the SIGNS of the zodiac about same of Pisces - or the fish.
17. In the center above the sun would be that figure indicating the crown (and these, the sun AND this figure, connected with the wreath); as a part of that representing the phase of the church, or the Cross, or that as the Master suffered. This, to be sure, would be in green and rose.
18. That figure then balancing these, or to the left, would be indicated by the large figure or sign of Neptune; this the water sign, but the zodiac sign of same. This, too, would be connected by the wreath to that figure in the center. This in white and gray.
19. Then there would be depicted that experience of the entity as an oblong oval. This would be across, and about

this the signs - four in their orders - in which the entity through the French experience passed. On each end would be the cross in gold. On the opposite sides of the oval would be the sign as indicated by the NEW moon. These would be faced the opposite; one on the wane, one the new, see? in its face. The colors here, too, would be in green with the pink about the edge of the face representing same.
20. The center figure would be the Master in the garden at prayer, as indicated in the seal. [See Source File Key #288 for life seal and interpretation re 288-31.] [Miss [275] was led to use Hofmann painting in Riverside Church, N.Y., copied in seal.] For this is the center experience, or that wherein there were the great determining factors in the experience of the entity, as would be indicated in color, in figure, in symbols.
21. Above this, to the right, would be the figure again of the zodiac SIGN of Saturn, with the small stars ABOUT this ring; that is, in leaden color, but the stars in white.
22. These would be five-pointed stars, and seven of them about the figure.
23. The center figure here would be represented by the Cross. This to balance, to be sure, with the figures below as well as those to be represented above. But these are NOT to be connected by any streamer or lines with other figures in the chart or pattern.
24. To the left, in this balance, would be that represented by the zodiac sign of Uranus. THIS is to be all in that represented by contrast - white and black - and it should be white and black! (And I mean black and white!) But about this would be the seven eight-pointed stars that are to be in white.
25. Above this, to the right, should be that as would be represented by the FULL moon; this in proportions and in colors as of the silvery light of same.
26. In the center here will be found the urn - as would be called the Eucharist urn. From this is to be the outpouring as upon the moon as well as upon the figure to the left, which is the earth in verdant green - or that as of the healing green.
27. Above each of these is to be the torch, with that in the flame as of the pink crosses - indicating that to which the entity hopes to attain.
28. These as we find indicate the symbols, the signs, the chart of the entity now called [288].
29. We are through for the present.
