Time of Reading 3:55 to 4:15 P. M. Eastern Standard Time. ..., Virginia. (Physical Suggestion)
1. EC: Yes, we have the body here, [289].
2. Now, as we find, there are disturbing conditions in the physical forces of the body that prevent the normal reactions. There is considerable lack of enzymes in the system. This is produced by improper functioning of organs, producing a very bad coagulation in the system through the blood supply, which is lacking in its elements. There is torpidity in the liver, with those conditions that have been seen in the intestinal system that make for toxic forces, as well as specific conditions that exist in the extremity and in other portions of the body.
3. These, then, are the conditions as we find them with this body, [289]:
4. We find the BLOOD SUPPLY is lacking in those forces necessary for the better coagulation. With the improper distribution of eliminations, and with congestion in one of the organs where the excretory and secretive functionings manifest their activity, these toxic forces are seen as abrasions in the skin, that are a portion of the disturbance which arises; making for that deficiency in the blood stream itself proper.
5. The effect is in the blood supply, in its attempt to make the coordinations.
6. The cause, as we have indicated, is in the functioning of the glands as well as in the excretory functioning of the liver and the tendency for the thinning of the walls of the intestinal tract. These are the causes, as we find, of the disturbances.
7. The NERVE FORCES, naturally, show irritation. At times the body has very little rest; at others the body is, as it were, drugged from the toxic forces when it is resting or relaxed. At times we find the digestive forces upset by the nervous disturbances.
8. In the functioning of the ORGANS themselves, we find:
289-2 Page 2
9. Brain forces are very good.
10. Throat, nasal passages, bronchi, larynx; these show irritations from lack of the proper flow of the lymph through these organs. This comes at times as phlegm in throat, as a stoppage in the nasal passages, as a swelling of the soft tissue through irritation in the superficial circulation.
11. Lungs organically are very good.
12. Heart's action is irregular, though there is no organic disturbance there.
13. Digestive forces, as indicated, show a sympathetic disturbance in the nervous forces, that are overtaxed.
14. Liver shows the torpidity, and a tendency of spots. Not a cirrhosis [sclerosis] but very much bordering on some EFFECTS of such.
15. Pancreas, spleen and gall ducts show irritation; and fullness in the gall duct, as torpidity in the liver would naturally indicate; as well as disturbances in the jejunum where thinning of the walls of the intestines makes for disturbing forces. [Psoriasis]
16. In the extremity we find a superficial disturbance from the exterior, indicating a character of disturbance in the blood supply and the lack of proper coagulation and flow of the blood or drainages in their proper channels or manners.
17. Then, in meeting the needs of the conditions of this body, it would be well for the body to take the time for adjusting the conditions in the system sufficient that there may be the proper rebuilding and replenishing forces. Otherwise we may find that it will drag along and make for constitutional conditions of a much greater disturbance than is indicated in the present.
18. First, we would begin with the eliminations through the alimentary canal. As there has already been a relaxation through a portion, we would take first the broken doses of Castoria - at least a whole small-sized bottle; taken in doses of half a teaspoonful every half hour until there is a THOROUGH relaxation in the body and the eliminations have begun.
19. Then, after this, take a large dose of Simmon's Liver Regulator, to FLUSH the system, and to make for that activity necessary through the body.
20. After this begin with small doses often of Olive Oil. (Half teaspoonful every hour or so, or sips all during day.)
21. And drink two or three times each day a glass of the fusion of a tea that would make for a changing of the reactions in the system through the lacteals and the lactic acids, that are a portion of the forces in the digestive

system. Saffron tea made in the usual manner. [As given in 289-1, Par. 7-A.]
22. These, as we find, will make for the bettering of the conditions.
23. We would make a local application of an ointment to the extremity, prepared with burnt alum or heated, powdered alum, and turpentine, spirits of camphor and mutton suet. Put a quarter teaspoonful of the alum to a tablespoonful each of the other ingredients, or in that proportion; and apply to the area, about the abrasion [from severe (metal?) burn]. [See Par. 32-A below.] While this will require a little time, it will be found that as the system is adjusted we will make for a bettering of the conditions.
24. When the eliminations have been set up, after the beginning with the Olive Oil and the Saffron tea, we would supply to the system those enzymes necessary for the blood supply - and for the purification and the BUILDING UP of the body itself. These may be supplied best by the use of the Ventriculin with the iron; WITH the IRON. About half a normal dose would be taken early of morning, even before there is any meal taken. Then a larger dose, or a full dose, would be taken just before retiring in the evening.
25. These, as we find, with the proper precautions as to the amount of water taken (being sure this is pure, too), and as to the regular activities in the diet, we find that we should build the body up.
26. Keep the diet nearer to those things that are alkalin-producing; or more alkalin than acid-producing. Of course, the proteins are necessary for the body; also a quantity of the carbohydrates. Not so much of the starches, but a certain amount of the carbohydrates and proteins is necessary for the regular activity, which will be balanced with the influences we have indicated in the properties necessary for the replenishing and rebuilding.
27. Do that. Ready for questions.
28. (Q) Just how large a dose of the Simmon's Liver Regulator should be taken? (A) About half to a level teaspoonful, if the powder is used. Or a teaspoonful if the liquid is used.
29. (Q) Was the sore which was removed from nose a cancer? (A) No.
30. (Q) What is the condition of the teeth? (A) Naturally, with the type of disturbances as we have indicated, the enamel is very much disturbed; poor circulation, and many of the teeth NEED local attention. Massaging the gums with Ipsab or with equal parts of salt and soda will materially aid in producing a better condition

there. However, local attention is needed.
31. (Q) Any indications of strep? (A) No indications of strep in the present.
32. (Q) Any indications of blood-poisoning from the burn? (A) These indications are rather, as we have indicated, from the lack of enzymes (that is, resistances, you see) and the poor coagulation. Of course, through excess influences of the nature that would make for infectious forces, disturbances of the kind might arise. But if the proper precautions are taken, the eliminations set up, with the body kept quiet for a day and a half or such matter, we should find these conditions correcting themselves.
33. (Q) Any other advice or counsel at this time? (A) It would be well for the body to adhere to these suggestions that we have indicated, in this manner, that the system may be given the proper OPPORTUNITY for the response to those influences indicated.
34. Do that. We are through for the present. Copy to Self " " Ass'n file
